Just got my new MK racket in and it is perfect for beginners.I have a much more expensive racket that I use but needed another one for my co-workers to use when we play.For the price you can't beat this racket.The rubber is very nice quality and allows for good control.The weight is a little light but I probably wouldn't even notice if it wasn't for my other paddle.I would recommend this paddle to anyone who is starting out and looking for thier first racket upgrade.Don't waste your time and money on any generic off the shelf $5 rackets.You will definitely get more than you pay for with this racket.The case and balls are just added bonuses with this set.I have actually purchased another MK case for my nicer paddle.

This product I purchased from amazon is really nice. The bat has a 100% speed rating on the MK website in collaboration with Butterfly for NA. The spin is a bit less but that can be rectified if you are just learning to play. Nice material overall and generally a nice touch! The 3 star balls which come alongwith are also a pleasure to play.

I bought this set to start learning and given that the cover itself costs $8 odd...it seems a perfect bargain for abt $20. Go for it!!!

The best bang for buck on Amazon for a paddle.I own two of these and just ordered two more. When they arrive everyone can play at any table we visit.

If you think that you might want to go cheaper than this, don't. Learn to play on pips in on both sides from the start and start rockin it.Again, the quality of these is high performance!Just keep the plastic sheets that the paddle comes with and replace after play. The rubber will last! The high quality 3 stars are awesome as well.

This racquet has allowed me to switch from penhold to shakehand in a matter of weeks. I now kill all my penhold counterparts. Also, because of my increase in performance with the competition, this paddle has also increased my offhand skills, switching racquet hands. GET IT!
