Gund Alfie Bear 60 inches

Nice bear to add to the collection. Big and huggable. The real problem is Gund's quality has gone down hill the last two or so years. The fur is not as soft as I would expect and the bear is not stuffed the way a Gund should be. It seems lumpy and not as squishy. I have the smaller Alfie (19") that is older and the stuffing and fur is much nicer.

I don't think the bear is going to be as durable. (like the 20 plus year old Gund bears in the collection) There are 2 small holes in the seam. No big deal but if the bear is going to see some rough play this might be a problem.

Over all a nice bear with a good face. The stock picture does not do justice. Will make a huge impact and a good display if you are looking for a very large Teddy Bear.

Only 3 stars because the quality is not what I would expect from Gund.
