Thomas the Train: TrackMaster R/C Percy

Thomas the Train: TrackMaster R/C PercyMy boys (age two and three) like this train to use on their track master sets. The remote plays the Thomas theme song and a chugging train noise that my sons love hitting the buttons to play. Unfortunately it is very loud and there are no controls to lower the sound. I will be taping the speakers soon on these toys, and I am not typically annoyed by toy sounds. The boys however love it!

This toy is VERY durable.I have twin 2 year old boys, and I needed another train to go with the train set I bought. The train set didn't hold up, but this train did.It can go forwards, backward, play music, and if you don't want to listen to the rest of the song, just press the music button again and it will stop.We have had this toy for a month, and it is still going strong!

My boys are delighted with this train. It seems sturdy and well-made, though I'm sure they'll succeed in breaking it eventually.

I would add two caveats: 1) this train takes six AAA batteries, three for the train and three for the controller. I didn't realize it took so many and the price in batteries is probably going to add up, although we'll see how long they last. 2) I somehow missed the fact that these are pretty loud. It makes a chugging sound every time you move the handle, and there's a whistle button and a theme song button on the handle. The flip side is that the kids will take the controllers in the car and play away, even without the trains, while driving, but they're too noisy to take into most stores. Not deafening or wildly annoying, just "take it in the other room while I'm watching TV and folding laundry" loud.

Unexpected plus: the trains are designed for tracks but do just fine on a hard floor or a low-pile rug. I would definitely recommend these toys to any things-that-go obsessed child (or parent who wants a break!).

**Note** We've had these trains for over a year now and I'm still happy with them. They move slowly enough that they haven't been subjected to the usual repeated banging into walls that disables all my kids' other R/C toys within a week of purchase. The trains do gulp batteries, but the main problem is making sure the kids turn them off when they're not in use. Mine will play with them for a few days and then forget about them for a few weeks, so I tend to change the batteries at those intervals.

So far, it seems very durable, my son loves these trains and they work well. The batteries do run out rather quickly with a lot of use though.

My 3 year old son has autism. He often looks for things to visually stimulate himself. I purchased the Tidsmuth Station set with four additional trains and he loves it. We spend much time together watching and learning colors, names, use of remote controls, and many other things. This is a great toy. The Tidsmuth stations has been bashed for breaking easily, but ours seems to be fine. If you let your children have at it, it will break, but that's not how this toy should be used. Spend time with your kids and this is an excellent experience.

24 -Rubber Neon Monkey Bracelets - Party Favors

24 -Rubber Neon Monkey Bracelets - Party FavorsMy cat came across a similar rubber bracelet and would play with it by himself for extended periods of time, tossing it up in the air by his teeth and then trying to catch it...so cute! However, he does go through them rather quickly, so I bought this bundle from Amazon. Can't beat this price for a toy my cat will actually use!

i ordered this as a party favor for my daughter's birth day party and these are soo pretty that all the kids loved them...they are verycolorful and fun.

Step2 Fantasy Vanity

Step2 Fantasy VanityMy three year old loves this set.She can actually see herself in the mirror unlike her old one. She loves to sit and put

make up on herself and her dolls. The top of the stool comes off and can be used for storage. It is a much sturdier table than I thought as her old one wobbled. And this is the best thing of all....I put it together myself!!Did not have to wait for daddy to come home from work!! This set is perfect for a three year old that likes to play make-up!

Last week I bought the Barbie Vanity by Step 2 from TRU(made exactly the same except for the Barbie logo and a sticker or two; everything else is the same.) and my husband and I put it together last night. It took about 20 minutes and wasn't hard at all. You do need to use an electric drill where the instructions suggest. My granddaughter is in the 95th percentile for height and it is perfect for her with plenty of growing room. It's built very sturdy and stable as most Step 2 products are. There are no annoying voices, just a little light above the mirror which shuts off after 5 minutes. Also, there aren't many accessories that come with it, just a comb, brush, and small mirror.I don't mind though because of the higher quality of this vanity. This is a very pretty toy.My granddaughter really liked the Cinderella talking vanity, but after looking at it I thought it was way too small and not built very well.I also liked the fact that this one didn't talk. I did buy some pretend make-up and a little hair dryer that really works(no heat!)to go along with this set.You really can't go wrong with this one.

I have a 5 yr. old who's tall for her age.She had her heart set on a vanity. Most of these plastic ones are too small for her.I found a good-sized wooden one (VERY STURDY) for even less than this one cost.(...)Don't know if they'll post this in the reviews, but I just had to share, in case there's someone with the same situation...

My daughter received this for Christmas and it is the best thing ever. She is going to be 4 soon and loves to do hair and makeup. This vanity is just the perfect size for her and is very, very sturdy.I looked at the Disney Princess vanity but it seemed so small and her legs would never fit underneath it.I would recommend this vanity over any other for your little girl.

Melissa & Doug Telling Time Write-a-Mat

Melissa & Doug Telling Time Write-a-MatCustomers who are considering this item need to know that you receive SIX "Telling Time Write-A-Mat" placemats, not just one.I reviewed the description, and nowhere does it say that you receive a package of six, as opposed to just one mat.I plan to give five of them away to the teachers at my grandson's elementary school; I love the Melissa & Doug placemats because you can use either the crayons designed for the mats, or a pencil.

My First LeapPad Learning System - Blue

My First LeapPad Learning System - BlueI know there has been much written about this product, but I also want to stress how great this toy is.Every time I would go to the toy store with my 1 1/2 year old daughter, she insisted on playing with the LeapPad (the one for ages 4yrs and up).She would scream if I took her away from it.So, for Christmas, I gave her the My First Leappad.I thought I'd give it a try, even though it was recommended for ages 3 and up -well over her age.It is definitely the best product I have ever bought! She is now 2 1/2 years old and it is still one of her absolute favorite toys.We take it every time we travel (air, car, everything!) She is proficient at all of her letters, numbers, shapes, and colors and even though she's done every page of all of the books we have that go with it, she never seems to tire of it.This is a truly great product -educational and fun!I highly highly recommend it -even if your child isn't 3 years old yet!You won't be disappointed!

My 3 year old loves his "My First Leap Pad".It is the only educational toy (I don't consider playing on Daddy's computer a toy) that he plays with.As a matter of fact, it's the only toy that isn't Power Rangers or Bob the Builder that he plays with every day. He's learning how to read because of using this toy, when previously he showed little interest.

However ... I have not been able to find ANY supplemental books for "My First Leap Pad" and that is a MAJOR disappointment ... you may just want to skip the "My First Leap Pad" and plunk down the extra money for regular Leap Pad ... Looks like I'm going to have to ...

We bought the My First LeapPad for our daughter over a year ago for her 3rd birthday. She is still playing with it. It is one of the few toys that have held her attention other than her play kitchen. She takes it everywhere that we go and she even sleeps with it, all this still after an entire year of playing.

The pen that is used with the leap pad did stop working just recently and I called the company and they sent me another one free of charge no questions asked. Thats what I call service. I would recommend this toy to anyone who has small children. In fact I think that we are going to buy her the regular LeapPad for Christmas. The only thing that I don't like is that the My First LeapPad does not have a wide variety of books to choose from.

I debated on whether to get my 3 year old the My First or the original Leap Pad.I went with the My First, but when I received it, I realized that my daughter was way too advanced for most of the material.I really think this is more meant for age 2-3.It is things like, counting from 1-10, learning body parts, colors and shapes. These are things my daughter knew by the age of 3.There are some good things for her age, but I learned that the original leap start has the red books called pre-math, pre-reading and etc. These books are the same level as the My First, so there really is no need to even buy the My First in my opinion.I gave the My First to my 20 month old to play with and bought my three year old the original as I should have done in the first place.

I am writing this review to praise the My First Leap Pad product. The "book" was given to my son for a Christmas gift last year when he was barely 2.Right away my son figured out how to use the pen and how to press the "go" button to start each new activity. It is 8 mos later and this product is still a big hit.My son uses it everyday. He already knows all his ABC's, colors, shapes and we are currently working on phonics. It is wonderful to see his little face light up when he realizes that he has gotten an answer correct.I love this product soo much that I am currently looking for all the new books available.I just can't wait until my child is ready for the next Leap Pad level. This is a product well worth investing in.Like I said my son has used this book EVERYDAY for the past 8 mos, and it has been dropped and tugged on, but is still working fine. One time my son accidently spilled his water on the book and after wiping up the excess water and letting it air dry it was as good as new.Not even a single water stain is visable! My son has also gotten a little curious and tried ripping the books in half, with no success. The books for the My first Leap Pad are just as durable as the holder!! Plus, I have only changed the batteries ONCE in 8mos!!I love this product and plan on buying several to give as gifts!! Leap Frog has out done themselves with this learning tool!Oh, and one more thing, as for the books falling off the main holder, all I can say is that again, my son has used his My First Leap Pad everyday now for the past 8 mos and not once have I seen him struggle to keep the book on the holder.Nor have I had problems with the book falling off, even in the car.

This is a GREAT product for parents wanting to get their toddlers off to a head start!!

Learning Curve 2003 Madeline 8" Poseable Doll Bonus Outfit

Learning Curve 2003 Madeline 8' Poseable Doll Bonus OutfitWhat kind of moron with no children decided to discontinue a popular doll and replace it with an ugly interpretation that looks nothing like the original? Here's Madison Ave. again telling us what we should like, instead of LISTENING TO US.My daughter has a couple of the classic style, and I wanted to get her a couple more, but I'm not buying this garbage.I guess it's off to the auction sites....

This new doll is much different than the older version. We liked the old doll with its style and costumes based on the book.My daughters enjoy the art of the classic books, and thus were not keen on receiving this Madeline. This doll is more glamorous, which is missing the point of brave Madeline who was not a fashion plate. She does have a nice scar, but her long hair and glitzy face makes her look ostentatious and flashy. She is not the young Madeline who worried Miss Clavel. This doll wears a bit too much makeup I guess that would worry Miss Clavel, too.

I have loved the little clothes for the 8 inch Madeline for awhile, but have never been fond of the cartoon look of "classic Madeline". I was thrilled to see a face mold that I believe is cuter and has more personality. In addition to the face mold changes, this new version has arm joints that allow the doll to move her arms up and down as well as side to side. She also has a torso joint that allows her twist her waist from side to side. If you didn't like the old doll, this new doll is a fresh approach, and she can still wear the old classic 8 inch doll clothes.

My sister used to have a lovelly little 8" Madeline doll, which, though some of my friends thought she was freaky, my whole family, particularly my sister, really liked her and thought that she was very sweet and accurat to the book. Unfortunately, we lost the doll at an airport a few weeks ago, and have been unabloe to retrieve it. She would like a new Madaline doll for her birthday, but when confronted with the new version she started to scream, and I can quite understand this as it looks like a pretty pretty mutated alien Barbie with cat's eyes, and nothing like the adorable, quaint little Madeline in the books, who has the round chin, pebble eyes and short hair of the origional doll, which captured her charactor much better. She is an adventurous scruffy, brave schooolgirl, and in not apretty pretty Barbie. Please please bring back the old dolls. You can be sure that we will not buy your yucky new model.

P.s. Madeline in the books wears a little straight dress, not a red wolly jumper and skirt.

Pathfinder Battles: Lizardfolk Champion - Heroes and Monsters

Pathfinder Battles: Lizardfolk Champion - Heroes and MonstersSince I was playing a lizardfolk character (starting with the Beginner Box, which doesn't have a lizardfolk pawn), I decided to get this to use in game. It's served me pretty well, but it's not perfect.

The first thing that struck me is how detailed the paint job and sculpt are. The way his (or her) tail twists behind him, the scales on his arms...very well done. The pose is less impressive, as (as several reviewers have pointed out) he's holding the trident the wrong way to do damage with it. Also, the blue lips are a little too bright, and bring to mind Damodar from the D&D movie.

The main problem I have with it is that it feels a little too fragile. This is a very skinny lizard man, and I'm always concerned I might break him by mistake; unlike some of the miniatures I've seen that have stockier sculpts. In fact, when I got him, his leg had disconnected from the base, but it's nothing that careful use of superglue won't fix.

In my case, this was just the right mini to fit the niche I had (though I would have preferred a 'normal' lizardfolk to the Champion). For the price, the quality is nice, and the few shortcomings didn't break the deal for me.

Step2 Deluxe Canyon Road Train & Track Table

Step2 Deluxe Canyon Road Train & Track TableWe purchased this for my 2 year old son.He absolutely loves this table. He had gotten some wooden tracks and everytime someone would set them up for him he would tear them all apart and we would spend the next 1/2 hour searching for them all just a nightmare! The best thing about this is everything is connected no mess to clean up.My son has some wooden Thomas trains and some Play Along Thomas trains (metal ones) the problem with having the two different kinds of trains is none of the tracks would be compatible for both sets however this table really has no tracks only roads with stickers that look like tracks making it virtually possible to fit any small vehicle including hot wheels. My son has spent numerous hours everyday playing with this. The only time the lid goes on is after he goes to bed when I pick up his toys.I like that now I can store all his 50 some Thomas trains inside. Harold the Helicopter even has his own sticker landing pad. This was very easy to put together took at the most 10 minutes. The hardest part was my 2 year old son was standing next to me and when I was trying to put the decals on and was having the trains race at the same time. This table set has one bad thing and that is the little train and cars that came with my table were very cheap and arrived with wheels broken off one and a little windshield broken off of another this could create a choking hazard for little ones. I threw them all away! I did get a pamphlet to register my product with Step 2 and when I went to their website I found that this toy was rated one of the top 5 pre-school toys of 2005 by the Today Show! One more thing I want to mention is I did purchase it through this website it says on product info that it usually ships within 2-3 days well it took over a week to ship! It took 2 weeks from date of purchase until it arrived so if you are buying this for an event where you will need it by a certain date I would recommend purchasing it ahead of time.

For the price the value is EXCELLENT. You are getting a table with the tracks attached so no pieces to lose! You can put the cover on and instant art table. Hot wheels and the smaller Thomas trains fit on it too. My son loves it and so do all the kids who come over to play. My son climbs on it and he is large for his age so I know it is extremely durable (as are most Step 2 items. I highly recommend this table.

I dont usually write reviews but this toy is so great that i thought i would.i know that buying a train table is a big purchase and i just wanted to let everyone know that this one is perfect. We just bought ours yesterday and my little guy hasnt stopped playing with it!I love that the tracks are in place. We bought wooden track at first and he just took it apart. Also, it comes with great little cars and a 3 piece train.Another good thing is that if you already have wooden track or want to eventually buy some you can just put the top on the table and set up your wooden track there.Overall this is 5 stars by far-great value, grows with your child, sturdy and fun!

My son who just turned two loves thomas the train and all of the little train table at the toy store. However most of them come apart, pieces will get lost and if the tracks are not in place it sort of defeats the purpose of the table. This table is wonderful for that. The pieces are all together so that it is perfect for the little ones. The table says for 3 and up. I am not sure why. This table is perfect for my two year old. I guess they think a younger child might try to swallow pieces of the little cars/trains that come with it. But my child has been over putting things in his mouth that are not edible for over a year. So I would recommend this table to anyone whos child loves trains and doesn eat small things! The only downfall to this table is putting all the stickers on. It is a PAIN. I am not a perfectionist though so I dont really mind a few bubbles and ripples here and there. (Neither does my son Aiden) Buf if you do, it will drive you nuts. It is impossible to get the stickers to fit perfectly. Overall great, durable, fun table!

Let my 2 yr old son open a present early this year and it was this one. I'm glad it was early because it was missing the bridges, vehicles and screws for the legs. I should be receiving them from Step 2 in a week or so. The stickers are a little hard to put on and they don't seem like they will stay on long because they seem to be coming off already...after 2 days. I do like this item because my so gets frustrated with interlocking roadways and train tracks when they fall apart. I think all in all this is a great item for toddlers. Even my 7 yr old daughter plays with it.

Crayola Color Twister

Crayola Color TwisterThis arrived today and I think I was as excited as my 6-year-old daughter. Spin art was one of my favorite activities as a kid and this is a blast.

I took it out of the box and was so happy to find that there were NO batteries needed, you simply push the "plunger" down and control the speed yourself.

It comes with 3 bottles of paint, and 10 round discs. The paint goes A LONG way.We did 10 paintings today and you can barely tell we used the paint. It is also washable, came off the table and hands super easily.

The discs are thick, but we made more out of construction paper using the disc as a template as suggested in the instructions and they worked just as well.

This will be a super fun activity for my daughter to do with her friends and no fighting as one can spin and the other can paint.

My only complaint is that one side of the platform you put the disc on is hard to get the disc tucked under, slightly defective. It really isn't a problem though so I won't bother sending it back.

Nice work Crayola.

The Crayola Color Twister does what the other paint spinners do but what I didn't realize when I bought it was that it isn't battery operated it's manual.

I like that because it's environmentally friendly, you never have to replace batteries, and you don't have to worry about the kids leaving it on when they're done playing with it.

There's a big button that you push to set it spinning. It does the job quite nicely, but it was too hard for my 5-year-old grandson to press. So the adults did that job while he placed the paint on the disk.

It should be noted that the button was designed with an imprinted swirl design that will make your palm quite sore after a few presses. In this case fashion interferes with function. :p

I got this on Amazon when it was only $4 about 2 weeks ago, and now they don't even sell it anymore, so go find it in your local retailer before paying non-Amazon sellers' ridiculous prices.

So about the toy!

It's so much fun for kids and I even made one and had a good time!

No electricity is required and you don't even need to CONSTANTLY press down on it.

We used it during a blackout and it was fun!

For kids to create something themselves using only drops of paint and their hands enables them to be proud of it, unlike e-Coloring pages, etc. in today's world.

I would definitely recommend this toy for all ages!

1 STAR EDIT: CRAYOLA SENT ME AN EMAIL THAT THEY DO NOT OFFER PRODUCT REFILLS.THAT IS BAD.THIS ONLY COMES WITH 10 DISKS.YOU CAN USE THOSE IN ABOUT AN HOUR.SO WHEN YOU ARE DECIDING TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, THINK ABOUT THE PRICE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR OF FUN.HOPE THAT HELPS...

MY ORIGINAL 4 STAR REVIEW:

Let me start by saying that we bought this item on sale.Paying Amazon's full price would probably make me rate this differently.

The good:

-No batteries It has a hand pump on the side.I just pushed it while we spun.My 6 year old could do it fine. This really is more fun with two people.

-We liked the color mixing properties, and how it showed up when you stopped spinning. It made it really interesting for our Kindergarten science project on Chromotography.

-The toy really does what it says it will...the art looks like it does on the box, and kids can really use it.I am tired of toys that kids can't even use.So frustrating.

The not so good:

-Classic Crayola make something fun, get the kids hooked, and nowhere to find refills on the paper. We have had this problem with a handful of crayola markers.THERE ARE ONLY 10 INSERTS.Short lived toy at only 10 inserts.Again, if I had paid full price I would be mad.

-Advertised price is high.At the sale price I feel like I got my monies worth.Cheaper would have been nicer, but I don't feel ripped off either.

This toy produces lot of fun for kids interested in arts, water color and painting. My daughter used it a lot for 6 months before she decided to move on. Produces lot of "artistic" color paintings. Enjoyable toy.

Wood Spinning Top Toy Game Antique Wooden Vintage Reprodution

Wood Spinning Top Toy Game Antique Wooden Vintage ReprodutionWe have been collecting tops lately because our little kids are obsessed with beyblades and now all things spinning. This top is lovely but I don't really see "dancing" much.It is a bit difficult to figure out how to spin it, it has to be spun softly for the top to spin with the "person" upright. It is pretty and fun, but I guess I was hoping for more out of it.Overall, we love the looks of it, but it doesn't seem to get much action compared to other tops that are easier for little kids to maneuver (pull string wooden tops or small wood tops with little straight handles).Ideal for kids 8-108.

LEGO Green Building Plate (10" x 10")

LEGO Green Building PlateMy son has at least four of these boards, and he uses them all the time.I agree with the reviewer from Virginia that these should be included withevery major set because the Legos do fall apart when they have to betransported from one place to another.I also think the boards aresomewhat expensive, but at least they're sturdy and you can connect themwith Lego blocks to build bigger scenes.

Honestly, I found these plates a LOT cheaper in my local meijer's store, plus they were on sale to boot. That said, you really can't do without these baseplates if your child is going to build anything with legos. It's a bunch of fun anyway, seeing how high you can make towers, which is impossible to do without one of these. They should include these in the sets and how about different colors too?Gray and green get a little boring. You really can't use those colors when you're pretending to be out in the desert with your big army tanks, now can you?Sure wish I could find one of those big legos tables if anyone sees one, please let me know. They would be an even better investment over these baseplates.

Buy LEGO Green Building Plate (10" x 10") Now

These baseplates are important if your little one likes to build structures with Legos.I'd recommend attaching them to a board (I wood-glued 6 of them to a board, added some molding, and put sliders underneath so I could store the board under beds or sofas) so they won't flex.

Otherwise, you'll definitely need to encourage your child to play with these on a table or other hard surface, and warn them that moving their constructions to another spot might result in the creations coming apart.

My daughter and I have found the 15X15" baseplate a better size to make our structures on.If Lego would market an even huger one, my heart would be content!

Want LEGO Green Building Plate (10" x 10") Discount?

I had a ton of Legos as a kid (who didn't?), passed down from family members and friends so it was a mish-mash of whatever was available in the 70s.Today's Legos are very neat in that they come in lots of great colors and there are so many fun sets out there with unique pieces to play with.My kids and I love them!

The base plates, however, are a huge disappointment.First they're not included with most sets, which just seems stupid to me (especially the complex kits that are so $$ to begin with!).I finally ponied up to get a few in various sizes for my kids and I'm surprised at how flimsy they are!I remember the base plates being thick the edges were nearly the same depth as your standard Lego brick and most importantly they were rigid.I have many memories of stepping on the corners of these things with bare feet, ouch! But I'll tell you what, those base plates wouldn't flex and shatter your creation into a million pieces, either. The larger base plates are the worst my kids like to play with their Legos in the living room where we've got a rug on the floor and my youngest (who is 3) has a hard time getting bricks to stick flat as every time she pushes down the entire thing warps inward.I try to encourage them to build on the hardwood or on a table but they prefer the rug (it is Winter, who wouldn't).Anyway I just think that the base plates, especially at $5-$7 for a piece of molded plastic, should be the same quality they were thirty years ago and stand up to a lot of play.

Butterfly ITTF Aproved 3-Star 40mm Table Tennis Balls (12-Pack)

Butterfly ITTF Aproved 3-Star 40mm Table Tennis BallsI love these table tennis balls. We play quite a bit at work and these have just enough texture that they spin really well.

I bought 2 packs of these balls. They are high quality and seem to have a good weight and consistency to them. When playing ping-pong with my friend we notice we can get better spin out of these balls compared to another 3 star brand we have been using. It is also easier to read the spin on the balls due to the black and red logo on them contrasting with the white ball.

We also play scar ball with these balls (eg. best of 3 points, loser has to turn around expose back, winner smashes ball as hard as he can at his back). We are in our 20's and smash these balls as hard as we can. The balls can take a real beating and none of them have ever cracked like another brand we used to play with.

I recommend these balls to someone who wants high quality consistent balls that aren't going to give you any trouble at all.

I can really tell a difference in these balls compared to the ones I bought at Dicks Sports. This has more bounce and grips better to the paddle for those special spin moves. The lifespan per ball seems to last a good while. I am a hobby player and probably play couple of times a week with family and friends. I would get these for any hobby player.

I've played lots of table tennis over many years in the basement at work during lunch hour. We've tried many different table tennis balls. We like the Butterfly 40 3-Star, but we unnamously keep coming back to the orange Nittaku 40 3-Star as our favorite. The Nittaku is very tough and durable, even when the balls hit the concrete walls. It seems to wear better, it "flies" good, is very consistent, and seems to have a better "feel" than the Butterfly. The Nittaku 40 Super Training Balls (often bought in bulk, lower price) are also excellent for both play and practice. And for any of the different balls that we've used, our color preference is orange, since it shows up better than white against most backgrounds. Nevertheless, both Butterfly and Nittaku are so much better balls than you can find at any sporting goods stores. If you want to get serious about playing table tennis, it is worth it to purchase these more expensive balls than the cheap sporting goods brands, which tend to crack easily and bounce inconsistently.

Airblown Tabletop Birthday Cake

Airblown Tabletop Birthday CakeThis is a great product. It is unexpected by most recipients. I used it to help celebrate my Mom's 90th b'day since I had to take a plane, this was perfect. Strongly recommend for uniqueness and originality. Well done.

I bought this for my daughter's 3rd grade teacher. She likes to celebrate each child's birthday but they cannot use real candles, of course. I thought it was a bit noisy but she says with kids singing it's not a problem. This replaced an old blow-up cake she had for 20+ years, and was falling apart. My daughter said the kids love it.

I expected to be able to float this in a swimming pool.I did not realize it had a fan run on batteries... so that made it impossible to get wet.I'm still looking for something like this that can float!!
