I purchased a $170 chess piece set and needed a board to go with it (my lack of left over funds got me looking for a bargain with matching quality). I was afraid that this board wouldn't match the rosewood/boxwood set but they go together quite nicely.The board has a really nice feel to it, being both extremely solid and very smooth. I am very happy with my purchase.
