This was given to my 2 1/2 year old and she loves it.It is durable so when I hear her clinking it around I need not worry to much about her breaking it.It still resides in our living room on her new little table and chair set even a month after christmas.She asks me to have tea all the time.Sometimes we have real tea or even cocoa, filling the sugar container with sugar or mini marshmallows as suites the drink.The cups are larger than most small tea sets, more like espresso cups, so you can really have a drink. And the tea pot steeps a whole cup of tea.Plus the fiesta ware look alikes are adorable and dishwasher safe.Your little girl will love it.

I hear this several times a day we got this set over a month ago all the other birthday presents are buried in the toy box, but I wash this set every day. My daughter has learned to pour without spilling, and she plays hostess (okay, yeah, she likes her toolsets and her trike, she loves the dirt, and all that, but she's still got a little Betty Crocker in her) we sit around the coffee table and sip hibiscus tea, and chitchat. I wish I had a set like this when I was a kid!This is the kind of toy I love something she will treasure forever (oh, and so will I).

This is a very cute tea set and my 5 year old really likes it. I would like to caution pople with younger children that the pieces are highly breakable. Accidental drop on a hard floor and its in many pieces. I would NOT recommend this for an active child who isn't very careful. My 5 year old absolutly loved this set but it took her about a month to break every piece in the set. I'm off to look for a plastic set for her. Now that said my older daughter got a set like this at 4 and never broke a piece but she was just a more cautious child. Think of the type of child your buying this for and base your choice on how careful they are with their things.

I purchased this piece for a little 7-year old redhead for her birthday.Amongst ALL the toys that she has, her daddy told me that she "plays with this one almost everyday!" leaving her other toys in her toy chest or else in the closet.I played with this one myself before giving it to her.The pieces are incredibly durable even for a 7-year old's hands!Now I'm not sure if they're dishwasher or microwave safe but they'll withstand a good wash under hot, soapy water. After two months, I finally bought a set for myself so that my big sister and I could have tea parties, too!

I had originally wanted a cutesy pink flowered tea set for my 6yr old girl but opted for this one because the cups were bigger and would hold more liquid.I'm glad I did.The set is very nice looking(like fiesta ware) and my daughter loves it.The cups and teapot hold enough to have more than a a sip, but not too much to make a big mess.
