Pathfinder Battles: Lizardfolk Champion - Heroes and Monsters

Pathfinder Battles: Lizardfolk Champion - Heroes and MonstersSince I was playing a lizardfolk character (starting with the Beginner Box, which doesn't have a lizardfolk pawn), I decided to get this to use in game. It's served me pretty well, but it's not perfect.

The first thing that struck me is how detailed the paint job and sculpt are. The way his (or her) tail twists behind him, the scales on his arms...very well done. The pose is less impressive, as (as several reviewers have pointed out) he's holding the trident the wrong way to do damage with it. Also, the blue lips are a little too bright, and bring to mind Damodar from the D&D movie.

The main problem I have with it is that it feels a little too fragile. This is a very skinny lizard man, and I'm always concerned I might break him by mistake; unlike some of the miniatures I've seen that have stockier sculpts. In fact, when I got him, his leg had disconnected from the base, but it's nothing that careful use of superglue won't fix.

In my case, this was just the right mini to fit the niche I had (though I would have preferred a 'normal' lizardfolk to the Champion). For the price, the quality is nice, and the few shortcomings didn't break the deal for me.
