LEGO DUPLO Disney Princess Snow White's Cottage

LEGO DUPLO Disney Princess Snow White's CottageI am so happy to see little girl Duplo sets with Disney characters. We love them!My 21 month old loves putting Duplo blocks together as well as stacking regular blocks, so when I saw these it was a no brainer. To be honest, I didn't think this set would be all that great (but just had to have Snow White), but I have been pleasantly surprised. All my kids (including 4 and 5 year old boys) and I adore the chairs, table, Snow White, and the bunny. They love putting the bunny and Snow White on and taking them off the chairs. They love the little bowl that is the table, and have used it for their snack foods while playing with it.They have put dry cereal and frozen peas in it to eat for themselves.I highly recommend this set!

My 17 month old loves this and I've never seen Legos with fabric clothes, but amazingly the skirt has not gotten lost :)

My daughters (3yrs & 15 mos) love this. We also got the Cinderella set and I'm glad we did because they are small sets. They are best as add-on sets. The chairs, table, and apple plateare fun for imaginative play. So glad they have Legos for girls!

My girls have never been into Legos much... until the princess versions arrived. We have several sets. This is their second favorite after Cinderella's carriage. They love Snow White's little table and the rabbit. They also enjoy taking her yellow skirt off.The house and fence really aren't muchthe set needs to be combined with basic building pieces so they can actually make a cottage.

The whole idea of buyng a LEGO is to stimulate the creativity. If you dont have enough pieces to mount or if they are made to attach to only certain types of pieces it will limit the experience.

Beech & Blue Veneer Wood Backgammon Set - Table Top

Beech & Blue Veneer Wood Backgammon Set - Table TopProduct shipped very quickly. Looks great, just like the picture. Good size. Wooden pieces are very light, have a very cheap feel. Biggest surprise -this item doesn't close! I guess that's what "table top" means, I suppose I should have known that (I thought it would fold like most other sets). So look at the picture, and realize that's exactly what you get -an always-open backgammon game. Reasonable for the given price, but more serious backgammon players probably need to spend more for a closable set with more solid pieces.

There's no denying the attractiveness of this board. It's very nice-looking. However, it's not worth $40 by any stretch of the imagination. The wood is so light and soft that it shows wear after only a few games. The stones are nothing like those advertised in the image, but are rather flat disks of equally light wood which bounce all over the board during play. I suppose it does the trick, but for the price one would expect something sturdier.

Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center

Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water CenterBelow I'm going to cut and paste my first review of this toy, one I posted almost 3 years ago. My five stars still hold true although I have had some leg weakness since then (but we've owned the toy 6 years now and I've got three bigger kids--7, 5, 3--leaning on it in every direction as well as an 80 lb. labrador retriever who has taken to standing in it to look over the fence, ahem...anyway). I am about to rescrew new holes in each leg and the table and fill the legs with stand to make it stable again but it is completely worth it given the joy it has brought my children. The water cover is still 100% effective and the toy still looks practically brand new. I have bought one more new umbrella since my last review. So, that's two new umbrellas and some leg maintenance in 6 years. Not bad. I'm determined to keep it because it is a great place for us to do lots of messy science experiments and activities, as listed below, that are best kept outdoors.

Old Review from May 2007:

First of all, we have had this toy for 3 years and it still looks like the first day it came out of the box (in the BLAZING Texas sun). Also, it has been moved around too many times to count and is still as strong as ever. It's durable. Plus, it really does keep water out and the cover stays put tightly even through the most violent and windy thunderstorms. The umbrella is awesome, although I did have to replace it once due to weathering. I soooooooo don't care. Read on...

I'm on my third child now and if there is one thing I'm sick of, it's the toy that's a one-trick pony. I'm really looking for more versatility in a toy. That said, let me tell you why we will keep this toy until the kids outgrow it even though we also have an 8x10 ft. sandbox in the back yard. Sure, it's a sand and water table but we've done it all:

(1) sand alone

(2) water alone

(3) potting soil/trowels/silk plants/plastic pots

(4) landscaping stones and small Tonka construction vehicles (aka "the quarry")--sometimes the small trucks even deliver to the Tonka Mighty and it goes on for hours

(5) bubble solution to use with the large wands and even the small and different wands (so that the kids aren't fighting over the tiny opening of a tiny bottle of bubbles that inevitably gets spilled all over the patio)

(6) a Mommy-made iceburg (colored blue) on the hottest summer day with dollar store penguins and polar bears--you can even shave the iceburg to make snow (I used a putty knife) and put crushed ice (if your refrigerator makes it) in the water to make it a happier habitat

(7) dishwater and play dishes with sponges and scrubbers to play clean-up without making a mess at the sink like they do inside

(8) aquarium gravel/toys/plants with pretend fish

(9) sand over buried "fossils" (pretend dinosaur bones found at the local dollar store) -Put a small layer of sand on the bottom of the table, place bones all over that, add more sand to fill, then saturate all the sand with water and let it dry completely (left in sun, might take a day or two depending on temps). That way, they'll actually be able to kind of chisel the bones out instead of just easily moving the sand.

(10) sand sifters and dirt with various sizes of rocks that I spray painted gold -super fun day!

(11) measuring spoons/cups/jugs that teach lessons about volume -pair with bath color tablets to learn about color mixing!

(12) Did you know that Little People LOVE to go to the beach? (Off subject, they're also not opposed to a tumble in the dishwasher!)

(13) any number of arts and crafts activities that I would rather do outside than inside (making slime, papier mache, etc.)

(14) tin pans/muffin cups paired with dirt/sticks/water mud for mud pies

(15) sand castles, of course!

(16) dinosaurs and various animals add a tremendous amount of play value to your basic sand environment.

Well, that's all that I can remember doing in three years time as I sit here writing this review, although I'm sure there's more. As if all that isn't enough, this table is a great size. No elbowing for more space here. There's room for 6 kids. Yep, one on each end and two on each side. True story.

Do you miss sipping iced tea and reading a magazine or chatting with friends? It can happen again while your toddler plays happily and safely. I LOVE this toy. Can you tell?

One question you need to ask is do you want one side sand and one side water, or do you want two sides with mud?You should decide otherwiseyour kids will decide for you.

Seriously though, we have a 1, 3, and 5 year old and all three enjoy this.I'd say that ~8 years might be the upper limit at which point kids might start to get bored...

UPDATE:I'd still stick with ~8 years as the upper limit, ours are now 3, 5, and 8 and it's clearly the younger two that enjoy this the most. We're not on about our 5th year with this....

I'd recommend not filling the sand side up all the way as the kids enjoy it just as much with only an inch or less of sand. Also you end up buying sand less often this wayit seems universal that they DO NOT want to keep the sand on the table.

Note that there is a water drain ONLY on the "wet" side so you may have to bail the "sand" side out when they start moving the water around.

It came with a few boats, bridges, etc.Naturally, Hot Wheels and other toys will end up here.Consider adding a few empty yogurt cups, plastic utensils, etc to the mix. It's amazing how much fun and unstructured play they can have with these.

The umbrella is a nice touch as our deck is very sunny. If you don't need it for this toy you can still use it elsewhere as it's basically a beach umbrella with a shorter stick. The original umbrella is in a matching color, though if you need a replacement it seems Dollar stores sell one that is identical except for color. UPDATE: We bought another umbrella at Harbor Freight same style except it tilts for better sun protection.

My one complaint is that the top tends to collect water. It's designed to drain, but the top will sag, particularly because kids like to sit and stand on top.I put an empty yogurt container over the umbrella hole before I put the lid on and it helps prop up the top enough for (most of) the water to run out.

UPDATE: After ~5 years outside it had collected some algae and mildew on the lid and sides, but a quick blast of the pressure washer this spring cleaned it up and now it looks as good as new!

Otherwise very sturdy just like all Step 2 products.

I purchased this even after the reviews about leaks in the legs. The design really is a bit silly as there is no reason to have holes for the legs as you screw them in via the side. We put it together and it leaked, I took it apart purchased some sealant at my local hardware store and reassembled. No more leaks and my little girl (16 months) loves this table. We only put water in both sides as that's entertainment enough for her. We live in Texas and I'm afraid of snakes and bugs getting in, so once she's ready for sand the fact that it's not on the ground and has a cover will help. I can see how it would be a little heavy with sand if you need to constantly move it but overall it's a great product. If we didn't have to use sealant to get it to stop leaking I would have given it 4 stars.

We bought this last summer for my at the time almost two year old daughter. It was very easily assembled & we dumped a bag of sand in it for immediate play. The difficult part is the water because its so fun the kids love to mix the water with the sand (fine) and the sand with the water (messy). We have had to spray the water side out a couple times which is easy enough to do and let the water/sand mixture fall under the table through the drain. We've had this now for a year.It is very durable. We have no problem with the drain. The cover still works great (although is a little discolored from the sun/weather).Its still a hit.We would buy this again in a heartbeat! It is a gift that has been enjoyed by everyone!!!(oh...and this only requires 1 bag of sand to fill the sandbox the guy at the store told us it took 2 so we ended up with an extra one bag will be just fine!!!)

After much internet research, I went with this sand and water play table over several others, and I have been very happy with my choice. However, I do not have anything to compare to as this is our first (and hopefully last) sand/ water purchase. My daughter is 21 months.

Pros -

1) it is off the ground, which keeps it (and the child) a bit cleaner. Also safer with little ones, as they can't fall into it and drown. The pattern of roads through the water side also ensure they can't get their heads underwater.

2) The lid fits on well, and is secure even in storms.

3) the water side has a plug and is easy to drain. We've had no leaks, and we didn't even screw the legs on, just popped them in.

4) the umbrella is great, the height can be adjusted and it keeps her mostly in the shade all day.

5) the little enclosed toys are a perfect size for the sand and the water.

6) a perfect size for smaller children such as mine, though I suspect older children would find it a bit too small. Several children can be around it, we have had 4 year old visitors who loved it, and we have managed up to 4 children easily.

Cons

1) the sand and water WILL mix, and you will spend a lot of time emptying the water side and refilling it with clean water.

2) need to store the umbrella not a big deal but my daughter likes to wave the detachable pole around like a sword if I leave it under the table.

3) there is a tendency to tip the sand onto the floor, I guess if you are 2 and you have a shovelful of sand, you want to experiment with gravity, but it is messy!

4) pretty low table for an adult

Things that might help

1) matchbox cars fit the roads perfectly. Little kids soft tonka toys (those cute soft plastic ones with the faces) do not. This was a bit upsetting to my daughter as she wanted to make the cars go on the roads, and it took us a day or two to sort it out.

2) the sand side takes about half a 50lb bag of playsand. You could fill it higher, but then you will lose more over the edge. We just top it up as needed. You can buy a bag at Home Dept for 6 dollars.

3) normal beach toys are a little too big for the table, eg buckets. We use the digging toys (shovel, rake, castle mold) from the "Green Toys Sand Set" Green Toys Sand Play Set but the bucket is too big really. Other beach toys from Toys R Us, etc are way to big.

4) get a small stool for the adult play partner it makes the whole experience much more fun for you!

5) we use a spare silicon food loop Fusionbrands The Food Loop 15" Silicone Trussing Tool, Set of 4, Pink to hold the umbrella and pole together when folded. This has made it harder for my daughter to wave it around and keeps the umbrella neatly.

Cardinal Industries Dominoe Table Top

Cardinal Industries Dominoe Table TopThis was the first table top I have purchased. I've since graduated to a larger table, but just wanted to express my thoughts AND a little tip that will go for any of the quarter-fold tables available here on Amazon.

Basically, I love this table. It's highly portable (even more so once I give you my helpful tip). And it's great for people learning the game, because of the built-in tile holders. When players get more experienced, they like to hold the bones in their hands. But it's nice to have the option of holding them, or using the tile holders.

The playing surface is a bit smaller than the more expensive table tops available, but you'll just have to get a tad creative with how you play the tiles.

Because the playing surface is felt, the mixability of the tiles is a little hampered, but can be done with not a lot of effort. Also, since the playing surface is felt...if you play with mostly adults, I wouldn't recommend smoking around the table. Have ashtrays available, or not allow smoking around the table. The drink holders will fit the average 12 oz beer/soda can and/or drink glass. You'll want to wipe out the holders before storage. To keep clean, use a tape lint roller. And maybe you might want to spray the table with Scotchguard before it's first use.

Now, the biggest complaint about all quarter-fold tables is that, because of their design, you're going to have a gap between two panels. That's necessary in order to be able to fold the table. I used a bracket once to close the gap, but then I could only fold the table in half. I then took plywood and screwed it to the underside of the table, but then I couldn't fold it at all anymore. So how can you close the gap, but not mess with the design of the table. Take two wood screws that are about two inches in length. Screw one into the SIDE of the table top about 3/4" to 1" away from the gap. Screw it in almost all the way. Do the same with the other side. Then take a rubber band or a twisty-tie and wrap it around the two screws tight enough to close the gap completely. When game play is complete, remove the band or tie, and fold the table for storage.

If you take care of the table, it should give you a long time of enjoyment. I bought this table back in 2005, and it lasted until January 2009. That's because I was taking it to tailgate parties, and because I screwed the board flat, I had to pack it into my car with chairs and tables. The table and chair legs ripped the felt and cracked the tile holders. Otherwise, I'd still have it today.

This is a great table. Honestly, you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Seek it out. But you have my recommendation to buy it wherever you see it.

Warlord Wraith Lord RPR 14033

Warlord Wraith Lord RPR 14033I like the dynamic pose of this miniature. It is, overall, a simple and simple to paint mini. Werner Klocke is a brilliant sculptor, and finding his work in the reaper line is a double bonus, since these don't have the "wargame pricing" or the "premium prcing" of his own Freebooter line. A pleasure to paint.

Monopoly

MonopolyThis Monopoly set was cheaply produced in China, as you might guess given its price. For a family looking for a first set, it seems satisfactory. But anyone who has played Monopoly for years should be on notice that this set, redesigned in 2008, includes several minor annoyances.

First, the most practical annoyance. The board folds up into quarters, which allows the manufacturer to fit the set into a smaller box, presumably to reduce production costs. But because the box is somewhat smaller (about 16 inches long), there is no room for the sort of convenient tray for Monopoly money that was once standard in the old boxes (which were about 20 inches long). This is annoying for both gameplay and storage.

Second, the producers have unnecessarily and inexplicably made small changes to the rules of the game -rules that have stood for more than half a century. Landing on the Luxury Tax space used to cost you $75; now it costs $100. The new rules also change the numbers of each kind of bill to be apportioned to players at the start of the game -and in fact, the game comes with a smaller supply of some bills.

Mention of this set's Monopoly money brings us to the third annoyance: the manufacturers made numerous gratuitous changes to the look of the game. The palette of colors used for Monopoly bills in the United States since the 1940s has been changed: The $10 bill used to be yellow; now it's blue. The $50 bill used to be blue; now it's purple. (These changes make it hard to reuse money from older Monopoly sets.) Among the other unnecessary changes to the look of the game: The formerly purple properties on the board (Mediterranean Avenue and Baltic Avenue) have been recolored brown. The Community Chest and Chance cards are now printed on white cardstock instead of the familiar orange and yellow, and the classic drawings on those cards have been replaced with computer-generated 3D cartoons. Even the "Go" space has been redesigned: now the word "Go" is written in black instead of the familiar red. (Stodgy purists might also be put off by the various alterations to font, logo, and other design elements.)

To be sure, these changes do not alter the fundamentals of the game itself. But they are annoying enough that anyone with nostalgic memories of the game from childhood should consider a different set.

UPDATE (July 2011): Thanks to one of the commenters on this page, I'm pleased to note that Amazon now offers Monopoly The Classic Edition. From the descriptions, reviews, and comments on that product's page, it appears that it suffers from none of the annoying problems I have criticized here.

Please feel free to read this review in its entirety, or save yourself some time and avoid this version of Monopoly and buy the "Monopoly Classic" version instead. While it is about double the price, it is the game you know and love. The less expensive version (reviewed here) is a piece of garbage.

I regret this purchase. If you grew up playing Monopoly, you would be much, much better off buying "classic" or a used version. There are several major issues with this version, as well as some minor ones.If you buy this to teach your children one of the most beloved games of your childhood and a part of Americana, you are apt to be disappointed.

The major issues involve quality and design. The board itself no longer folds in two.It is cut to fold into quarters and barely sits level on a table.I do not hold out much hope it will last very long. The property cards are flimsy, made smaller than in the past, as well as being thinner. The Chance and Community Chest cards are also of poor quality, much thinner than their predecessors, and take on color changes, now being blue/white and orange/white, instead of the familiar yellow and orange, respectively.

The money is a big concern as well. The money is thin and there are not enough slots provided to use money in the bank during play, or to store after gameplay, and in fact there are raised areas in the plastic money tray which prevent the money from even sitting in the spaces. The raised areas are somewhat random and follow no logical pattern. So forget using the box/tray component for the bank during a game or storing money neatly. The tray is essentially useless.I have no idea what Hasbro/Parker Brothers was thinking here, and apparently neither did they.

The minor issues are some game changes: The money is different color and handed out in different amounts.Very minor, yes, but now you have to get used to $10 being blue (used to be the $50) as well as some other color changes. You are also starting the game with different amounts of money. Also the Income Tax space is now a flat $200 instead of "10% or $200", and Luxury Tax is $100, no longer $75.Again, these are minor but worth noting.

I would avoid this cheaply made version. At the very least this should be advertised as what it is "revamped Monopoly."

Monopoly is often overlooked as a gamenight option these days, many people considering it outdated. But it's a classic for a reason, combining lucky rolls and strategy in a very unique way.

The fact is that most people don't play Monopoly by the correct rules, and that makes all the difference. The key to enjoying the game is the inter-player deals and politics. That's where all the fun lies, and much of the strategy. Any player can strike any kind of a deal with another player want to trade all the purples and light blues for Boardwalk? No problem. Want to trick someone into trading a property you need for all your railroads? This is where the real enjoyment comes from. I encourage you not only to get the game and play it, but to read the rules and "get into" the game.

There are also some fun alternate rules you can use, such as collecting $400 (instead of $200) when you *land* directly on "go", or putting fine money (from chance cards, utility expenses, get out of jail money, etc.) in the center of the board and collecting it when you land on "free parking".

Don't overlook Monopoly as an outdated option. It's still one of the best games out there.

I bought Monopoly because my sister took our family set of the game.I shouldn't have let her have it!This cheap version of the game doesn't compare to what you're used to!It feels flimsy and the box is too small.

The bank tray isn't large enough to hold the money so it's just a wasted piece of plastic. You can try standing the money up but it doesn't work.

The chance/community chest cards are white (the tops have color).

The property cards are the same size as the other cards (small).

The board doesn't fold in half, it folds in quarters and doesn't lay flat.

This version doesn't contain the guy on the horse token or the cannon token.

I'm returning this junk. You get what you pay for.

Edit:A better version: Monopoly The Classic Edition

What did children do before they had 100 channels on their televisions, the latest I-Pods, cell phones, computer games, and door-to-door transporation? ANSWER:They played Monopoly!Having gone through my formative years in the 1950's, when we had two channels on a snowy black and white screen and the use of our aunt's eight-party telephone line, we learned how to have a good time with what we had.And we had a rip-roaring good time playing Monopoly, the king of board games.

We played it fast paced, and we developed many skills. We learned from interacting with each other in a nonthreatening environment, as we sat around a little square table.(Imagine a family sitting around a table and conversing for hours!)We learned how to handle imaginary money, count, add without paper or a calculator, make change, handle real estate, roll with the punches, lose gracefully, and win without too much bragging. We developed social skills and vented our frustations as we played Monopoly.

I'm glad I grew up with Monopoly, a social feast in a box.We wanted to play to the end of every game, but sometimes we had to go to bed or do our chores. At that time, we would cash in so we could declare a winner.

Monopoly is the perfect balance between luck and skill. It is great for young players and adults alike.Playing with children is a super way for parents to learn about their children and teach them.

There is one problem I have with the new Monopoly games:I loved the little wooden figures that we used.It does not seem the same without them.

We are on the verge of a renaissance of board games.Monopoly is a great game for starters.

I bought this Bachman as my Grandson's third train knowing full well that he would need assistance and supervision with it (he is a very active six year old).He had a Bachman HO and I have had two G gauge Bachman's, so I was aware they were at the low end in train quality (not LGB, MTH or Lionel in quality).

Let me state that this train was always operated by my grandson with either my or my daughter's suervision, we knew all too well what might happen if he were left to his own devices! I bought it with the idea that it would fit well on the dinning room table and would be easy for me or his mother to set-up in a short period of time.

While the engine and are cars are very detailed, they are not durable and not well constructed (couplers are super CHEAP)!!!

Immediately after the first run, a screw fell out of the right side driver's (try getting that back in!)

Then I discovered that the drivers on each side were not properly set up, so that the engine wobbles from side to side as it runs.I checked all the other screws in the engine, and all were loose. IF you buy one of these trains, checked the screws in the engine drivers and the one on the underside of the engine at regular intervals as they work loose frequently.I re-set the drivers by removing the bottom retaining plate and moving the position of the drivers on one side -I did this repeatedly until I reduced the side-to-side wobble to a minimum, but it was not eliminated.I can only conclude that this is a design flaw (just look at the plastic drive shaft from the tender to the engine!!!) that is the result of cut-rate engineering and manufacturing. While it is not meant to be a Fisher-Price toy, it is not even adult qualiity.

I really don't believe this train is worth $100 or more -probably $30 or $40 at most.

The locomotive (a replica of the "Jupiter") and cars in this set are smaller that one usually encounters since they represent trains as they were in the 19th Century. But, don't let the small size of the locomotive fool you...it's a very powerful little engine. The motor is in the tender and transmits the power to the drive wheels on the locomotive. It easily pulls the five freight cars included and will pull a couple additional cars. Remember, trains were not long back then! You should be pleased with this beauty. There is a lifetime limited waranty on the locomotive.

Butler Specialty 0837011 MultiGame Card Game Table, AntiqueI have the cherry finish table.Great game table, very nice finish, smooth as silk.I have some light walnut antique chairs and it matches just fine as the table has some darker tones to it.I was a little disappointed when I first received this as the glass cup holders are really ashtrays. (why say they are one thing when they are not)I've adjusted to it being part of the antique reproduction charm of the table. The table is very well built, is mostly (if not all) is real wood.It was fairly easy to assembly, I did this myself in an hour or so.

Great Table!!! Kids love the checkers and chess. My husband loves the poker table. The quality and construction of the table is unbelievable for the price. $479.00 was the cheapest we found anywhere online. This table is elegant and functional. Love it!!

These are nice markers. The colors are vivid and the caps are fairly easy for a toddler to remove and replace. When we bought these we read the word "washable" and assumed that it meant that they were washable off of most surfaces. They're not.Washable means that they won't stain clothing. The color is supposed to come off when you throw them in the washer. When you read the fine print on the package it explains that they are not washable off of many hard surfaces such as walls.Soyou still have to be careful that your young artist only draws on paper, not the bedroom wall.

Felt Sailboat Centerpiece With Lights

Felt Sailboat Centerpiece With LightsI'm having an America's Cup party and thought this would make a great centerpiece! It is very thin and made of felt with a wooden base and wooden stick holding up the sails. It arrived promptly, the box very badly damaged by the postal service handling. However, the interior item was intact and undamaged.I'm very excited to utilize this item for my table!

I bought the sailboats to use at my daughters baby shower!

They were a huge hit :) After the shower I handed the boats out to the people that had little boys and of course my daughter took one home to use as a night light in her baby room.

Disney Fairytale Princess Table Cover

Disney Fairytale Princess Table CoverThis is a nice plastic princess long table cloth. It has beautiful pictures of princesses on the outer edges and is blue in the center.Since I wanted it for a smaller round table, I cut it to fit and still had enough left over to cover the butcher block table which was used to hold the birthday gifts. It's meant to be used only once since it made of thin plastic, and it worked out great for our daughter's Princess themed birthday party. We aren't throwing it away yet since we can use it when children's painting projects are being done to keep the table and floor free from spilled paint. You can also find this exact table cloth in discount stores.

Little Tikes Easy Store Large Picnic Table with Umbrella

Little Tikes Easy Store Large Picnic Table with UmbrellaWe enjoy this table for outdoor fun, snacks, meals, crafts etc.To clean up we hose it off!It was very easy to put together, and very durable. It's legs are wide enough to support an adult on one side without tipping and can easily be placed on cement or grass. The umbrella is a must in our sunny state. The cup holders are good if you have 2 kids but if you have more, they make great bubble bottle holders.

Yes, buy this product!!!

We ordered this one after returning another table that was $10 cheaper and very wobbly. This one is perfect! It works great for my kids ages 8, 6, 4, and 1.It is great for coloring, eating, play doh, and the umbrella is really nice. 2 kids fit comfortably on each side, though 3 could fit if necessary. It's low enough that I don't worry about my 1-yr-old falling off, but big enough to fit my 8-yr-old just fine. It's sturdy, and the seats are not sagging at this point, anyway. This one's going outside--I'm almost tempted to get another one to keep indoors!

I have a 3 year old and an almost 7 year old. After looking at several tables and reading several reviews I went with this one, and I am glad I did. Perfect fit. My son is almost 7 and fits fine, and although he is small for his age I think this table will be a good fit for him for many more years. Easy assembly, my husband giggled that it only took him 3 minutes. I hope it doesn't fade...but only time will tell.

I researched children's play tables for a LONG time. This seemed to be the best in reviews and size. We received on time and in great condition. One problem, ...****this table DID NOT come with the umbrella as advised!!!*** I called Amazon and they said since it is coming from a third party they had no control over the situation. I could return and replace the order. Sigh,...not too thrilled about this. It is a huge box and quite the inconvenience to return and reorder with no future guarantee for success. Not sure what we will do as of yet... :/

Replogle Globes Quincy Globe, Antique English, 9-Inch Diameter

Replogle Globes Quincy Globe, Antique English, 9-Inch DiameterI wanted a new globe that would easily fit on a book shelf. This one is a bit smaller than a standard student globe, so it fits perfectly. The wood base and antique appearance are attractive. My only complaint is that the gold parts that hold the globe are made of plastic, not metal, so it might not hold up under rough use.

Good quality and colors matched picture.Mailed promptly and packaged well. Although dimensions were specified, it was much smaller than expected

It lookes beautiful, has nice design, and doesn't cost a lot. I like how you can touch all the mountains on the globe, since its surface isn't smooth, it has like reliefs where mountains are located. We like this globe very much! When it arrived, it didn't have a single scratch (I always like to point it out, because not everything I order arrives in excellent condition)!

I got this for my father as a Christmas present since his old magnifying glass broke. It is well made and i was impressed with the quality of of the wooden box it comes in. Id does have a slight smell, probably from the wood stain but it will probably disappear over the years.

Works perfectly, and it's well-made. The large size lens is not as powerful as I expected, but it is very functional.

I bought this as a gift.It doesn't have a very strong magnifying power, but it's nicely crafted piece and comes in a nice box.It can be used for reading small print documents, but not for any technical use.Makes for a nice showpiece on an office desk.
