Disney Princess Art Table with Paper Roll, Wipe Board and Storage

The desk is very pretty indeed. However, it is too inclined, thus pencils, notebooks fall off of it all the time. I regret not buying a table instead of this desk. It would have been more durable, more useful, more expensive and more practical to use. My daughter hardly uses the princess desk. The baskets can store lots of items.

I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday to go along with the toy bin organizer from the Disney Princess collection. This desk is really cute, it is the perfect size and it is made pretty well.

My husband put this together in under 20 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and she was sitting down and coloring within minutes.

I like that this comes with organizer bins which hold art supplies and toys and makes a nice extra storage piece.

The only complaint I have is the small boxes that hold pencils and things on top do not stay put, they slide around. It would be good if these had a better way to be stationary or something.

All in all if you have a little girl who loves the Disney Princess theme and needs a little desk for art or school work, this is a great affordable option.

The directions for assembly were hard to follow, and then two of the dowels that hold the baskets under the desk were about 3mm too short, which meant they didn't fit at all and the baskets can't be put underneath. The desktop is tilted slightly, as is typical for an art desk, but there is no lip and often things slide off the desk. Also, I can't find any place online to order refills of the paper roll. It's a cute desk, but really needs higher quality parts and more attention to detail, like many Disney toys.

Where should I start?!Easy construction, went in seamlessly with her newly decorated bedroom and she absolutely adores it.She's been attempting to write and draw since laying her hand on pencils and crayons so I figured why not give her the space to create her tiny masterpieces.The drawers beneath are plenty large enough to put toys, coloring books, crayons in and the desk is well crafted, gorgeous princess designs and not to mention STURDY.The paper roll is easy to find/replace.Absolutely loved the stool and ease of construction.Use a motorized screwdriver though--trust me. There is a fair amount of assembly required but just sit down and study the instructions previous to diving in.Know that there is a difference between the left and right legs of the desk.Once assembled, you will need to adjust the height to the correct height for your child.I used a tape measure to measure the distance from my daughters elbow and then subtracted an inch for clearance.While the table was on its side on the floor, we adjusted the height to correspond.She seems extremely comfortable with the table at that height.

This desk has made my life as a home school mom SO much easier.Even my daughter has noticed a change. She couldn't be happier with this desk. It is great that she has a desk that is just hers, but also that she is completely comfortable and ABLE to concentrate when she does her work!!!She actually looks forward to doing her home school work now!

Schoenhut 25-Key My First Piano II, Red

My parents bought this piano for my son's third birthday.When it arrived, one note was out of tune so I returned it it was painful to listen to.Otherwise the piano looked nice and seemed sturdy, so I ordered the piano again.This time there were several keys that were slightly out of tune, but we thought it was good enough given it is intended for young kids.Then we discovered the song book and color strip were missing, so I had to return it again.This time I didn't bother to reorder it.The other thing I take issue with, is that Schoenhut makes a big deal about German music rods, it's long history and traditional manufacturing techniques.Their website has a section on it's factory in Florida, but the pianos are made in China and the company clearly doesn't have its quality under control.I don't have a problem buying Chinese products in general, but I think Schoenhut is misleading its customers.

I ordered the My First Piano II for my son's first birthday. They were out of the one I ordered, and after sending me the wrong one, they immediately corrected it by sending an even nicer one the next day, in time for his birthday. I was so impressed by the customer service at Schoenut...rare these days. My son loves banging on it the sound is really good for a toy piano, and it's sturdy and attractive. I recommend the one with 25 keys instead of 18, since it will continue to be fun later on when he can actually play something. I'm also glad I ended up with the taller one, because he doesn't want to sit much now and he can play it standing. Later he can use the little bench. I very highly recommend this product!

My son took an interest in my mom's piano at only a couple months of age. I searched local stores and the internet for a "real" piano. I wanted something simple: black and white keys, not electronic/battery operated, just something that resembled a real piano for my son to bang on. This fit the bill perfectly. I got my son this for Christmas and is now 5.5 months old and he loves it. It is the perfect height for him to sit and play away. I also love the bring shiny red color. It is bright, fun, gender neutral, and classic looking. When I read some of the reviews, some people were disappointed in the piano's sound. It is does not sound like a "real piano", but for a $50 toy, I did not expect it to. Real pianos cost thousands of dollars. It has the chime-like sound of a toy, but is not at all obnoxious sounding. Finally, they had both hard balls and softer ones for children, which was convenient and safe.We also ended up tailgating in a parking lot with the set, so the soft balls came in use for the inebriated adults as well.

I'm very disappointed with this product. The "wooden" vertical stands for the ladders are fine, but the horizontal plastic tubes for the rungs are held in place by little one-inch pieces of wooden dowling inserted into the tubes. These fall out of the tubes during play, causing the ladders to collapse. I just finished gluing all the wooden inserts into the tubes, something the manufacturer should have done.

The other problem is the bolos. In ladder ball, each player should use three bolos, and his/her bolos should be a different color from those of the other player. What I received was 6 white bolos made of real golf balls for adult use and 6 yellow bolos made of soft material for child use. Therefore, if both players are using the same type of bolo (which is essential to make the game fair), then there is no color distinction between the two players. Therefore I just had to spend additional money to order two more sets of bolos in two different colors.

It's a shame that the manufacturer could have made a quality product simply by gluing in the connectors, and providing 2 sets of 3 bolos in two different colors each for the adult and child games.

Unless you want to remanufacture this product as I have, please look elsewhere for your ladder golf game.

Learning Resources Tabletop Tripod Magnifier

The nature center we visit with my preschoolers has one and my son really loves it, so we decided to get him one for Christmas.Since only other review when I purchased it was so negative, I opened and inspected it today to make sure there were no surprises.This is a wonderful magnifier.The lens is very clear, great magnification and we did not have any trouble with the legs.I'm even considering borrowing it for occasional jewelry projects.However, I do wonder if there may be some sort of a quality control issue with this brand.The green painted area around the magnifier is obviously marred and scratched in several places.Since I don't feel it takes away from the item's functionality, a 3 year old is not going to notice or care about the scratches, and this was a much better price than the catalog the nature director pointed me to, we will be keeping it.I also can't see the scratches from a few feet away (which is how I'll usually see the thing), so I don't care so much about them.

One of the legs was stripped an took a lot of the excitement out of this product.Grandson wanted to use it right away but due to the poor quality of the legs, he could not try it out.It was quite a disappointment.

PlayStar Picnic Table Brackets

This was purchased as an add-on to my kids' Playstar set.I bought the main kit, as well as most of the pieces locally, but nobody had these, and the plans call for them.As with all the other Playstar stuff, it feels a bitoverpriced for what you get, but it's also very thick, and feels very durable.Be advised, in order to actually make a picnic table with these brackets, you must buy TWO sets.I have not found an application that uses only one set.For the life of me I can't figure out why they're not packaged as a set of four at the appropriate price point.Oh well.

I think I have to fault both the manufacturer and the seller on this one.What is depicted and described is a set of picnic table brackets.What you see in the image is sufficient brackets to make one bench seat and a table.The description states that additional lumber is required.What is NOT stated, however, is that you only receive 2 brackets in an order.That is enough to construct the bench, but not the table.You get 2 triangular plastic pieces.You need 4 to actually build the table and bench .You do not receive what is depicted or described here.The brackets that I received seem fine, but I'm going to have to go back and order another set to actually complete the building of the picnic table.Neither the seller's listing, nor the manufacturer's packaging, makes clear that you need to buy two sets of these to actually construct the picnic table.

These balls are not usatt approved, and after playing with these balls I can tell you the 3-star rating is a gimmick. These balls should honestly be rated 1-star. I will give my reasons. First of all, I am a 1700 usatt rated member, and I have played with many balls such as joola, butterfly, nittaku, gambler, dhs, double fish, newgy, etc.

The hardness of the balls are surprisingly soft. Many 2-star balls are much harder, such as gambler gold, butterfly 2-star, and newgy 2-star. So it feels really light when you're hitting and looping.

The roundness and durability are good, but it doesn't really matter, because club level players won't use these. These balls are meant for garage players, or for robot and multi ball training.

The price of these balls are okay at 24 cents a ball. But, Gambler 2-star balls sell for 20 cents a ball.

Overall, not bad for the robot, multi-ball, and beginners. But these don't even come close to DHS 3-star or double fish 3-star!

I coach the ping pong team at the high school where I am an art teacher. We go through a lot of balls. We were buying one star Stigas because they're cheap but when my kids started winning tournaments they wanted to practice with higher quality balls. The best deal I found on three stars at the local sporting goods store came out to about .83 cents a ball. These GOGO's come out to .25 cents a ball even after shipping charges are figured in! The best part is that they play great! we've used DHS and Halex three stars and the GOGO's are absolutely comparable. If you need a lot of high quality balls you can't go wrong with these.

The quality of the GOGO 3-star balls is impressive given the low price. Both the bounce and the durability are decent, although in a side-by-side comparison the GOGOs pale somewhat in quality to DHS 3-stars, which are regulation ping pong balls. Because of their great value, the GOGOs would be suitable for: 1) Beginner's (or even intermediate) level of play. If you are not playing with high-performance or professional-quality paddles, the GOGOs are definitely good enough for you. 2) Recreational play. If you are not keeping scores, or only play casual games, the GOGOs are usually adequate. 3) Multi-ball training for non-professionals. If you need a lot of balls and you are not training for serious competitions, this is surely an economical way to go (the regulation balls can cost 4 times as much). 4) Outdoor play. Here the wind factor may outweigh any subtle difference in ball quality. If you accidentally leave a few GOGO balls outside overnight, you won't feel too bad since they are cheap to replace. For many people, it is probably a good idea to get a gross (144) of GOGOs for multi-ball training, and some regulation 3-stars (e.g. DHS) for more serious occasions. (Updated in September 2010).

For the price this was an incredible deal. The balls have a true bounce, and they are very durable. My dad got me these for christmas and i love them!!!! My dad and i are intermediate players, but we smash and spike the ball very hard and are extremely competitive. We have no complaints about these balls, they're great!

The table itself is a quality product as fasteners are large bolts, washers and the like.Mostly made of composites and pressboard, but it's sturdy and all parts fit together as they should. I like that they provide four pucks and pushers, and unlike some tables I looked at first, they give you felt pads to put on the pushers so they do not mar the table surface.The panel that goes over the table does add an element of excitement as you cannot see the puck come towards you until the last minute, and it can be raised/lowered. Now for the bad...the blower fans seem excessively noisy. The assembly instructions are poor. There are many small wood pieces (probably for packing purposes) that need to be removed before you can even begin assembly, which the instructions do not even mention, and you have to use a little ingenuity to figure out how to remove some of them. The instructions also do not tell you that you will need a drill and a socket set because some of the screw holes were not drilled and/or piloted first and the "tool" they give you is useless at times.You definitely need two adults to assemble, but three would probably be even better, especially to assemble the legs and to flip the table once you are done.It took my wife and I about 2-3 hours to complete assembly.

The Bridge Direct Hobbit 4" Collector Figure: Bilbo Baggins - Wave 1

I got both the 3.75" and the 6" versions of thisfigure. While the 3.75" doesn't look too bad, the 6" figure looks pretty good. The face sculpt resembles the actor Martin Freeman playing Bilbo, pretty well. Maybe not as good as a likeness that Neca did with his Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy figure, but still pretty good. The accessories have a decent amount of detail as well as the clothing and while I leave my figures blistered to the card, it looks like this figure has decent articulation. The card itself looks pretty good, it's colorful and has a good shape. These figures are selling out fast everywhere, if you collect action figures or are collecting things for the upcoming Hobbit movie, you should get these affordable and good looking figures while you can.

While, I would love to say this figure is as good as the hobbits Toy Biz did for Lord of the Rings, it's just not so. The head sculpt looks enough like Martin Freeman, but the articulation is limited and the joints are places awkwardly. There's even a problem with Bilbo's coat jacket on my figure. Not very satisfied, but it's still neat. Good for playing with, but not great for long term collectors.

This racket has many good things to it, one, it itself is very light, two, where your thumb and pointer finger goes it has "indents" for a more comfortable play. One thing that you might keep in mind is that it is kind of small, now this is my first jap. penhold racket so I'm not sure how big it has to be... Also the rubber it comes with is really nice!!!

Nice and ergonomic for the penhold style of table tennis play with cork at all the contact points. Rubber is only on one side, though, which makes a backhand rather difficult. It's a pretty good deal for the money.

Moon & Stars Kids' 3 Piece Table and Chair Set

The picture shows this table with two kids happily doing projects on either end.It isn't actually that big.They could each do a single puzzle as shown, but it's insufficient in size for two children to do separate art projects (such as painting) or puzzles larger than the 1'x8" size I'd guess is being shown in the picture.They could each draw on notebook sized paper, however, if the container of markers/crayons/etc. was very narrow.

Overall, it's a great table for a single child or two kids who are just learning to eat (it made for a WONDERFUL dining-room table for a pair of 2-year-olds), and it has held up to a pair of twin boys for years, so far, so it's fairly sturdy.It cleans fairly well, also.I'd recommend it, in general.

My mom got this table for my son for his 2nd birthday.Not too hard to assemble.Durable, quality wood, perfect size for my toddler.We keep this set in our living room and my son uses it daily, whether it be to color, play, eat, watch TV or climb onto the table and jump to the floor!

Learning Curve Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway Grow-With-Me Play Table

I bought this table from Toys R Us for $199.99 (included shipping/tax).Although I didn't buy this from Amazon, I wanted to give the product a good review as it deserves it.This is the best table out there.

This table is perfect!It was a nice surprise @ how tall the table is.Most others aren't near this tall & this will allow more years of use & more children to play with it at the same time.....including adults!!!!

This is a high quality table.One side has pregrooved tracks for children not old enough & then when they are old enough you flip it over & that is when you add your wooden tracks however you want.The pregrooved tracks really make it nice for the younger one's.

This particular table has a nice big drawer.It is one drawer & it is pretty big.It is great to put all the trains into.You could easily fit 30 trains/etc in there & it is amazing how fast you accumulate trains/tenders/etc!!!!The drawer seems to be pretty sturdy as well.My only fear is if it is pulled on too hard will it come out?I hope not, but if so I would just take it out.I wouldn't let this keep me from buying the table.UPDATE:it will come out if tugged on enough be sure to supervise or remove the drawer to avoid hurt toes/etc.However, don't let this keep you from buying this table after a year of use it is still played w/ every single day.One of our best purchases!

Another huge advantage is from what I've read & experienced, this table is MUCH MUCH easier to put together.It doesn't take hours upon hours of frustration.From start to finish it was probably around 45 minutes total.

One caution:I hesitate putting this as I wouldn't want this to be a reason you don't buy it.Try your best not to get the table top wet as it will warp.This is most likely true for any train table you find, but I did want to let you know.UPDATE:with little one's it is impossible to not get the table top wet as children want to put their sippy cups/drinks/snacks on it while their playing.Again, I assume any train table would be this way so it's not a negative to this table specifically I just wanted to let you know so you can try to avoid getting it wet emphasis on the word "try".I just want the table to be enjoyed so I've come to terms that there are going to be spills which will warp/have areas of the table sticker come off.While it might not look as good in some areas, the children don't notice & that is all that matters.This feedback is to let others know to hopefully avoid spills or clean them up right away & to just let the children have fun w/ it as it is for them :-)

I haven't yet received this, but I already know my little guy LOVES it, being that it's near impossible to pull him away from it at his hair salon (barber shop, according to my hubby).

I am so super excited for the grooved tracks, as he tears apart any attempt at creating a track out of his wooden pieces...he's just not quite ready for that yet.

Being a Mommy who is always looking for the best deal, I have to say that this table is a ridiculous price here on Amazon.The exact same table is $199 at Toys R Us.PLUS, right now (for a limited time), there's an additional 20% off and free shipping.I paid $165 total!DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON.

I do love Amazon, my husband says I love it a little too much, but the price difference between the two sites is crazy.

This table is two sided for those who like change. One side is smooth and the other has imbeded train tracks for your kids to run their toy trains in. Very stable as my son like to climb up on it, and also looks great. I recommend though that you buy something to put on the corners as they are pointed and if you have rambunctious kids like I do... well you get the point.

I was highly disappointed when this toy arrived.First of all the prices is way to much for what you get although sealed as if it was new, one of the bottle food jars came without a lid and all the stickers assembled were crooked and overlapping.It was very poorly put together and missing pieces.The picture makes the pieces look like higher quality and larger than actual scale.I do not recommend purchasing this product unless the price is dropped significantly.

I looked at this set on here and shied away from it due to other reviews.I went in to Toys R Us today to look at another set, and this one was on the shelf for $12 (regular price, so buy it there instead of here!).The things included were slightly different, but still functional.At least you can see what's in it if you buy it in person.I got it because my 16 month old daughter is potty training right now, and I wanted her to have a potty for her doll and stuffed animals.This one is the perfect size and is very realistic.She even sat on it a few times, lol!I would definitely recommend this product to any one that wants some doll accessories.

My 3 year old received this for her b-day.She already has a You&Me doll that she loves to play with.I thought this would be good for her since she is about to become a big sister I'm expecting a baby in 2 months.Its too soon to say how durable the toys will be but she loves playing with them.She's always feeding the baby, warming up the baby's milk, changing the diaper, etc. She especially loves the pacifier.I also bought the complete set containing the doll, stroller, car seat, and playpen which I also recommend.Now she has a doll and I have a doll and we play together and share all the accessories.I only paid about $50 for both items.A great bargain!

I took a chance on this package as I had read quite a few negative reviews that stated the quality was terrible.My package arrived and I have been really pleased with it.I had hoped for the bottle warmer (but didn't get one) but knew from other reviewers that you don't get exactly what is pictured.All the tubs and bottles have removable lids, great for a 3.5 year old to practice their dexterity, no stickers but painted/stamped on labels that are central.Our teddy is cute.The only grotty bit we received is a cheap as chips looking yellow plastic duck.I threw it away as it was really crappy looking.Ovherall we are pleased with our lot and feel it was worth what we paid for it. FYI Do price check with Toys R US though as they also stock this package and are sometimes cheaper.

These cards make me wonder what colleges in America are really like. Contrary to what the majority of this cube thinks, college is not always about furtive dating, ballistic drunkenness, or the time of day of our classes. I was expecting for these cards to be good ice breakers, and to remind us of some really good memories or exciting stories. But at least half the cards could be responded to with a 'Uhh, nope' or a similar sparse answer. Waste of money.

Thought might make good conversation starters for my college bound child.That didn't end up being the case.It was labeled boring and I basically spent money for nothing.

Disney Tangled Rapunzel Enchanted Vanity

I was looking to buy a vanity for my niece when I saw this.When it arrived at my house it turns out that it was a doll vanity.There was nothing saying that it was for a doll or a child.I was looking for a child size vanity and this was not it.Very Deserving.

I purchased this vanity for my daughter for Christmas. I thought it was for the Barbie-sized dolls, but it is actually for the baby doll sized dolls. My daughter still enjoys playing with it with her Barbies though, so it worked out in the end!

I chose this rating because the gift didn't do much for myself or my daughter.

It had some noises that were interesting. But it was much smaller than I hoped. She wasn't interested. My daughter is almost 5 and she played with this for a few moments and went to the next toy. I bought it on sale so it was worth the price, but I wouldn't have paid the full 50 dollars.

I homeschool my kids and needed a chair that would stand up to everyday use by young children.This chair turned out to be exactly what I needed, an all-purpose school chair.It's very durable, cleans up easily, and is made of tough molded plastic that will not bend.The 14" size is recommended for children ages 6-9 years old, but I found that I can very easily sit in this chair myself and share a spot at the table with the kids.

The 14" height is measured from the floor to the top of the seat.The back height is just under a foot above the seat.The back has a slight arc to it to make it more comfortable.I also ordered the 12" chair for my younger child and I have no problem stacking them together even though they're different sizes.They only weigh a few pounds so moving them around is very easy for the kids to do.
