The slide arrived ahead of schedule, is sturdy and easy to install.The high-sides make it very difficult for kids to go over the side, even if they should want to,and the slope is fast enough for "thrill seekers" but not too fast for more cautious little ones, at least if an attentive adult is on hand.A slide may not be very educational (?), but the kids enjoy it.As slides go, this seems to be a good one.

I got this slide for my 2 year old and 3 year old and mounted it on a 5' 6" deck.They like it now with a little support going down but will grow into it soon I think.Mommy and Daddy like sliding on it and it feels stable.

This slide is fast, fun, and safe because of the higher sides.It seems durable (if you have pea gravel like we do, don't let kids put rocks on the slide...it will scratch).Overall, a great buy.Glad we didn't buy the cheaper ones from our local hardware stores.

While the info on Amazon and most other reseller sites say 5.5 6 foot deck heights, the manufacturer website says 4.5 5 foot deck heights. I can confirm that you do not want to go over 5 foot on the deck height. I build my tree fort 5.5 ft off the ground before receiving the slide and wow is it too fast. My 7 year old likes it being fast, but my 5 year old is a little scared. My two year old son hits the bumps or "waves" in the slide and sends him flying.... not safe. Great slide, great warranty, packaged great, just with the waves you really need to have this slide at 4.5' in my opinion.

Woo Hoo!This slide is not for the faint-hearted.We were looking for a slide with umph, that didn't require scooting yourself along, as many tend to do.And baby, we got it!Ours is mounted to a 5' deck and is just right.It's a nice, fast ride down.Yet, our 2 year old has still learned to manage it.Let it be stated here that he IS pretty athletic.Most toddlers would probably need a hand for a while.It's reinforced with 2 2x4s and is sturdy and perfect.Of course, any wanting a more scenic ride can hold on to the sides as they descend and then they avoid the "super speed" while still encountering the "wave."Now I am just anxious to see how it holds up to the beating that the desert sun will give it, not to mention all of our neighborhood monkeys...
