This Conversion Table Tennis Top is perfect for my pool table.It comes with pads to place along the edge where the bottom of the conversion top comes in contact with the pool table.It is sturdy and does not slide around (heavy).It arrives in a box with two pieces that slide together (about 50 lbs each piece).It has a great green surface with white lines, just as described on the listing.The shipper was super courteous, and called the night before to let me know when they were bringing the item to my house.

Sturdy table, fits our large, 8-foot pool table, sits flat.Although the two halves of the table don't attach, they haven't slid apart during play.The shipping company contacted my by phone & arranged a shipping date/time a day or two ahead, at my convenience.

Note: it does need a net, which I purchased, along with paddles in a set, also through Amazon.

I spent considerable time researching various Ping Pong tables (looking at the combination of price, quality, ease of set up, etc.). I chose this item for the following reasons:

Price--much lower that most traditional ping pong tables

Space saving--I use this on top of our family's dining room table. It rest upon a pad that I own, has never slipped and provides hours of entertainment. When we plan to use the table for a dinner party, I can easily set this in storage and put it back up again within minutes.

Ease of set up--I tend to struggle when setting up complex items. The descriptions listed in many traditional table reviews concerned me greatly. This item is incredible easy to set up. It is heavy (there are 2 pieces that fit together and each is approximately 50 lbs). After placing the two pieces together on a table, all you need to do it set up a net system and you are ready to play.

Quality--I use this for family play and with friends. The quality is great for us. I doubt that I would be able to tell whether a higher price table provided a better playing experience given my skill level.

I highly recommend this product.

Table top is sturdy and easy to assemble. The quality of these pieces were equal to the quality of Thomas wooden train sets.The price was the lowest that I saw on Amazon. The package was mailed quickly.I ordered the week of Christmas expecting to receive it the week after.But I got the package within three days.

I bought a Imaginarium Thomas wooden train village with table for Christmas for my 3 yr old son.He loved the set and played with it all year.Well Christmas has come around again.So I got this bulk set package to build a track around his bedroom.The pieces are good quality and have more than enough pieces for what we wanted.And of course he loves it.

I looked extensively on the internet before making this purchase, but try to find pieces for less than 50 cents each.

I recently purchased a Salamander Chameleon 336 in "Oslo" trim and it is amazingly well built.I've had lots of other AV cabinetry and stands but this is my first Salamander and I have to say that they absolutely worth the price.This accessory active cooling rear panel is no exception.While you might balk at how ridiculous it sounds to spend nearly $200 on a simple panel with fans on it, think about what it does to protect your electronics.If you have an amp, receiver, or other heat-producing component, this is a must in lieu of the plain non-actively ventilated panel that came with the cabinet.Even if you have ample space around your separating your electronics inside the cabinet, stagnant air trapped on all sides including the rear can build-up a significant amount of heat and will cause long-term damage to your components.Trust me on this: I had a previous Denon receiver fail on me due to my disregard for proper ventilation.

Unlike the standard non-cooling panels that come with all Salamander Chameleon cabinets, the plastic on this active cooling panel seems to firmer and doesn't have a curvature built in to it.While this requires a bit more muscle to squeeze it into place, I'm assuming this was necessary to accommodate the mounting points of the dual fan unit.Once installed, the fit is perfect.However, Amazon's product image is misleading in how the fans are installed on the 30" tall version.The 30" tall active cooling panel I received has the fan unit mounted in the center, almost in line with the pinch tabs on the sides, and not at the top edge of panel like the Amazon's image shows.In my case, it actually works out very well because I have a source component at the top shelf while the amp at the bottom of the cabinet, which in this configuration provides more cooling for the amp since it needs it more.No complaints here.Perhaps the image is an older one and Salamander received customer feedback that pointed out how most people place heavy amps and receivers at the bottom of big cabinets anyway?It's definitely a welcome modification because I originally purchased the extended version of this active cooling panel that provided an extra 3" of rear clearance for large amps but that unit had the fans mounted at the top which wasn't ideal for cooling my amp sitting at the bottom with a shelf above separating it from the fans and partially blocking airflow for it.After I switched from a Yamaha receiver that was 18" in depth to a Denon that was only 16" in depth, I no longer needed the extra clearance of the extended version so the better fan placement was a welcome surprise.

Installation was a snap, literally.It really just snaps into place after you squeeze in the pinch tabs.No tools or hardware to fuss with, unlike the extended version.It basically mounts like the standard non-cooling panels.There is wire on the inside with a spade terminal that you can either attach to a component's casing screw or use the included magnet cube to secure it to the hottest part of the component or amp.This is a thermistor that will activate the fan speed based on temperature.Even at maximum speed, the dual fans are relatively quiet yet seem to move lots of air.With the door closed, the fans are virtually silent from in front.For power, there is a wall wart and cord that you connect to the fan on the outside.Hard to see where it connects to at first but once it's in, you should've have to unplug it again so no big deal.When the systems is powered-down for a while and everything is cool, the fans shut off automatically.

Be wary of which one you order.There is a 20" version of this for shorter cabinets that will only work with 2xx units.This 30" should fit in any one section of Salamander Chameleon 3xx units.

LEGO Green Building Plate (10" x 10")

My son has at least four of these boards, and he uses them all the time.I agree with the reviewer from Virginia that these should be included withevery major set because the Legos do fall apart when they have to betransported from one place to another.I also think the boards aresomewhat expensive, but at least they're sturdy and you can connect themwith Lego blocks to build bigger scenes.

Honestly, I found these plates a LOT cheaper in my local meijer's store, plus they were on sale to boot.That said, you really can't do without these baseplates if your child is going to build anything with legos.It's a bunch of fun anyway, seeing how high you can make towers, which is impossible to do without one of these.They should include these in the sets and how about different colors too?Gray and green get a little boring.You really can't use those colors when you're pretending to be out in the desert with your big army tanks, now can you?Sure wish I could find one of those big legos tables if anyone sees one, please let me know.They would be an even better investment over these baseplates.

These baseplates are important if your little one likes to build structures with Legos.I'd recommend attaching them to a board (I wood-glued 6 of them to a board, added some molding, and put sliders underneath so I could store the board under beds or sofas) so they won't flex.

Otherwise, you'll definitely need to encourage your child to play with these on a table or other hard surface, and warn them that moving their constructions to another spot might result in the creations coming apart.

My daughter and I have found the 15X15" baseplate a better size to make our structures on.If Lego would market an even huger one, my heart would be content!

I had a ton of Legos as a kid (who didn't?), passed down from family members and friends so it was a mish-mash of whatever was available in the 70s.Today's Legos are very neat in that they come in lots of great colors and there are so many fun sets out there with unique pieces to play with.My kids and I love them!

The base plates, however, are a huge disappointment.First they're not included with most sets, which just seems stupid to me (especially the complex kits that are so $$ to begin with!).I finally ponied up to get a few in various sizes for my kids and I'm surprised at how flimsy they are!I remember the base plates being thick the edges were nearly the same depth as your standard Lego brick and most importantly they were rigid.I have many memories of stepping on the corners of these things with bare feet, ouch!But I'll tell you what, those base plates wouldn't flex and shatter your creation into a million pieces, either.The larger base plates are the worst my kids like to play with their Legos in the living room where we've got a rug on the floor and my youngest (who is 3) has a hard time getting bricks to stick flat as every time she pushes down the entire thing warps inward.I try to encourage them to build on the hardwood or on a table but they prefer the rug (it is Winter, who wouldn't).Anyway I just think that the base plates, especially at $5-$7 for a piece of molded plastic, should be the same quality they were thirty years ago and stand up to a lot of play.

Toy Tool Set Workbench Kids Workshop Toolbench

We bought this tool bench set for my two year old son.The tools are great, very realistic and they do a great job on the plastic nuts and bolts that come with the set.However, we really wanted something my son could stand by and "work" and pound the hammer on.This is not it.The legs are very flimsy and poor quality.I should have known, they're just plastic.We assembled it and it stood up okay, but if you lean on it at all it falls over and then the legs get bent out of shape and it won't stand up again without an adult straightening it out.My husband ended up building legs for it out of scrap 2x4s we had in the garage.

So, if you just want tools this is okay, but as a bench it is no good.

My two year old LOVES this toy. When he unwrapped it on his birthday, he played with it ALL day long and didn't want to go to sleep that night. The "electric" drill is his favorite. Though I saw the other review about the legs being weak, they SHOULD be plastic. It's not made for a child to climb on, just a light weight toy with no heavy parts that a child could hurt themselves on. I just wish they'd added a few more plastic wooden parts for assembly with the plastic bolts (it just comes with two pieces). All in all, a great toy. And it arrived just in time.
