memories of my childhood playing with my older brothers...........now one of my brother's is in a nursing home and we play the gameit is WONDERFUL many laughs as I run all over the place catching the ball can't wait to have my grandchildren play with me
the construction is fantasticMy cousin and I played this game a lot when we were kids. Always a blast. Thought my 7 year old grand daughter should see how much fun an old school mechanical game can be. She loved it and was scoring 3 pointers from the deep court the first time playing. Super well built and so far pretty accurate shooting. Ball can get stuck on the sides sometimes. With the hardwood court frame, firm masonite backboards with concession stand and crowd detailing, I believe thin firm masonite floor, real string nets, authentic looking basketballs, I think this game is going to be enjoyed a long time. Sounds like I could sell them right? I could. I bought a cheap imitation for $20 somewhere else and sent it back the next day. Well worth the $53 with free shipping I paid around Christmas from Amazon. You'll maybe want to put some sticky rubber pads under it to hold it still while flipping the levers. Also chasing the balls that go over the wall can be a lot of work so playing on the floor helps or try to find another way to trap the over shot balls. This game is a crowd pleaser for both kids and adults. It is a great way to enjoy some quality family time together. The sturdy construction ensures hours of playing time.My kids just love to play this old school game.Just goes to show you that the simple games are still the best! Our grandkids love playing BasKet with their Pop Pop.The two year old can even flip the basket in the net!The four and five year old boys have spend many hours at the kitchen table together having tournaments. It reminds Pop Pop when he was a kid playing the same game. All in all, a fun game. This game is a blast to play. The contruction is stellar.Love the attention to detail and the sturdiness of the game.I give it 2 thumbs up.
