Stella Nova Children's Illuminated Animals Desk Globe, 11-Inch
My 6 year old grandson was thrilled with this globe. He loved seeing where the different animals come from in each country. Then he loved turning on the light and having the different species of fish in each region become visible.THere is also a nice book that explains the animals that comes with the globe.Great Product.

I THOUGHT i was ordering the CRAM Herff Jones globe...what I GOT was some knock off "DINOZ" globe. These two globes are VERY similar, but are quite different in quality. The CRAM Herff globe has realistic animal pictures and the sea creatures appear when the globe is turned on.The DINOZ globe i got in the mail has cartoon animals and sea creatures and nothing appears when the light is turned on.I have always been happy with my purchases with amazon, and this is the first time i feel that i have been MISLED.Read Best Reviews of Stella Nova Children's Illuminated Animals Desk Globe, 11-Inch Here
It is a very pretty globe that is very appealing to children.Unfortunately it is very poor quality.I gave it to my grandsons for Christmas. They were absolutely enthralled, but were in tears after playing with it for only 5 minutes, as the plastice base fell completely apart.Extremely overpriced for the quality,Want Stella Nova Children's Illuminated Animals Desk Globe, 11-Inch Discount?

Butterfly SCS-4000 Shakehand Racket
I'm a intermediate level player with an agressive play style. My previuos paddles are:
1. Stiga triumph (3 star) entry level.
2. Stiga supreme (5 star) very slow, high control, thin handle.
3. DHS 4002 (4 star) very fast and very heavy, oversized head, not much control.
This racket perform very well, is very lightweight, very comfortable with a excellent touch and control.
It's not super fast, but it superb control characteristics permits me hit many forehand and backhand smashes with ease.
The only drawback is the packing quality, its seem cheap and the foil to protect the rubber is attached with bubbles of air.
I recommend this racket to players wanting to move to a professional level carbon paddle, you can think that $150.00 is too much for a pre assembled paddle, but i think that the price of $150.00 is reasonable. Consider it: the Solcion rubbers cost $70.00 each, for a total of $140.00 only in rubbers, in conclussion i paid $10.00 for a medim quality carbon blade with professional rubbers.
Folding Lap Desk with Tray by Miles Kimball
This was a Christmas present and the three year old boy really liked it.Don't like to be told how many words I have to submit.Next time I won't rate service.
Ceaco Thomas Kinkade Country Living 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle
This is a very difficult puzzle because of the similar colors and patterns throughout. If you are used to doing puzzles and want a challenge, get this!It is beautiful though and well-made.Not all the pieces were clean (had leftover cardboard attached to them) but the way the puzzle was made was pretty creative.Again, this is hard I've been doing challenging puzzles for a few months and am able to breeze through them. This one, I've been able to get one piece every ten minutes. The picture on the box is pretty small, so you don't have much to go from, especially with a detailed puzzle like this. It's a challenge but is fun!!

Bananagrams
Do you like Scrabble but get hung up trying to use those special point squares, are bummed when someone "steals your spot", or dragged down by Debbie Dictionary ("just let me look up this one word") or Slow Joe (who takes 20 minutes for each turn)?Well you would love Bananagrams, because it solves those problems. There are no special squares (or squares at all), no points on the letters (all are worth the same) and no time to dawdle. You are instead rewarded for speed and flexibility in making your own crossword. You can completely pull apart your crossword and start from scratch if you need to or just swap out a letter here and there, but don't get caught with a bunch of spare letters when an opponent goes out!It is exciting and challenging to play this game with adults, but it can be fun to include the kids. You can easily adapt the rules to suit yourself. We "handicap" the adults by drawing two tiles for every one the kids draw. You can play solitaire or have several players.
A similar game that I also love is Learning Resources' "Take Four".If you are the type who would prefer to have a grid to keep those tiles straight, or likes to have a few "jokers" thrown in, you might prefer this. But Banagrams is far more portable and much cheaper.I like both of these games so much (as well as the spelling card games Quiddler, My Word, and Tri-Virsity) that the old Scrabble board is gathering dust.
This is a family favorite! There are a variety of ways you can play this game. We use three or four sets for our large "extended" family games. One of the best facets of this game is its portability--fits in a purse, backpack, or car glove box. We give bonus points at the end of each for the most creative word, longest word, etc.
I played this game with a close family member and was in love with it at first sight.Unlike Scrabble, you play somewhat independently and are able to rearrange words constantly to make your letters fit and to create new words. You know that annoying friend or family who always takes your spot in scrabble??? They can't take the spot you wanted to use! You're truly working against the clock to be the first to say "Bananas!"
I've bought it for everyone I know as a gift since then. It's original, super fun and portable.A great game to travel with, play in hotel, at pool, on plane, keep kids busy at restaurant (or you and your friend/ spouse) while waiting for dinner!Lots of ways to use this portable, simple game.
I highly recommend and will continue to give this as a gift.
Only negative I can conceive...durability.Be careful of marking the letters somehow. We hope no one cheats, but if you scratch them on a black table...well then...try to clean it off.

I was shopping for a Christmas gift for my niece last December, and came across all of these rave reviews for Bananagrams. So I bought one for us 50/60-somethings instead (she'll get one this year.) It lives on the kitchen table and we play a few games almost every morning before we go to work. GREAT GAME!!!!! No waiting around for your turn, no angst trying to achieve the triple-word-value square, no getting stuck with hopeless letters turn after turn, no arguments, no dictionary just pure love of and fun with words. It's complete flexible and you can easily change the rules, for example if you are playing with a novice or child, or just for a change (try playing into and building onto your opponent's pattern.) It definitely gets tossed into my travel bag from now on.First purchased this game in Minneapolis. It's for all age groups over 5.
Before school the game was played by 3rd andgrandchildren.Just recently played it with 2 retired teachers, a lst grade teacher, and a librarian. We couldn't stop playing it.Later one of the friends called to say she had just ordered two of games; one for her home and the other for the granddaughters. Many ways to play.Exciting!

PortaPuzzle Deluxe 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Storage and Transport 1000pc
This was just what we wanted. We have cats and to have a puzzle in progress open on a table is disastrous. We now work the puzzle inside the case which has plenty of room. When we get ready to head for bed in the evening or have to go someplace, we simply close the lid, zip it up and it safe and ready to continue where we left off next time.Highly recommend.
The puzzle carrier is very nicely made and I love the zipper instead of tabs to keep the puzzle pieces inside. The only reason I did not give it five stars,is that the puzzle pieces get jumbled and fall to the bottom (after closing)when held by the handle.I am going to get a thin piece of foam to insert and correct problem. The case itself and the interior, is very well made and I would still buy again. In additiion, it is for 1,000 pieces but just a tad skimpy on the size for a 1,000 piece puzzle.Wish it came in 2,000 piece puzzle size.

I have always looked for something that was portable that I could do 1000 piece puzzles on, but I have never found anything, until now. This portable puzzle holder is big enough for 1000 piece puzzles and it is easy to move. If you have some pieces already put together, it is no problem moving them, because they stay put while you move the case. I am so happy with my purchase, and I know that it will last a lifetime.

This portapuzzle deluxe is great. I take it with me whenever I go on tripsthat r more than 2 days long. The puzzles stays in place as long as u lay them flat onto the mat and/or the 2 smaller mats that came w/ it. Try not to lay any puzzle pieces or the mats on top of each other or the puzzle pieces may shift out of place when the portapuzzle is being transported. Otherwise, this is a great product to have if u r into puzzles. It also looks cool, my brother thought it was one of those portfolio cases artists use for their artwork.Want PortaPuzzle Deluxe 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Storage and Transport 1000pc Discount?
This is NOT a toy it is a storage mat for jigsaw puzzles it is brilliant they can be tucked away under furniture and you don't looseany pieces.
Megcos Toy Company LTD Educational Products - Megcos Tool Bench Toy -Affordable Gift for your Littl
I bought this little work bench for my great grandson at the age of 16 months. Two months later, it is still his favorite toy. The bench was smaller than I expected, but that turned out to be just fine with my little guy as he can sit and use it rather than having to stand at it. He quickly learned to use the tools and is always finding screws and bolts on household furniture, etc. that he pretends to be fixing. He also has lots of fun with the little bolts, etc. that came with the bench. It is also more durable than I thught it would be. He has taken it completely apart many times, banged on it, and basically been very rough with it, but it has endured all without any breaks or splits. I admit when I first took it out of the box, I thought it was not worth the money, but soon changed my mind.
Very cheap product...I can't believe what I spent on this. If I still had the packaging it would definitely be sent back. Cheap, cheap, cheaply made.

Stiga T0641 3-Star Table Tennis Balls, 6-Pack (Orange)
I've used these for tournaments as well as casual play, and one ball has lasted many matches before I have to replace it.They're very durable, provide good spin and bounce, and they're easily seen over the table.I'd put these on par with any professional balls available.
These balls were a great pick-up for our family games. We do not play casual table tennis, but we are not the extreme type, either. My brother and I can easily tell the difference in feel and touch the 3 star balls have over the "wimpy" rec balls that we got first because they were cheap. Now that we are everyday players, these balls have yet to break, and probably won't until my brother steps on one of them. All together, 6 great balls for your money.

Disney PrincessToddler Girl's Pink Umbrella Molded Handle 3D Sleeping Beauty new
Hard to find a decent umbrella that a toddler can handle. This one is one of the best.At least it didn't seem like it was going to fall apart after 2-3 rainy events.Seemed to be OK quality
USB Flower Fan
I bought this with the intention of using it on my office desk, but I found a few major flaws with this product.1. The whole fan moves. The motor causes the whole thing to move around on the table which is quite funny to see. But ultimately,it's a feature I don't want in a fan.
2. It's loud. Since the motor causes the whole fan to move around, you can hear the vibration through the table. Even if you do find a way to stop the fan from moving around, just the motor itself is loud enough to be distracting.
3. The fan blows in the wrong direction!! If I really wanted to, I can tolerate problems 1 and 2. However, there's no way I can use a fan if the air is blowing the opposite direction of me.
This fan is cute and I didn't have any problems operating it via the USB or battery. Plus the petals are made out of foam which is nice, but having the fan blow in the opposite direction really kills it for me.Make the wise decision and invest in something better.
Dream Dazzlers Ooh La La Sassy Salon
I ordered this for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. Her mommy is a beautician so you can imagine how she likes to copy mom.My daughter said her little one screamed with delight when she set eyes on this salon.I was worried that it wasn't going to get there in time as I ordered it right at the end of the holiday season. The vendor was very quick to investigate and respond when it looked like the delivery was stalled. It's refreshing to have fast, truthful customer service.
Thanks for helping me make my granddaughter's birthday a special one!
Mom said it was "a piece of cake" to assemble.Great gift for any aspiring Diva!
Butterfly TW23 Outdoor Home Rollaway Table Tennis Table
I like this table very much. It is very easy to maneuver and move, as well as fold up and down. My only issue is that there doesn't seem to be any mechanism to compensate for an unlevel floor I would have expected some kind of leveling mechanism, but there is none. As a result, the table tends to have a gap between the panels, and looks a little warped. I have a handyman friend who is going to install levelers, and then it should be fine, but I would have expected the manufacturer to anticipate this problem.

The Good: For outdoor or indoor play this is a great table. The laminate top doesn't warp in humid weather or stain if it gets wet.The legs are sturdy, and fold up & lock very easily, the panels can be lowered quite easily. The ball really jumps on this surface. The Bad: The shipping box weighs 150 lbs! This is not an easy box to handle, move or ship.Be sure you check the contents before the delivery truck leaves as the laminate panels can shatter or crack easily if the box is dropped even a few feet or some other item was placed on top of the box. The first table delivered to my house I discovered (after opening it all up) the panels were cracked.Amazon corrected the situation and shipped out a second unit, which arrived perfect.
Be very careful which length bolts go in which holes as they go through the legs, the bracing, and the table joins. It took me almost 3 hrs to assemble.I store it with the cover on my backyard patio. In the end, a great table that will last for years.

I didn't do as much research before buying this table, but after the assemble, ( really isn't that hard, but it does need 2 people when you put on the boards) could not understand why there is no bounce to the table.Bought 3 star balls, tried on different type of floor, then realized maybe it's the table.Long and behold, after some deep research, found that butterfly's outdoor synthetic surface's bounce is extra low.
The table itself is great quality, if you are just learning or starting new, you will have no problem. But for someone who's played for a while and use to a wood surface or regular bounce, this bounce will not work at all.Ping Pong is more skill and agile than brute force, but the low bounce on this surface forces you to either hit the ball very high, or use brute force on each hit.Ended up forced to return to Amazon.
