Periodic Table (Illustrated) 1000-Piece Puzzle

Bought this as a gift for our teen who really likes science.We'd rate the puzzle difficulty as medium and graphics as 9 out of 10 (no images for some elements, but that's probably more factual than lack of creativity).Puzzle is liked so much that it's now mounted on her bedroom wall!

This is a great puzzle for getting a complete picture of the periodic table with a great little key to understanding all the symbols and numbers for each element.In order to put the puzzle together, it is almost necessary to pay attention to the small details of each element and thus encourages the builder to learn more about them.

The biggest weakness is the construction of the actual pieces. There are two problems. The first is that the pieces easily come apart. For example, if two pieces are stuck together and you are not very, very careful in taking them apart, you can tear little layers of the pieces apart. The second problem is that many pieces appear to go where they don't actually fit (this can be a help in learning the elements when those pieces actually have information on them you can use to realize you've made a mistake), but other pieces do not and you find yourself going back and taking apart whole sections to unearth one of those pieces that was mistakenly placed.

The Puzzle is the most up to date puzzle of the elements. It is easy to assemble and we found no problems as all the pieces fixed together just right. However, the quality of the puzzle itself is not the highest. The edges can fray off if not handled carefully. Overall the puzzle is good, easy to assemble and educational.
