This is a cheap plastic "loupe" that did not work. The light flickered on and off........then went out. Its cheap plastic. I threw it out. Money wasted.

I purchased this loupe as well as the typical loupes without any light.Our favorite hands down is this loupe with the bright LED light.We use the light at times when it is not necessarily needed but sometimes we find additional information or see detail that would have not been seen without the light. Great Product!

Recently received this loupe and it seems to be working very well.I can't say it's quality construction, because it is all plastic and somewhat delicate and seems pricey for what you get.But it's a nice size and the light is very bright.Because of the positioning of the light, this is meant to be hand held, rather than setting it down flat on the object (stamp, coin, etc.).They had identical ones on Ebay for less than $2.00, but the batteries weren't included.This loupe does the job.
