I purchased this product to use at work. My co-worker always complained when I would set my phone on my desk and it would vibrate, it was so loud that he would automatically check his phone, thinking it was his that vibrated. This has proven to be an excellent muffler for my phone vibration. So much so, that I often don't hear the vibration at all. My co-worker has stopped complaining. Another plus is that I don't lose or forget my phone. I would often set it on my desk and it would get covered by folders or papers and I would walk off without it. Now, with it propped up instead of flat on my desk, it isn't as easily covered by papers.

The design of the wedge is amazingly simple.Feels and acts like a lightweight bean bag but has a little groove which your device rests in.I have a droid DNA which I set on my dash and amazingly it stays put while taking turns even though the bottom surface is not particularly tacky. Since it is like a bean bag you can rest this on uneven surfaces and it conforms in shape. Best part is it is not device specific and does not have locking/unlocking mechanisms to break or fuss with.
