The green "field" board is pretty thin, so be careful not to put any extra pressure on it other than the soccer balls it's intended to roll around.I can see that the rods may get bent if you're not careful, though I think it make take a bit of roughness to do that.
Also, the assembled foosball game is fairly light. My husband and I played a couple of games to test it out, and we ended up having to be careful not to lift up our side of the game! Haha.So I'm not sure how two 6 year-olds will fare.I'll have to let my niece know not to lift it up or bang it back down in the heat of battle.
Overall though, my husband and I had a lot of fun with this. It's definitely light enough to carry around to parties if you wanted to.And my husband and I played on our carpet floor instead of on a table, and that worked fine.Though that may also be part of the reason that we ended up lifting up the board on accident a few times trying to to hit the ball.If I find that it doesn't last up to the playing of my niece and cousin, I'll update this review.
I offered do my grand-son in 4 year day. Difficult to ensemble. Good value for price and as first soccer game.

Great fun for about an hour. Then one of the rods broke, because it was made of cheap metal. Could have suspected this would happen, because the generally poor quality of the parts had made assembly a hassle (pieces didn't fit together well).Read Best Reviews of 20" Mini Tabletop Foosball Soccer Table Game Here
Bought the table last year for Christmas and it lasted 4 days being played by 5 and 6 year old.The rods controlling the players are really thin and easily bent.Once a rod is slightly bent it will not slide back and forth for control making the whole thing useless. The makers of this item market it several brands. It is absolute junk. The manufacturers and marketers should be ashamed of the build quality of it. I can't imagine anyone would sell it with a return policy or satisfaction guarantee. I have assembled a lot of cheap Chinese-made junk in my life but this item wins the poorest made hands down.
