Train Table

I did quite a bit of shopping around when looking for a train table for my 2-year-old son.While the actual Thomas tables are nice, I couldn't justify paying that kind of money for only the frame ($150 minimum new if you're lucky) and then looking around for a playing surface when MDF is so cheap and easy to come by.I considered building my own based on the big train tables I had seen, but I do not currently have the tools/workspace to do so.So, I started out nixing all the high-end tables (i.e. overpriced) and looked for something tough and economical that would hold together for years of use/abuse by a small boy.
