North American Trek Eco Expedition

While the idea behind these products from Wild Republic is a good one, unfortunately the construction and quality are extremely poor. We'd had these items for less than a few hours before arms and limbs began breaking off. If you can find them, Animal Planet makes a series of similar playsets that are of much higher quality and that our son enjoys more. Otherwise, better to do without entirely than waste money on these cheap, flimsy toys.

Great concept my daughter loved, loved, loved the animals, but they started breaking on the second day. First the tails break off (and there is no way to reattach). Then the limbs start coming off, then a bear's head fell off.The problem seems to be that they are made of brittle plastic, with moveable parts, and they are just too brittle to keep the moving functions working.

This was purchased for our four-year old and two-year old boys.The animal figurines we're great, but the legs and arms easily separated.You can snap the pieces back in, but they come off again very easily.The boys like it, but you have to constantly fix the pieces.

I bought these along with 2 other Eco expedition sets for my little boy's 3rd birthday.He LOVES animals and plays with these animals constantly.They take a lot of love and abuse and hold up very well!The snake in this set is usually always in pieces, since it comes apart in sections, and the snake pieces are small!However, that's the only flaw in this set. The Eco toy sets are a great value for any child who loves animals.
