I bought this for my niece for her birthday now I need to get one for my son they fight over it constantly. It gives them a place to do their crafts and homework. It is great to bring outside on a nice day to paint, practice writing on the chlk board, or to do a worksheet for school. It is so easy to clean and it is very sturdy. They even use it to sit and watch TV. When my nefews come over they love to use it also. I have purchased two other desks for my kids in the past, this is by far the best for space and versitility.

I have a 3 year old son who has autism.This desk makes it so much easier for his therapists to work with him.It is also very sturdy and appealing to a little one's eye.Plus, you can install the desk top the opposite way for lefties!Trust me, you and your child will love this desk.

This table is fantastic!Words cannot describe how wonderful it is.Well worth the $ we spent on it.I bought it for both of my children who are 3 and 7 for use at their Grandmother's house.They love it.Of course, they fight over who will be able to use it.I may have to buy another! :)Very easy to assemble, very colorful, and very wonderful.You can even assemble it for right or left handers!My mother loved this so much, that she bought two for my brother and his 3 children...one is assembled for their left handed daughter, and the other for their other 2 right handed daughters.The storage spot underneath is great, and the kids love the little tray on the side for their crayons or colored pencils.It even has a cup for crayons, but my children use this as a drink holder.It's great.I would recommend this to all.

My father bought this desk for my son's 3rd birthday last year. He eats at it, colors on it, sits at it to watch tv, etc. It gets use every single day. My now almost 2 year old daughter uses it also for the same things. They've gotten to where they BOTH want it at the same time so we're going to have to get another one. It's great b/c it easily fits almost anywhere, is very sturdy, and very attractive. We get compliments on it everytime people come over. You can't go wrong with this desk!!!!

I had researched a lot of different desk products by Alex and decided on this one, primarily because of the other reviews I had read which rated it very highly. I'm glad that I did.

My 20 month old got this for Christmas and has used it almost every day since. It is sturdy, attractive and versatile! It is also very easy to assemble.

The reasons I did not give this item 5 stars are:

1. The desk is made from pressboard/particle board no suprise, but a couple of the main pieces arrived with corners that were damaged. It didn't effect its fuctionality, however, I would have prefered, of course, if it wasn't damaged in any way.

2. The canvas bag that hangs on the back of the chair is very thin and doesn't hold much. Also, the way that it is sewn makes it difficult to get into because of the tension.

3. I sort of wish that the under-chair shelf had a back on it so that the items placed on it couldn't get pushed out the back and just end up on the floor.

Other than the above mentioned issues, we really love this desk and would recommend its purchase to any one who has a toddler!
