This is one of the toys we gave our grandson for his first birthday. Of all his gifts, this simple toy was his favorite!He plays with it every day. The toy is easy to use he quickly learned how to removed the top and plop the shapes inside practicing his picking up & putting away skills. His 3-year-old sister showed him how to fit the shapes into their holes. I looked at a lot of sorters, most more expensive, and thought this one was the best. The price is so reasonable proving once again that you don't have to spend a lot to get good toys that kids will love and use!
