Disney Baby Music and Lights Walker Featuring Pooh Characters, Ambrosia

Disney Baby Music and Lights Walker Featuring Pooh Characters, AmbrosiaI bought this walker (or a similar Safety First Disney baby walker) and it is a waste of money! I'm so mad so I hope writing this review will be therapeutic and help me relieve some steam! If I can help someone else not waste their money it'd be worth it I guess. First of all the design is stupid. Did the people at Safety First not test babies in this thing first!?!?! No baby could ever reach the ground even on the lowest setting unless they were already walking first, and then they would be above the 30 lb. weight limit suggested on the walker. My baby can barely touch the floor and when he can, the way the fabric seat is designed it makes them sit backwards. It's as if they are in a chair, and they can't lean forward to walk because the dumb tray is in the way. This makes him only able push himself backwards. Yeah, just what I want, teach my child to walk backwards. He does like the toys and will play with them for some time, but as for walking (which isn't that way you buy a walker!?!?!) it's very poorly designed! Luckily my mother-in-law had an old Graco walker that is much better that we are now using. $55 gone for a piece of junk! I really dislike poorly made products. I will never again buy a Safety 1st product.

I just purchased this walker for my 6 month old baby and was disappointed that she is too short to touch the floor while sitting in it.Even on the lowest setting her feet are about 3 inches from the floor. If you have a petite baby, this walker is going to be useless for quite a while. It's cute enough, and she likes the spinner toys. The honey pot music box is SUPER LOUD!We had to put tape over the speakers and it's still a bit loud and tinny sounding, but at least the baby isn't afraid of it any longer.Overall, I think this is a decent walker.I was going to get the Chicco DJ walker, but couldn't find it locally. So I went ahead and got this one, which was quite a bit less expensive... I just wish she fit in it.

Just got this walker for my 4-month old from a local K-Mart. He's not close to walking yet but he holds his head up and fits nicely in the seat, which is padded all around and has support . The walker was very easy to assemble, took me less than 5 minutes and everything snapped perfectly in place. It collapses easily for easy transport. He can't reach the floor yet at the lowest setting so I put a large firm pillow underneath so he can stand if he wants to. Mainly I got this walker to be able to let him sit/stand and entertain himself with the toys while I do some quick work in the kitchen or even take a shower (with him in sight of course). So the mobility issue is not a problem for me yet as I prefer him stationary right now. The toys are a bit much for him right now but you can slide it to the sides and away from his face if he's overwhelmed. Or remove altogether to use the tray. But even at 4 months he likes touching and smiles when he moves the pieces, or when we push down Pooh for music. He's in it about 15 minutes at a time. I think this was worth every cent since I can get some things done and he's happy in it.

My 4 month old has this walker and just as the other person said the music is way too loud and tinny sounding..it sounds like a toy from the 99 cent store...i dont really like the fact the tray opens...its dangerous for tiny fingers. My daughter likes to walk backwards in it but she seems to be afraid of the noise from the toy so she is very hesitant to touch any of the toys.

By the time your little one is tall enough to sit in thishe will already be walking.

Even on the lowest setting it is too tall for them.Thankfully, it was a gift and I didn't waste any money on this one. But thought people should be aware of the height limitations on this seat.

My son is not considered smallat 7 months he is in 88% for his height.... His feet are 2 inches from the ground!

SO it's not that he is short.

A better option if you want to put your baby in a walker at 6 months is the chicco dj baby walker.

Hyperspace Hack - Ultrafast Spaceship Fleet Battles with Miniatures

Hyperspace Hack - Ultrafast Spaceship Fleet Battles with MiniaturesSix months ago there were no books on how to program email using standard protocols. Now there are three!Kevin Johnson, John Rhoton and David Wood have all brought out excellent books on the subject. My only gripes withthis book are that it has no sample code available and too many errors. Ifyour budget is tight just get Rhoton's bookand a copy of the RFCs, but ifyou are serious about this stuff you are going to need all three books aswell as all the mail RFCs.

This book is an excellent introduction to e-mail programming andprotocols. It is as easy to read as any novel, explains everything neatlyand concisely, and provides excellent examples.

This covers what a mailserver does and how it works, but really concentrates on mail client-serverinteraction.It goes into SMTP, ESMTP, MIME, POP3, IMAP, and vCard format. The examples are clear and concise, and it includes actual code in Perland Java. This provides the reader with excellent, platform independentways to do what they need to do.

The writing style is excellent. One ofthe most fluid technical books I've ever read.In fact, all I needed wasone Sunday to read the book from front to back.

The code provided issuperb. It's easy to use, easy to understand, and aides in the learningprocess. For me, the code is invaluable. It has personally saved mecountless hours of work.

Finally, this book doesn't delve in tremendousdetail. It tells the reader how to program for e-mail, but doesn't go intothe RFC's as much as many people would like it to.I think, however, thatthis is a real strength. Many technical books bog the reader down withirrelevant information. This books avoids this, but still gives the userinformation on how to retrieve any additional information ifneeded.

Though there are not many e-mail programming books out there, this is by far the best one.I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I liked this book but like the other reviewers have said it's not exactly heavy on programming.Still I thought it was a good companion to John Rothon's book Programmer's Guide to Internet Mail.

The previous reviewer hit it right on the head. This book is very light on programming.Don't expect to build an email client by copying and modifying examples out of the book. But it does a good job on explainingthe various mail protocols.I appreciated it on that level because bookson internet protocols are rare.

Woodland Scenics Hot Wire Foam Cutter

Woodland Scenics Hot Wire Foam CutterI had one of these back when I was a kid. My mother was big into arts and crafts and I have done everything under the sun. I mean everything. We used a similar device to cut foam for some art project that I was required to do. It was not as nice. It was plastic, not as versatile and ran on batteries.

Last October I had the need to cut large panels of foam to use as tombstones. I had originally thought of using a knife but what a mess that makes.

This tool is great for cutting foam. No mess. Easy to use.

It has a small power supply which plugs into the handle. It has a trigger which sends a low voltage to the wire which gets hot and melts the foam. As soon as you let go of the trigger the wire cools quickly to the touch.

I did purchase the add-on Foam Cutter Bow & Guide and extra wire. The bow allows you to work on larger pieces of foam. The extra wire is in case I break it while working....which didn't happen.

I would suggest this tool to anyone working with and cutting foam.

This has been "The" foam cutter for decades now. If you are a model railroader, table-top wargamer, or diorama maker. Or for that matter if you do foam work for arts and crafts projects then this is the foam cutter to get. It works well and gives you good heat and good control over what you are cutting. The design of it is also great because it allows you to make very straight cuts by running the fork along a flat surface like the table top (see my picture of this process in the user submitted pics) . You can also get the Foam Cutter Bow & Guidefor more detailed and accurate work. There is no need to order a replacement wire for this cutter. When you install the wire you will be able to use only 1/3rd of it and you can set aside the rest of the wire as replacements.

Buy Woodland Scenics Hot Wire Foam Cutter Now

I purchased this as a hopefully cheap solution to cutting the outline of a couple rifles for a pelican case. The shape of the cutter is not conducive at all to cutting anything besides a straight exterior line. Trying to cut an interior edge, or a curved line was nearly impossible. After fiddling around with it and reversing the metal pieces in order to open up the wire as much as possible, I had a small amount of success. Overall, it was more of a pain and less effective in cutting the foam then hoped. It did a very crude job. The wire refused to stay taught, when attempting to keep it tight it would break, and the fact that you had to continuously hold the trigger wasn't annoying.

If you are using this for any sort of serious project, your best bet is to make your own cutter, or use something else.

I purchased this item from Amazon as well as a different foam cutter from my local Hobby Lobby, and I have to say I like this one much better than the alternative. I am a hobbyist who makes wargaming terrain, and this cutter is my favorite so far. The one I purchased from hobby lobby has just a single metal rod that is heated, unfortunately it is too wide and does not heat up enough to get a really clean cut. The only thing I like about that cutter over this one is it has a toggle switch that you don't have to hold down.

I am unsure of how hot this cutter gets exactly, but I think the small surface area of the wire helps it cut through foam with ease. The momentary switch as I mentioned before is a bit of a pain, but only if you use it for 'extended' periods of time. Once you press the switch, it takes about 2-4 seconds to warm up to where it can start to cut. Wait a little longer for the heat to build, and it gets even better. Once I am finished, I just get two or three paper towels, hold it on to heat it up for a few seconds, and what little styrofoam residue that is left on the wire I just quickly wipe off. Be careful to fold the paper towels over a few times, otherwise the heat can catch you off guard.

Other than the switch, the handle is a little flimsy which would normally not be a problem except you attach the two metal rods into the handle with thumb screws.

In summary it is not the highest quality item, but I would recommend this to a friend, and I would purchase it again myself.

I purchased this for my daughter for her 4th B-day.This looked like the best option available. The first board I received had multiple broken ball-legs which are needed to stand correctly.I sent that one back, ordered another one and this one had 2 broken legs, as well.I super-glued the legs back on and hope they stay.My daughter loves the geo board, i would just caution buyers on the quality.

Gund Arnold the Snoring Pig by Gundfun

Gund Arnold the Snoring Pig by GundfunThis is the cutest little toy! He wiggles his ear, snores different each timeand makes the cutest little noises as he snores (he breathes in and snores, then breathes out and sounds like "wee wee wee wee" and it changes and gets cuter sounding each time). He says something at one point like "a big bucket of slop would taste soooo good" or something like that. He also "breathes" as he snores, meaning his belly rises and falls with his breathing. He is soft and cuddly, unlike many toys of this type. This toy made my friend and I laugh out loud in the store and people were walking by laughing at us. It really can put a smile on your face on the worst day! Not realistic as far as pigs go, but very cute as a toy!

While shopping for a Christmas gift for my grandfather, my 2 1/2 year old daughter discovered this pig and decided we needed to get it for grandpa rather then the fleece jacket I had picked out. After I had made sure she understood that we would be giving this to grandpa and not taking it home with us I put down the jacket and purchased the pig.My grandfather recently had to go into a nursing home following a hospital stay in order to receive the rehabilitation he will need in order to come home.Needless to say his spirits have been down. When we arrived with Arnold the pig my grandfather perked right up and loved his gift.I told him that my daughter had made me put back a jacket in order to get this pig and he said she had made a great decision. We left him holding onto his pig smiling and thanking us for the amusement we had left with him.

My son (15mos) loves pigs.Points at every pig he sees, constantly tries to find them in books, etc.We bought him this piggy based on another review that it is soft and cuddly but has a button to push to make noises. The leg is supposed to kick, the mouth moves, and an ear shakes. (ala tickle me elmo, hokey pokey elmo, etc.).It is in fact suprisingly cuddly for the amount of noise and movement it makes. It feels as if it is sturdily made (However I wouldn't give it to my dog or trust that it would still be in one piece if I did for very long). The outer portion does not come off/can't take out the battery compartment so washing is a problem (son peed through his diaper and soaked this piggy last night.Handwashed and hung to dry 6 hours ago still not dry.

I gave it so many stars because my Son loves it.As for the washing, I don't think it is meant to be a kids toy in hindsight. He takes it with him to bed and carries it around with him.I find the sounds it make to be disturbing. The voice is creepyas is some of the snoring. This is made worse when my son roles over onto the pig in the middle of the night and I wake up to a creepy noise/voice oddly enough it doesn't wake up him up.I of course turn it off at night now.

My wife wanted to return it and still does. It does have kind of a realistic look to it as opposed to a more cartoony pig you might expect.

I think this is meant to be more like one of those singing/dancing stuffed animals you get at CVS, Hallmark, etc. and on that level I think it is creepy. As a kids toy, I have proof that it is well received.

I bought Arnold from a local vendor about three years ago for myself. I'm an adult stuffed pig collector and at the time of the purchase, I was going through a hard time in my life. Arnold was quick to cheer me and has been one of my favorites. He has brought joy to me and many others.

Unfortunately, his adorable voice and motions don't last forever. :( After three years of varied use and great care, he stopped working. I changed his batteries and my husband cleaned the battery connectors, but nothing worked.

I am very sad about this. I know nothing lasts forever and Gund makes excellent, durable products. Still, I was hoping Arnold would be snoring and talking for many years to come.

I can't see myself buying another one because nothing beats the original.

  • Corner desk
  • Homework and hobby space
  • Optional hutch is available

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old I choose the one that was for 6-10 year olds based on a previous review and am really glad I did not get the smaller one. This one is perfect for her and she loves having her own desk area.I know she is young, but daycare these days are teaching kids to use the computer, so she does have her own computer and having it on this desk works great for both of us. I put it in our TV room so she can play on her computer while I am in that room (of course her time is very limited). I put this together myself (did not wait for my husband this time). I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this desk in 2009 for my then two yr old son and am so glad I decided to get the larger one instead of the small one advertised for 2-4 yr olds. The desk fits him perfectly and he is now 3 and still using it. My son has always been tall for his age (about 43inches now at 3 1/2), so I feel I would have wasted my money in getting the smaller desk. Even if your child is not that tall, I would just go ahead and get this desk advertised for 6-10 yrs old. I agree with the other reviewer that your child will probably be two big for this desk at 10yrs old. My son will probably use it until 6 or 7 and then get another computer desk and chair.

Survivor Outwit Outlast Game

Survivor Outwit Outlast GameThe "Survivor" board game says on its cover that it's a game for adults, and it means it. The rules aren't overly complicated once each type of card has been drawn once (there's variants on Pictionary, riddles, To Tell the Truth and so forth), although few groups will understand how important the team play in the beginning will be later on.

But it's when the game gets to individual play and people start getting voted off that you have to watch it. Like the previous reviewer, we had one person voting for himself every round, and we had the first person voted out leave in a mock-huff, although she got over it in a few minutes. Since one isn't trapped on an island for a month with fellow players, there's no reason to form alliances other than to "get" other players, and since the game is presumably being played with friends, one should make sure that they're friends who won't be upset if voted out. (In most cases, that means having something else to do once the game ends, or a motivation to keep watching until the tribal council vote at the end between the final two players.)

This isn't a game with long-term replay value -how long can a fad really last? -but I expect my family will be playing this at family gatherings through the spring at least.

The board is attractive, with a 3-D green plastic island in the middle of a round board, and the cardboard board is naturally divided into two rings, for team and individual play, with team play being played in the waves around the island, and individual play on the shore. Some elements of the game are cheaply constructed -the "coasters" that tell whether a board symbol means "outplay," "outwit" or "outlast" are already peeling apart, and we barely touched them over Thanksgiving weekend -and the box itself is none-too-sturdy, as though the manufacturer knew the game wouldn't be played more than a few times by most people.

Still, for (thick-skinned) fans of the show, the "Survivor" board game is a fun way to recreate the show and with its blend of challenges, most everyone will find a minigame that they enjoy.

I do not own this game, but I recently played it at a friend's house. Before you think about playing this, you must ask yourself, "How sensitive are my friends?"As in the TV show, you vote people off the game.Unlike the TV show, you usually would be playing the game with those closest to you.I know someone who voted against themselves every time because they didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.Aside from the voting issue, while the game was novel and exciting at first, it quickly got boring. Some of the trivia questions are outrageously hard for the average person.(Which I guess merits some educational value.)There are a lot of pieces and cards and rules to this game, and it took three people reading the instructions to figure out what to do.On a positive note, if you absolutely loved the show, and your friends aren't so sensitive, you might enjoy this game the first time you play it.This game is a novelty.I doubt many people will playit more than one time.

Buy Survivor Outwit Outlast Game Now

I had received this game as a gift and was a little skeptical as to how well it followed the television show, but must say that I was quite surprised. This board game managed to capture the essence of the hit CBS sitcom. You begin the game by splitting into two teams. You can be on either the Pagong or Tagi team. I played the game with my two brothers and my sister-in-law so there was only four of us. You start out in the surf of Pulau Tiga and move clockwise around the board competing in different challenges and collecting survival items. There are many different challenges. You will be faced with riddles, a pictionary type game, as well as questions relating to your teamates. After you have completed one lap around the island you merge the two teams together and individual play begins. This segment of the game takes place along the beach and the object here is to be the first one around the board. The first one around wins immunity and can not be voted out of the game. When someone wins immunity, tribal council is held and someone must be voted out of the game. Hopefully, you will be playing with someone other than family because it can be hard when deciding who to vote for. Anyway, after someone is voted out of the game play continues in the same manner. It continues in this fashion until there are only two people left in the game. At that point, everyone who was voted out of the game decide who the overall winner will be. We had alot of fun with this game. We played it four times in a row and it was never quite the same game twice. It is all about immunity. Anyway, I recommend getting little candles to represent the torches from the show and snuffing them out after each person is expelled from the game. I also recommend some sort of necklace to represent immunity like the show and it would also be nice if you had the soundtrack from the show playing in the background. Use your imagination and have fun with it.

Read Best Reviews of Survivor Outwit Outlast Game Here

The "Survivor Board Game" is one that started out with a good concept.Up to eight players move around the "island," trying to outwit, outplay and outlast their opponents by answering questions, picking up special cards along the way to help with later in the game and trying to win Immunity.Unfortunately, that's where most of the fun ends.

Now don't get me wrong."Survivor" is a fun game, but you have to play it with the right people; in other words, those who are easily offended and/or aren't good sports about losing should not play this game.

Fun: Strangely, it depends. In my experience with the game, it has never really been that much fun.The people who win all the time want to play it, and those who know they don't have a chance at becoming the "Ultimate Survivor" don't want to play it.People sometimes make things personal while playing this game too, whether they intend to or not."The only reason you voted me off is because he's your boyfriend, and you didn't want to make him mad."And blah blah blah.Again, the makers of this game came up with a good concept. But I don't think they took this into consideration.

Educational Value: Not much. Most of what happens to you is either based upon chance or luck. And for some of us, if we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all!Just like in the game, alliances can be formed between people in the game, and this usually determines the same people getting voted out again and again. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to gang up on someone and get that person voted off.

Durability: It's a standard board game, so it'll hold up for a little while. But depending upon how much you play it, it may hold up for years because, in my opinion, this game has little or no replay value.People make it too personal, and half the time no one wants to play it.

In short, this game is average.I can see where the makers of this game were going and they produced it, but I'm not so sure they anticipated what would come of it.If this game were played with complete strangers, things might be a little different.I don't think people would take things so seriously. But who among us ever does that?

Want Survivor Outwit Outlast Game Discount?

I have a way to make it better. I own both first and second editions. If you are a competitive person, I have a few suggestions. If it is legal where you live, have every player pitch in 5 bucks or so, then play winner take all. Plan the game about a day or so in advance in order to give everyone a chance to form strategies. It is alot more intense, and fun. Don't play with sensative people or it could get ugly.

LEGO Bricks & More Building Plate 628It works.Rather expensive even if you can get it for $15.It is flimsy and needs a rigid backer material.Only one color in the 15"!And only in gray.If you need to attach it to anything, the plates are made of ABS plastic.Check the glue labels to make sure they are recommended for ABS.Just don't use the cement used on ABS plumbing pipe, it may just melt and distort the thin plates.

It is great to have this large building plate. We bought four of them, and my husband attached them all to a square piece of plywood with screws and put casters on the bottom. Now my son has a large base to build his LEGO creations, and it slides under the bed with a simple push for neat storage when he's not using it. (Granted, some of his taller creations have to be partially destructed to fit under the bed.) The 2x2 design is large and sturdy enough to build large, complex LEGO sets and scenes. We have some stacking Sterlite boxes for LEGO pieces, and all together it's a very user-friendly LEGO system that keeps both children and parents happy. It has been used almost daily for over a year, and there have been no problems at all.

We love the rocker boat and our 2 year old grandson REALLY loves it. He must have sailed a 1,000 miles while he was here for Christmas and he made sure the boat was loaded into dad's truck when they went home. It is one of the cutest toys I have ever seen and I would recommend it to anyone.

Swap Top Transformable Kitchen and Desk in One

Swap Top Transformable Kitchen and Desk in OneWe got this for our 4 yr old daughter last year for Christmas. I liked the idea that it was a play kitchen and could grow with her and be used later as a desk. When we went to assemble this contraption on Christmas Eve, we were surprised by thousands of tiny pieces. We spent over 3 hours assembling this only to find that half the screws did not fit properly and then the sink part was molded wrong and did not fit at all! We finally managed to get most of the pieces together enough to use it. I had to call the manufacturer and get a replacement sink piece. Not long after we gave it to my daughter, the hindge covers broke and other various plastic pieces started breaking. She still has it, but rarely plays with it in Kitchen form because so many pieces are broken. It make a cute little desk. Good concept, but bad design.

This is a great idea for a kids room. My 3 year old loves it! but 2 pieces broke within hours. But what did I expect at !

Fisher-Price Role Play Center Kitchen Bin

Fisher-Price Role Play Center Kitchen BinWhen my 2.5 yr old son started play cooking, we knew we would have to buy some sort of kitchen for him. I was very reluctant to spend the money and honestly, sacrifice the space for one of those large, plastic kitchens. Having an 6 yr old daughter, we had been through the cooking phase and already bought and sold one kitchen. We knew that the novelty wore off and the lack of space was a pain.

I saw this set in Target, next to the large, wooden play kitchen that my son likes to pretend to wash his hands in each time we go there. It was hidden behind some other pink and purple items, next to frilly apron and dress up clothing.

No bigger than a large tackle box, it is compact and self contained. The top lifts off and becomes the stove with knobs that really do turn and make a nice clicking sound. There is a fold out window that is fitted into a slot behind the burners. There are 2 hooks on it for the spatula and spoon. It includes a frying pan, fried egg, bacon, cookie, spaghetti, pizza, 2 cups, 2 forks, 2 spoons, and 2 plates. It is the perfect size for a continual stream of pretend play without the loss of floor space.

It stores nicely on a shelf or under a table. The fact that it can expand with the purchase of the other boxes (diapering/baby station, doctor kit, workbench) and the shelf unit that stores them all, makes it possible for this to be a series of toys that will keep my son busy for an entire year. I am impressed with this new line of toys and am considering getting the rest of Christmas with help of family.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My mom gave this bin and the Baby Bin to my two year old daughter for Christmas. She adores this toy.She plays with it daily. It is easy for little hands to pick up and open. The top becomes the stove top. There are about five pieces of play food. There is also a bottle of play catchup. My two year old loves to feed mommy and ask if I want more catchup. She pretends to pour it for me and laughs. There is a place setting for two.The boy next door has a much larger kitchen, but I think my daughter has just as much fun with this much smaller and cheaper item. There is also extra room in the bin, so if you already had some play food you could easily fit in the bin.And since everything fits in one bin, pick up time is much easier.

Ordered this, the nursery & the workbench. These are great self contained & portable toys even without the table that can also be purchased.20 month old grandaughter beside herself over these, & can pick a pretend play "box" to go anywhere. The faux food is well done & the knobs for the burners click.Love all of them!

Our daughter (2.5 years) is happy with this toy. It's small but full-function for children games. All stuff stores in the box, the top of the box is a stove.

I'm completely satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to everybody.

My son has had this set for four months now and we're still cooking regularly. This is a great basic kitchen set with stove top, pan, spoon and spatula, plates, cups, utensils, and some play food. It's actually a little light on the food, so I would recommend also getting a play food set to supplement the kitchen. Everything is very durable and stores in its own bin. We did not get the optional "customizable play center," but just play with it on the floor or on a table. We also have the tool set which is equally fun and compact.

Crayola Color Wonder Table Top Easel

Crayola Color Wonder Table Top EaselWe are using this a lot more than I originally thought we would. My almost 4 year old daughter uses it just about every day and with all different kinds of paints now that the color wonder finger paints it came with are gone.Originally bought it mainly for travel, but we use it in the house all the time. It's ok for gentle every day use, but a little flimsy if you have an active toddler or a child who would want to push hard with markers or paintbrushes. It will collapse every now and then since it's not the most stable, but it's still more stable than I thought it would be.I wish the "lip" to hold the easel up was bigger so it would hold better.

Pros:Lightweight.Holds a paper in place just fine.Holds paper at a comfortable angle for painting/drawing.It holds the type of paints holder show in the picture.Small if you have very limited space or more than 1 child that will want to paint/color with an easel at a time, these are perfect.Cost is fair too.

Cons:Lightweight (so it will move while child is painting). Not enough room to store more than approx a 12 page color wonder book.Cannot find color wonder finger paint refills in the style container they have the space for on the easel, so I wonder why it's even there at all if there aren't refills that fit available (I have not checked online yet).

We are looking for a good "heavy duty" table top easel for our daughter, but in the meantime, this one is working just fine!

This is a great product. My son loved this.He loves seeing the paint appear after he draws. It's like a little surprise.

Activity Table

Activity Table Finish: Sanded/UnfinishedI am an amateur woodworker, and I would have built a table for my children but I didn't have time this year to do it. When I started looking around for a table to purchase, I was immediately struck by two realities: 1) most of these tables are completely overpriced, and 2) most of them are poorly constructed and made of cheap materials. As a person that works with wood, I know junk when I see it. Kids furniture should be safe and made to be durable. MDF, although a great material to work with for stuff around the home, doesn't bode well in this regard. It will become instantly ruined if wet, is difficult/impossible to repair if chipped -the same goes for other commonly used materials (particle board, etc). This table is constructed on 7-ply birch veneer plywood -strong as anything, and looks like solid wood. The parts assemble with screws & nuts at the joints, and will go together in about 20 minutes. This is the only table that I found that satisfied my requirements for build quality, appearance, and durability. In addition, I thought the price was reasonable considering the price of the rest of the junk on the market. The table has a small lip to keep parts from falling off the top, and there is room below for baskets or rolling shelves if desired. Recommended.

I searched a lot before choosing a train table. I was looking for something: large, durable, not made of laminate, and a reasonable price. I bought this table for 50% of its retail price, and I feel that I got a very good deal compared to what else I could have gotten for that price. The table is large and a standard train table size. We use the Melissa and Doug train set on it, and it works very well. It has a lip around the edge, but this is not so deep that it's hard for little kids to reach across (I think the Melissa and Doug and some of the Kidkraft tables have too deep a lip). Our table does tend to slide across our wood floors when kids lean against it--this wouldn't happen on carpet, and I'm sure we could get little rubber feet to prevent that if we wanted to. The table is very simply, yet beautifully, constructed. While not what everyone might want in their living rooms, for a play room or family room, this is a beautiful table.

The ONLY reason I purchased this table was because it is shown with the drawers.NOTHING on the advertisement states that it is just for the table. The table is overpriced for what you are getting as there are lots of other options out there. It was not until the box was opened that I realized there are no drawers with it.

I really should have read the description more, as one of the main reasons I got this table was the two large drawers underneath. However, they are NOT included, and are ridiculously overpriced (they cost more than the table: $170! For two drawers!!).

The table is very large and sturdy however, so we'll be keeping it. Now I need to head to target and find myself some containers for underneath.

I was unsatisfied with the quality of this product. If someone was paying attention when the wood was milled, they could have chosen the better sides for exterior pieces. The wood laminate was warped and contained lots of knots. Perhaps next time I will go with "Made in China."

Lipper International 559N Child's Round Natural Finish Table and 4 Multicolored Stools Set

Lipper International 559N Child's Round Natural Finish Table and 4 Multicolored Stools SetItem came quickly. Surprised at the great quality for the price. Disappointed that a couple of the stools were scratched up (looked like something was dropped on them when we pulled them out of the box). We had already put together the table and didn't want to deal with taking it apart to ship back. Very cute table for my daycare room.

ordered this for my children's craft/learning area (i homeschool my pre-schooler and wanted a good table to play and learn at).ordered this one because it was such a great price, got a notice that it shipped, but it never came.a week later i contacted the seller who told me it was no longer in stock and it never shipped.they gave me a very prompt refund. and i ordered the same table but with the white finished top instead because that one was listed as "in stock." i've received a "it's been shipped" email, but there's no tracking information and the shipper's website has no record of it being shipped.hopefully i'll get it soon and can actually rate the product and not just the shipping hassle.

Star Table & Chair Set with Primary Bins

Star Table & Chair Set with Primary BinsI bought this table from Kid Kraft less then 5 months ago and I had so many issues with it. I normally don't have these issues with products I buy. But this company was horrible. After many emails for a week and a call from the super visor which was just as worse with Terri and Hillary the Supervisor. I mean its a totally cute table and super adorable don't get me wrong. Their Customer Service is HORRIBLE. They don't care about your concerns or care. I have 2 toddler who love to put things into their mouths and when screws fall out we have to take time out to worry about finding them.

Kid Kraft Table

Well after many exchange emails and phone call from supervisor. Makes me tell the World how crappy they are. They stated they will send me replacement parts, but honestly it wont make it better, Some of the screws and wood is stripped.Meaning I will need a new table ifI take it apart. The screws in the chair that was there before I got it, are falling out, no grooves to but it back into the chair. NO instructions at all, and there website has a assembly spot but when you put the 5 digit code in, wont catch you have A or B. I had B and gave me instructions to A which were all wrong. No way to tell their site which version you have which lacks alot cause A has so much less then B. The bolts that catch onto the screw, keep falling off the table, and makes the table very un sturdy. Also edible parts for my toddlers which make me a very unhappy camper. You will need wood glue and wrench plus many extra things to make it work. My biggest concern while emailing and calling they act like I am a liar, and how its never happened before, and THEY hand pack the boxes before ship. Also you know those white packets that have those beads in them? poison to human mouth contact, well they exploded all over inside exposing those beads around my kids, which is why I had to wait to put it together. I don't want my kids to get poisoned from their lack of caring. Plus I never found the packets anywhere. The screwing on this table is all wrong. Took 2 people plus me to hold the wood rods while I try my hardest to screw the screws into the tiny holes they came with. I pulled 2 muscles while doing this in both arms, and damaging the tissue into my shoulder which is very weak from past damage since they used non automatic tools.

If your looking into a sturdy table for your kids THIS isn't the one you want. Their CS sucks so bad, their supervisor is so stuck up, and they make you feel so low. I honestly will never work or buy from this company ever in the future. I asked them to make my opinion change about them, a NEW table or different product or apology, which was my main concern, but cause they were so stuck up, they were like we will send you new parts so you can be in pain all over again, these screws aren't something that would take a automatic tool to make it happen faster. It was a small tiny tool that goes into the screw while You turn over 10+ times to get it in without it stripping. I hate how the outcome came, but this IS NOT a company any parent should gr through.

I am so worried day by day that a screw or nut or catching nut my kids will find. After wood glue its all fine and gravy, but that's EXTRA money out my pocket to make it work. Says it 3+ and so on, but clearly they have no idea what they are talking about. Again they are rude and non caring!!!!!!!!
