American Plastic Toy Adirondack Chair Blue

I bought two of these for my daughters, ages 2.5 and nearly 1, so they could have "their own" chairs out on the deck and I wouldn't have to worry about them falling off a standard chair when we were enjoying the back yard. Both girls LOVE these chairs. My 2.5 yr old enthusiastically carried hers everywhere for the better part of a week (like, she would sit in it and then get up, holding it by the arms with her tush still touching the seat as though the chair were a newly grown tail), and in the month since we bought it, she still sits in it often. My nearly 1-year old was a little uncertain at first but now is able to climb in and out of the chair by herself (with supervision; see next comment); it's the perfect size for her (she's average height/weight). The chair is lower to the ground than I anticipated -maybe 8" -so my older daughter will probably grow out of hers after just a year, which is a little disappointing, but I don't worry about my younger daughter tipping it over while simply sitting, which is a relief. The only downside to this chair is that it is extremely lightweight; any child who's little enough to need to climb onto the seat face first and then turn around to sit properly will need the chair to be stabilized by a watchful adult/older child so the chair doesn't tip backwards or sideways when the child is seating herself. Same goes for a little one reaching far over the arm (say, to pick up a toy from the floor). But for this very economical price (about ten smackeroos), I can't really complain.

I bought this chair for my 4 yr old son, the exact same chair, for $4.96 at Walmart. Someone is trying to rip people off selling it for this much. Don't buy it! Go to Walmart instead!

Good quality, solid chairs. However, the seller did NOT ship them as rapidly as I paid for and arrived too late for the intended purpose of my purchase. So, since I had to purchase a set at the local brick and mortar store to meet my deadline...I returned these for a refund.

Very cute chair our son is just learning to sit and so this is a good option for him as it slightly leans back, so he won't topple forward. Also, with the curved front, it's easy for him to slide out to a standing position. Very cute for the deck this summer!
