Delta Enterprise Sesame Street Activity Table And Chair Set

This item was purchased for our daughter's second birthday. After reviewing several other products, I chose this one based on customer reviews and, of course, price. Expecting at least decent quality craftsmanship, I was blown away by the quality of this product.

The frames, although flimsy in appearance, are shockingly sturdy. We've had our daughter whom is roughly 30 pounds and our niece, whom is equal in weight, on top of the table simultaneously without wobbling. My daughter insisted that I have "dinner" with her at the table immediately after setting it up. The chairs held me without any signs of strain, and I weigh in at about 200 pounds.

This set has a durable, high-gloss finish that is perfect for children; markers, paint, and other crafts are no match for the resilience of the finish. Additionally, the seats and tabletop are under-padded with a thin layer of foam. It's just enough padding to allow comfortable resting of arms and buttocks (table and chairs respectively) while remaining solid enough to prevent pencils and pens from penetrating papers that are being written upon.

Setup was a breeze, as the chairs are of the folding style (with safety locks), and the table's legs are of a similar style (also with safety locks). I honestly believe that when my daughter outgrows this set, it will be in nearly as good of condition as it is now. Also, our daughter *loves* this set and insists that it remain in the living room as she uses it to eat, play, craft, build, etc.

This product is *highly* recommended for parents looking for a table set for their kids. You simply *will not* be disappointed.

Very cheaply made, hard to unfold; not very sturdy at all.The legs to the table were going in different directions.

We use it for craft time, reading time, learning time, eating time, you name it.Its easy to clean and sturdy. The little chairs are strong enough for even me to sit down with him.I just gave it 3 stars because it is not very easy to fold and put away. Gets stuck and I really have to struggle with it. But if you dont plan to fold it and put it away often, its a good buy!

This is a nice, sturdy table for young kids.The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is that the printed pieces are vinyl and lightly padded.This is great for the chairs, but I'm pretty sure the table top will be damaged/torn once the scissors and play dough cutters are used.
