My granddaughter loves it! She is 2 1/2 and she loves drawing and coloring.As soon as we had it together, she was drawing on the clear area with the paints.The colors showed up really well with the light on.We also put up coloring paper and she had a great time.It took less than 15 minutes to put it together and it's very sturdy.I am glad I purchased this one for her.I think it will survive her and my youngest granddaughter to be passed on to others.
This was a great gift for my Grandson. He loves to draw pictures or paint on it.

I had been looking for an affordable plexiglass easel for my children.I thought it would be fun for them to paint directly on the surface, trace, see through it, etc.Almost all the ones I saw were in teacher supply lines and very expensive.I was just about to give up when I saw this easel and bought it for my children as a Christmas gift.It's a little shorter than most children's easels.You can see that in the pictures, though, as the older children are sitting.This didn't bother me because my boys are young and shorter than average.The light inside is a nice touch too.It really only works well in the evenings with the lights off, otherwise it only lights up the very topmost section.I didn't buy it for the light so that didn't bother me.It comes with two sets of paints: 3 tubes of florescent paint doppers, and a set of poster paints in tiny tubes.The paint doppers worked really well with the light on and painted directly on the plexiglass.You do have to shake them really really well or they will run.The poster paints are not washable.I learned that the hard way and spent a good bit of time scrubbing the easel one day.A Magic Eraser I had came in very handy then!All in all a good purchase and I hope it last a long time.It looks like it will.
