The picture shows this table with two kids happily doing projects on either end.It isn't actually that big. They could each do a single puzzle as shown, but it's insufficient in size for two children to do separate art projects (such as painting) or puzzles larger than the 1'x8" size I'd guess is being shown in the picture. They could each draw on notebook sized paper, however, if the container of markers/crayons/etc. was very narrow.
Overall, it's a great table for a single child or two kids who are just learning to eat (it made for a WONDERFUL dining-room table for a pair of 2-year-olds), and it has held up to a pair of twin boys for years, so far, so it's fairly sturdy. It cleans fairly well, also.I'd recommend it, in general.
My mom got this table for my son for his 2nd birthday. Not too hard to assemble.Durable, quality wood, perfect size for my toddler. We keep this set in our living room and my son uses it daily, whether it be to color, play, eat, watch TV or climb onto the table and jump to the floor!
I recommend this table and chairs set to anyone looking for one for their toddler.
