Replogle Globes Cranbrook Globe, Antique Ocean, 12-Inch Diameter

I purchased this globe because I liked the way it looked in the picture.I read some of the reviews on globes made by this company, and some buyers indicated that the latitude/longitude lines didn't line up correctly when the outer surface of the globe was attached to the globe. When I opened the box and inspected the globe, I discovered that the map surface did not line up properly in several locations at the equator.The mis-alignment was very obvious, and I can't understand how this globe could have left the manufaturer in that condition.I returned the globe for a refund, and will not buy another product from this vendor.

I really thought I did my research in purchasing a globe and the picture looked lovely. Unfortunately, when I opened it up the two halves of the globe were poorly put together. The joint was very obviously and to me, it just didn't look right.
