I bought this as a for my D&D wizard to use as a miniature. The staff looks a lot like Gandalf's (the grey) in LotR. The quality of the metal itself is solid, and seems built to last. The detail is also impressive given its small size. Some things that bothered me: It was over 5 days late in getting here, which probably isn't anyone's particular fault. However, the staff was bent in the packaging before I opened it (obviously this is the weakest structural part of the piece). It had a lot of room in the box, so I don't believe it was due to any aggressive postal worker. I find this very unacceptable, and had to heat the metal in order to bend it back to it's original shape.
