We purchased these chairs for our kids since they love the ones at Gymboree and would cry when we left.They are a hard plastic that can be flipped into a table a low seat or a high seat.They do get kind of scratched up (we have hardwood floors) being moved around a lot.Plus the yellow one seems to get dirty quick.The only true downfall is they are expensive, but since they are great quality, will last forever, our kids love them we were okay with the expensive purchase.Plusthey make pretty handy footstools for mom and dad. :)
These are great cube chars, you can also flip over to make a chair and table set up for a small child.Love these in the classroom during circle time, would purchase again!
