I ordered this chair set because I liked the colors, good for boy or girl and because I thought they were solid wood, but upon assembly I discovered that the seat of the chairs is manufactured wood. The manufactured wood part I am not happy with, from the online description I believed them to be solid wood. Therefore, anyone hoping to find a solid wood chair set, this is not it. Besides that, I do like the colors and have not had any problems with them being too flimsy or anything.
We ordered these to go with the table and chair set we bought a few months ago, so now we have four chairs.We are very pleased with the quality of the set, especially for the price as compared to some other sets we looked at, and it works equally well as an art table or for toddlers to eat together.Some of the paint has chipped off of the red chair, but that could be because that's the one she uses most and she can be a bit rough.
