This table was a Christmas present for my 6 and 3 year old. They love it!The table itself if fairly sturdy. The whole thing is all wood. The only part that I had trouble with were the stool legs. They didn't fit perfectly but I was able to get them adjusted tightly nonetheless.
The storage boxes that come with the unit look a bit cheesy as they are plain white and a bit shallow. We picked up some dark brown and tan boxes from Target that look great. It's a great place to store all the art supplies, crayons, etc. for the kids.
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and several of my friends have commented on how much they liked it as well.
This artist table is wonderful!! My kids love the chairs, and all the shelves and cubby spacing for all their pencils, crayons, etc.My daughter loves coming home from school and going straight to her desk to color.The only negative would be to be careful to inspect the desk when it arrives because ours came with the cardboard box beaten up a little bit but we were lucky and found no damage to the desk pieces when we opened everything and looked.This unit looks just like it's pictured. The stools are small, but my girls don't mind that they're not chairs. It's also a great height for my girls to stand and draw. Having the paper always available is great, because I don't have to constantly replace single sheets. The storage bins are a little flimsy and thin, but they serve their purpose well. We did have a little trouble with assembly because the holes were not properly aligned for a couple screws, but my husband, who is quite handy, was able to make it work. We're definitely pleased with our choice, having searched a long time for the right unit.

This table is great quality (except for the storage bins that come with it.) It was easy to put together and looks great... I even put it in my living room the color fits great. I like all of the storage for art supplies and the paper roll for drawing and coloring. Maxim Enterprise Inc Roundhouse Turntable Combo
Nice addition to wooden train sets. I priced several turntables and this was by far the best price. It is durable and most of all my son loves it.
Every train table needs a roundhouse. This is not the most fancy of them but it's big, comes with a turntable, and when I bought it years ago, it was a very reasonably priced alternative to Thomas.
Even today, it's features can't be scoffed at. It's got painted sides, doors, room for 5 engines, 3 superstructures over the roof and an open back for easy access. I've never regretted buying this one. If you can get it at a good price, go for it!

3M Disinfecting Desk and Office Cleaning Wipes, 25-Count (CL564)

The active ingredient for these wipes are various kinds of Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride which seems to be a reasonably effective anti-bacterial agent.It's powerful enough biocide that they recommend washing your hands with soap and water after using these wipes.It won't eat your skin off but you don't want to transfer any residual amounts to your eyes!
That being the case, I wouldn't recommend it for home use.You could see lots of uses for this in the kitchen HOWEVER the instructions say that any surface you clean with this should be washed off if it will come into contact with food.Well, if you're going to wash it off they why bother with these wipes?Also, I wouldn't let kids near this stuff (the wipes.It's ok to let kids use things you clean with the wipes.Note that they say things that come in contact with food should be washed off therefore things kids put in their mouths should be washed off as well)
Tested it on telephones and a keyboard.Cleaned up nasty looking gunk right away and left the surfaces looking good.In a office with lots of phones, keyboards and other things that get handled a lot I think this would work fine.Around the home, how many times do you need to clean the phones?Not that often so that's another reason I don't recommend it for the home.
Did not test it on smartphone displays since I don't have one.That would be seem to be an obvious use but I don't know if the active ingredient would hurt the display.
BTW, I do see that it says "Office Wipes" right in the product title.I kept mentioning the home angle to point out why it could be an issue if you used it outside the office.

()While this product does a good job at cleaning up and disinfecting, it was very difficult to get that first piece out of the middle of the rolled up wipes and then thread it through the top.
On top of it all, it has a very strong disinfectant smell.I suppose you would expect that from disinfectant wipes, but really, it is strong.Stronger than other products i have used.
If both of those things don't concern you then you will enjoy using the product.The wipes are strong and do the job.

()The usefulness of this product depends on the user therefore the review cannot be universally applied. Overall it is a good product, but the question is do we really need separate wipes for office items?
1. The wipe does clean well and it is not as water-ly as other wipes. And this is a good thing, if you are cleaning electronics or computers. And it leaves a fresh scent not too strong, so it is pleasant.
2. I used it on my laptop, desktop, monitor, TV, and desk. It does clean well overall. I was worried that it may leave a streak on the TV, monitor, and laptop screen, and I was relieved to see that the streak is barely visible. If you are cautious, my friend who is a computer technician said, simply use a tissue (not lotioned ones) with water. Wet the tissue with a little water and wipe it, then dry it with another tissue.
3. Since it is Anti-bacterial disinfectant, it adds another benefit more so, if you are in the office where many items are shared or touched by coworkers.
4. But the product is expensive. So the question is not whether the item is good, the question is do I really need it when I am able to clean the office electronics with other means.
Overall, it does what it claims. But whether you should purchase it or not, is up to your preference.

()Each sheet is about the same size as a baby wipe, and does a good job at its intended use, a dust wipe with disinfecting capabilities.Doesnt smell like you've opened a cleaning product when using it, which is important when in a dense cubicle environment.
I use it to clean my desktop and my phone handset... never know who may borrow that when you are not around....
The biggest downside is the packaging.It would be nice if it wasn't this bright obvious cleaning product, but would be less eye catching...and i could leave it on the corner of the desk where it's ready and handy...

Everyone asks to play again and again! I make my six year old take his own score and his math skills have skyrocketed. We now play to 10,000 points. Even grown ups ask us to get this one out when they come over.One day I was just thinking of some games I played as a kid and I recalled this game.On a whim I did a search and low and behold I found it on amazon.com.Thank you amazon for carrying this.Yes, this game is fun.It is almost exactly like when I was a kid.You have to be able to judge how to push your pieces and then try and get a higher score than the other player.You can knock theirs off the board or even accidentally give them a higher score.The one differenc is how the unit is put together.As a kid my game was a solid piece.This newer version is in two pieces.You just have to make sure you put the pieces together correctly and that they are level.It works fine.I have two of these games and the kids love them, especially my daughter who thinks it is a riot to knock my pieces off the scoring table.As long as you understand when you buy the game that it is in two pieces you will not be disappointed.

It's a pretty simple game, so you'd think there's not much that could go wrong. The main yellow base of the game is two separate pieces that slide/snap together to form the "runway". Well, they don't fit together well enough to create a smooth sliding surface. It's a big deal because the whole point of the game is sliding a puck over a smooth surface. As it is, there's a bump in the road. Not cool. It also appears that there should be some rubber feet on the bottom, but there aren't.

Basic Fun Fisher Price Record Player
My parents still have my 30 year old music box record player and it still works great -so we were pleased when someone gave us this new "classic" version as a gift for our boys.It does have a similar look and feel, but if you really want the original be warned that this is not the same toy.Engineering analysis follows below.As a toy though, the kids love it and it is reasonably durable.They will need help operating it when younger but it does give them that sense of tactile control of the music that the original was renowned for.I was perplexed as to why this needed batteries and why the discs looked different than I remembered though, so I took a closer look yesterday at it:
The original player had a real music box in the record player "head", and the bumps on the discs would strike the teeth of the music box, producing the notes, which echoed in the box chamber.The discs turned via manual wind-up.A brilliant re-imagining of the music box in a record player format, not unlike a real record player in how it worked, and a highly cherished toy.
Evidently someone realized that it was far less expensive to use a 25 cent memory chip and a speaker instead of all those mechanical parts (study though they were), so the new player works as follows:
The record head has four pressable buttons which line up with four ridge positions on the discs
Each disc no longer has "bumps" for notes, but instead simply has a combination of four continuous ridges
The memory chip identifies which disc is being played by the ridges depressing the buttons
The wind-up still turns the disc manually, but all it does is tell the speaker to play while turning.
So, if no ridge being present is 0, and a ridge is 1, then Humpty Dumpty might be 0-1-0-1 while London Bridge might be 1-1-1-0 and so on.Hence the appearance of the discs.
You don't really need the disc at alls just wind it up (so the chip knows the music is "on"), and press the buttons under the head with your fingers to activate different songs.
All of this is invisible to toddlers, of course, but adults may miss the faster and slower variations of the original and be annoyed at having to now use three batteries in what was once a battery-less toy.

This toy is just a cheap knock-off of the original--though the price is anything but cheap at $30.00.It doesn't even have a music box, but instead uses a digital speaker.The buttons under the "needle head"select the tune. When I ordered the player for my 3 year old I was so excited to share something from my childhood with my son.But when we opened it on Christmas day I was extremely disappointed.The chime reader that my record player came with has now been replaced with something much less nostalgic.It's computerized inside but still needs to be wound up frequently!!! And the sound is very mechanical and not sweet sounding from the chimes like I remember.Do not buy this newly re released product is you are trying to connect your children with your childhood.You'll be very disappointed and empty pocketed!

The little bear is beautiful, but it was manufactured with a defect. the fur on the face was patchy. none at all around the nose and eyes. I did not what to return her because she would have been thrown in the trash.. We will just love her as she is.

A little side note I didn't give 5 stars because I was not happy with the packaging. I bought this toy for my 5-year-old.He has autism and loves tool type of toys.As soon as we opened this he got a HUGE grin on his face.Totally a hit with him!My 3-year-old daughter was DYING for a turn, and she loves to use it as well.Surprisingly, even my 19-month-old daughter can join in with her older siblings...she puts the pegs into the holes for them.
It's great for their fine motor skills...getting the drill bit in the right spot is a little tricky for small hands.There are also hand tools which are good practice for the little ones, too.I also use it to practice turn-taking with the 3 and 5 year olds...each gets to drill a certain number of pegs and then has to trade the drill with their sibling.
And it is FUN!My kids like just filling up the whole board, but I think after we've had it for awhile (it's only been 2 weeks) we can start using some of the patterns.Great idea to extend the life of the toy.
This toy seems really durable, has lots of play options (pattern or freestyle, different drill bits, power tool or hand tool), is educational AND fun.And rarely do I find a toy that all three of my kids can sit around at the same time and play with...but they do with this one!Highly recommended!
UPDATE 9/11:
We have had this toy for three years and it is STILL one of the most popular toys in our house.My kids are now 7, 6, and 4, and all will still play with this one.I do rotate it so they don't see it for a couple months and then when it comes back out they are all fighting over who gets it next.One thing I find interesting is that none of them have ever been interested in making the pictures...they just love to use the drill and get those pegs in!

We bought the design and drill activity center for my son's 3rd birthday.We also bought a Take-A-Part Airplane.The drills with the attachments can work on either toy, so we now have 2 drills for the design and drill center.Since we have 2 drills, we bring this out for playdates and it is always a hit. Boys and girls ages 2-6 have enjoyed it.I find that the kids like to drill in a lot more than they like to remove screws, so I end up having to remove them myself so that the toy gets played with, but that's a small price to pay for the 20 minutes or so of concentration this provides.
So far, no one has wanted to replicate the pictures they just make up their own patterns.

I just bought a set of these cards. they are very good quality cards but they are too small for big hands when playing holdem . The bridge size cards do not flow from the deck when dealing. Poker sized cards are better. Only my opinion.
Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Race Cars Set
I got my 3yr old son this race car set for his birthday as well as the Melissa & Doug Ramp Racer Set. These cars are too tall to fit down the ramps.On their own they are perfectly fine wooden cars, but I got them specifically for the ramp racer setup.
I like these cars a lot. The wheels spin smoothly, and even on carpet, you can propel these cars a fair distance before they stop.
Additionally, you'll probably find that these cars interoperate just fine with many of the tracks and playsets made for other cars. These cars' widths are comparable to the cars that you would typically use in those structures. The only issue you might have is if the track has a low clearance. These cars are a bit on the tall side.
Note: I bought these cars as a Christmas gift for my two year old son. The packaging's recommended minimum age is 3. However, I intended to play with these cars with my son, so I didn't balk too much at that. I'm glad I bought them. We've both had a lot of fun with them.

These little cars come in their own garage box, also wood, which my three year old loves and it is easy for him to put them away.Additionally, they are colorful and cute decorating his room.I wish the construction vehicles had the name on the bottom so we could talk about what it does.

i ordered one of these for my oldest child about four years ago.his has held up very well through a great deal of abuse, with the exception of a strip of the faux wood peeling off the back edge of the desktop.it is very stable and sturdy.i liked it well enough that i ordered two more for my younger children a month ago.they really look great, they are a nice good size that children won't outgrow quickly but not massive space-hogs (they would be fine for an adult as well), and they are very easy to clean of marker, glue, spills, etc.
on the downside, they are a bit of a pain to put together, and the bottom of the drawers won't support a ton of weight.this means for a lot of purposes, they will be fine, but if your child tries to step into it or load it up with a stack of books, the bottom will bow or possibly break.
i would definitely recommend them, and i expect mine to last for at least 10 years, possibly until the kids move out and want something that looks more "grown-up" than a locker desk.one final idea i suppose you could have the drawer faces powder-coated in another color, if none of these strike your fancy or you/your kids get sick of the colors that come with the set.
My 9YO son was able to put the entire desk together without any assistance, and he is quite pleased with how it looks in his room.

LeapFrog Learn & Groove Counting Maracas
I'd had my eye on these for a while, because our 18-month-old son loves music and has had a great time with the Laugh and Learn Piano from Fisher Price. When I finally received the maracas, though, he didn't seem at all interested. In fact, he seemed to dislike the noises they make. One is just a plastic maraca with shaker beads inside, which didn't much interest him. The other is a battery-powered one that lights different colors and has three settings (numbers, colors and music) in English and Spanish. After a while, he would pick up the one that has lights and sounds and check it out. Now he really seems to like it, although he gets bored if it's on the music setting, because it plays the same short refrain over and over again. (I get bored, too.) The reason I didn't give this toy five stars is because of the limited musical selections. All of the Fisher Price toys have numerous song options, which helps to toy to stay "fresh." This one only holds his attention for a few minutes at a time. I gave four stars for durability because we've only had them a month. In that time, though, he has chucked them around a fair amount, and they seem OK.
I got these for my 1 year old Nephew for christmas, I wanted something he could grow with a bit but still enjoy now that was educational. He loved shaking the maracas and watching the colors change and he was even trying to mimic the voice counting colors and numbers a few times.
Definitely a great choice for any young kid who loves music.

Bought this item for my recently year old twins.They love them.I was surprised to find that only one maraca was interactive.They are not very interested yet in the maraca that just rattles but I think this is a toy they will grow with. The twins love music so it is nice to be able to combine their love of music with learning.
I appreciate the fact that the maracas have a high and low setting for volume.I think the high volume is much too loud for a baby's ears.nw

We purchased this for our 15 month old granddaughter for Christmas this year and she just loves them.She has more fun with these than anything else she received. They have various settings for learning numbers, colors, etc., which at this point we need to change for her. But, she'll bring them to us and ask us to change it to a different setting! She'll be enjoying and learning from this product for a long time. We're very impressed with this product!

This toy is fun for a while, but really gets charming when the batteries run down:If it is set to anything besides making music (either counting or colours), the background music will play normally (reminiscent of a Caribbean carnival), but the words will get long and drawn out, as if they were being played from cassette tape on a device with dying batteries. The lights and everything else works fine otherwise; it's really quite strange and I can't imagine why it would operate this way.
Usually a rather cheery female voice counts to ten or declares the colour of the light when you jostle the toy, but when the voice gets stretched out like this, it sounds more like a creepy ogre inside, groaning in agony from the agitation while happy xylophone music plays behind.
At first, this happens only occasionally with a word slipping here and there, but before you know it, the poltergeist takes over completely and your child is learning the art of exorcism.
This might be what you're looking for in a toy, or it might not.
