I rarely write reviews, but since I hate this product so much and there seem to be only good reviews for it, I think it is time to share my view.I bought this for my 21 month old daughter base on all the great reviews it has. After we put the set together, we are all very disappointed! It was very easy to put together without any tool, however, it is very flimsy and way to light. Below are the few things that make this product NO GOOD:
The surface of the chair is way too small even for my daughter. and of course, Adults or older kids won't be able to sit on it if they wish to play or sit next to her.
The chair is so light weight when my daughter try to sit on it, it would keep sliding backward so she fall down a few times trying to sit on it. We have hardwood floor and it DOES NOT work at all. We tried putting the chair on the foam play mat, but it still would slide around.
The table also is so light weight it does not stay in one place. It kept moving around just like the chair. It does not work for an active toddler.
The table is a single piece of thin plastic instead of a block of plastic that warp the air in. We own the Step 2 lookout tree house and I thought the table would be same good quality as the tree house. NOT SO! Very disappointing.
I got the set for under $50. With the same price, we went to IKEA and got a nice set of wooden table with 2 wooden chairs. The IKEA set is heavy and very durable. No more sliding chairs and table! (That really piss me off!) I am returning this, even tho it would cost about $13 to ship! I really dislike this set and am surprised there are only good reviews for this product.
Okay, so I am giving this to my daughter as one of her MANY presents at Christmas. I opened up the box just to see the quality of the product and im not surprised with it being a step 2 product. It is made from solid plastic and I can tell its going to hold up beautifully!! For only paying $35.00 this is a GREAT product. One of the step 2 chairs costs 25 new! I couldn't believe how resonable the price was. Also. there is NO ASSEMBLY!!!!!! Thats right!! NoNe!! I was dreading having to screw in and hold together pieces. But the table legs snap into the table top and the chairs slide together then snap too. Its a great buy and I am sure she will love it! Get it before the price goes up to the normal 50-75 dollar range! :)

We purchased this Step 2 table and chairs set to go with our 20 month old twins new Step 2 kitchen.We love the size, seat height (10") and colors.Also, liked that it was plastic for easy cleaning.We are, however, disappointed with this set and would not recommend it to anyone. We do not feel that it safe.1.Chairs are too light weight.The chairs move out from under the twins as they sit down.This happens on tile floors and some on the carpet.Putting felt under the legs does not help.The chairs still move on the tile floors.
2.The table is too light weight and moves around.If the twins do make it sitting in a chair, the table moves away from them as they brace themselves to sit down.
3.The table top has split on one side and I had to call Step 2 for a replacement top.Step 2 customer service was awesome and I received it in 3 days.
We will be getting ready of this table sit and be getting a heavier weighted table set with low height seats.I have seen one at my twins daycare that came from One Step Ahead.It is about 5 times as much in cost which I am not happy about but the set is heavy to works on tile floors and the height is low. We have a nice wood table and chairs set but the seat height is too tall and it will be a couple of years before they will be able to use.

I really expected more from Step2, this table is flimsy and not at all meant for children, I bought this for my 5 year old who is very good with her things. She leaned over to grab a crayon and the leg bent in. JUNK!!! Don't buy this.Want Step2 Table and Chairs Set (Tan) Discount?
I bought this table and chairs for my 4 & 2 year old girls for Christmas.I debated between it and another Step 2 table, but ultimately I chose this one because the price on the other table kept going higher and higher.I wish I had just waited and found the other table at a yard sale or something.It wasn't more than a month before one of the legs had bent and was difficult to keep on.We found a way around that...not pretty, but it stayed on.Then the table developed a small crack in the top, it the oddest place.I realize that the girls put it through some wear and tear, but I just don't think it was durable enough for 'real' use.Just to clarify, by real use I mean a 2 & 4 year old having a tea party, or coloring, or playing with Littlest Pet Shop on it.Those types of activities are too much for this table.Save 12% Off

I bought this for my 5 yr. old for Christmas. The only problem I encountered was one hole wasn't predrilled, which wasn't a major issue, I just drilled one. Other than that I didn't need any tools. I spoke with the seller proir to purchasing this desk, they were very courteous and helpful!My daughter will fit at this desk for years, she is tall for her age, and has plenty of room to grow. Actually, I am 5'6" 135 lbs and we can both sit comfortably at this desk and work!

I bought this desk for my 4 year old son. He has a computer for therapeutic reasons (He is diagnosed with Aspergers) and it is better than I expected. It's made of good quality items, ships quickly and is easy to assemble. This desk has an option to buy the grow with me package that allows you to accommodate your child as they grow. I bought this computer desk for my two kids, 4.5 and 2.5 years old.Although it indicates it's for ages 5 to 10, I think it's fine for a 2 year old and wouldn't bother buying the smaller one also being sold.
The desk is made of good quality wood, assembled easily by one person (about an hour), and has a very nice smooth feel to it.The bench seat is perfect for my littles ones who would otherwise be pushing and knocking each other and separate chairs around.
My one complaint is that there are no half-circle cutouts at the back of the desk for you to run cables through.We only have a monitor plus speaker wires (use a wireless keyboard and mouse), but it's a bit annoying to buy a "computer desk" and not actually have cable runs built into the desktop.

This is not a "serious" wargame for gameheads, but a game that kids and parents can enjoy together. A 10 year old can easily grasp the basic rules, and will enjoy the physical activity of moving the models around. The simultaneity of play keeps the pace brisk and interesting you can easily finish a 2 player game in 15 minutes with basic rules. The extended rules add a bit more interest for adults, as would adding two more planes for team play, though I think more than that might get a little tight. The models are really quite well done for the price, and beg to be displayed on your desk rather than locked in the game box. My one quibble is that the stands tend to come apart easily, which is annoying since you are constantly moving the planes on them I'm going to glue mine together.Save 6% Off

We just received this, and it is exactly what we have been trying to find for ages.It is a high quality, lightweight ladder toss at the same price as the pvc models.I have gone through a few pvc models, and they are always a nightmare because the pvc bends and the sets are much less stable.This set solves all those problems, as it has a lightweight wood construction.The ladder toss always sets up without any crooked rows as common with the pvc set.And when the balls hit the ladder set, it is sturdy enough that it does not budge.The leg construction on this model is much better than the square of pvc other models use to stand up.As a result, we never worry about the set falling, shaking, or even moving.
The fact that the set ins't a bunch of pvc tubes and caps also means the item doesn't occasionally fall apart when in a game.
Finally, they had both hard balls and softer ones for children, which was convenient and safe.We also ended up tailgating in a parking lot with the set, so the soft balls came in use for the inebriated adults as well.
The other problem is the bolos. In ladder ball, each player should use three bolos, and his/her bolos should be a different color from those of the other player. What I received was 6 white bolos made of real golf balls for adult use and 6 yellow bolos made of soft material for child use. Therefore, if both players are using the same type of bolo (which is essential to make the game fair), then there is no color distinction between the two players. Therefore I just had to spend additional money to order two more sets of bolos in two different colors.
It's a shame that the manufacturer could have made a quality product simply by gluing in the connectors, and providing 2 sets of 3 bolos in two different colors each for the adult and child games.
Unless you want to remanufacture this product as I have, please look elsewhere for your ladder golf game.

Bought this cover about a year ago.Love it, love it, love it.I have a homemade pool table.It does not have a slate top; therefore, I need something that will allow the balls to roll freely.This new cover did the trick.I was quite impressed that the pockets were cut out and separate pieces provided along with pre-cut bumper pieces.Great quality cover for home billiards.If I ever had to replace again and couldn't afford something of a higher quality, I would definitely purchase again. Obviously, I would recommend to others as well.

This Vanity table is highly detailed and well worth the money!The table itself is made of a lot of different pieces in back of the mirror, including lotus blossoms in black and yellow, snakes in Cleo's blue and yellow colors, scarab wings, cat and anubis legs, and a really cool MH logo chandelier light.The same logo, in translucent blue, is on the back of the chair too.
It also comes with more jewelry for Cleo, some make up items, a make up case with ring and more jewelry, and a drawer to put all the loose pieces in.
The back of the vanity has little tables to store/display the extra little pieces.
The amount of detail on the vanity is amazing.This has to be, by far, the most intricate and beautifully designed of all the MH accessories.It looks so much better in person and out of the box!
High recommend this for an elegant, upscale display for Cleo or Nefera!It especially looks good near a light to catch the translucent snake details.

I loved this product!There are many little items that come with it (I wouldn't suggest for a small child, though at least 7-8 years old! The items are easy to lose with a younger girl...)
There's a cute little accessory set including earrings, necklace, ring.. and little make-up pieces (I especially love the sphinx iCoffin holder) and so much more.
You can put the small items in the make-up box or in the pull-out drawer too cute!
The details were just amazing :)
As a fan of Monster High I would say that this is definitely a product for any young girl or doll collector!

P'Kolino Klick Desk
We bought the Klick Desk in green for our daughter's 2nd birthday one year ago. We have nothing but good things to say about it. It's compact, attractive, absolutely durable! Our daughter uses it everyday to color, do art, to play her video games, to play on our laptop. She even eats there quite often. It has stood up to crayon, marker, pencil, and food messes and has cleaned up well everytime. We've even caught her standing on top of it, and it has handled her antics well! We store her coloring books and a plastic case with art supplies in the shelving under the seat. The back cushion is soft and durable as well. We have limited space in our house and this desk works out well. We move it from her bedroom to the living room and back almost daily. When it does get left out in the living room it is at least attractive and can be compacted together and used as a side table.The ONLY thing that did not meet my expectations is that I thought that the chair and the desk part would actually "click" together and lock in some way since it is called a Klick Desk. They don't, but it doesn't deter from the functionality or quality of this product at all. We love this P'Kolino product so much that we have now ordered their easel for our daughter's 3rd birthday! We can't wait to get it as we are certain that the quality and functionality will be excellent!
On the upside... The desk looks slick (or it did prior to being all stained up), the size allows it to fit all over the place, and my daughter really likes to use it.If you have a small space for your kids, this would be the best choice.
It's really compact but enough spaces for little ones to do their craft.

We purchased this for our granddaughter, it is a very nice design and well thought out but the manufacturing was less than desirable. The company used cheap plywood that was not dried well because it warped, curved, and would not fit together as soon as we pulled it from the carton. We purchased this for our son for Christmas.He was going to be turning 2 in January.He loves Thomas, but it's hard to justify those prices especially when you have other children to buy for.Needless to say, we have been very impressed with this set.It has a ton of track, you can set it up in many different configurations--I don't think we've ever done the same thing twice!The bridge and tunnel are great additions.All in all, perfect for our son at his age.And just a note, Thomas track pieces and trains DO fit with this set, which is another bonus!Another great product from Melissa and Doug.
This set was a christmas present for my 2 1/2 yr old son.He absolutely loves it.
I wondered if he would be able to put all the toys together easily/by himself without frustration and he has had no problems with any of the pieces.They are very well built (and trust me, this kid puts toys to the test).
I also wondered if this set would have enough piecesI thought perhaps I would buy some additional corners and straight sectionsI'm glad I didn't.There are plenty of pieces here.
Clean-up is great, too, all the pieces fit into a small basket.
If you have a child that loves trains, I would highly suggest this!

My sons (5 and 2) both love Thomas the Train. I like the toy too, since it encourages them to think about different track lay-outs themselves. Also, it's simple enough for my 2 year old to enjoy playing with, but not so simple as to be dull for my 5 year old. The main downside to Thomas sets is that they are so expensive. The track, especially, costs a lot if you want to build a decent size layout. My sons prefer the actual Thomas trains to off-brand trains, but the difference between Thomas track and offbrands is a lot less of an issue for them. Because of this I have gotten mostly Thomas brand trains, but track sets like this one to get bigger tracks. This track set has no compatability issues with Thomas track sets and the lay-out is respectable, even as a stand alone. The track design isn't decorated with a track pattern like Thomas track is, but this hasn't been an issue for my kids. The only odd issue I've had is that my beagle finds the track from this set especially enjoyable to chew-on, going to greta lengths to get at it, while he leaves Thomas train sets alone...I don't know, maybe they make the tracks in this set next to a dog treat factory or something? We bought the train set for my Grandchild who very much enjoyed playing with it. Within a very short time, the next day after recieving it,the locomotive came apart. The "boiler" separated from the carrige. I could customer service that took my information abou 3-4 weeks ago, it's replacement has not arrived.found Millisa & Doug's email adress a few days ago and wrote them about the broken engine. they havn't responded.Not a very nice way to a family that up till now has bought and recommended many products theirs. without good customer support it gives you pause, there are other toy makers

I looked at several different wooden train sets for my two-year old, including the popular Thomas the Tank Engine.I felt that the Thomas train set was overpriced and too fussy looking (especially the train table!)and there have been quite a few recalls for lead scares with that company as well.Kid Kraft is a reputable brand that has a disclaimer on their site that notes that there have been no recalls with their products and that they use sustainable materials for their construction.Plus, I liked the European look and feel of the set.My two-year old loves it!

The play set was exactly what I was expecting a fun toy with numerous possibilities for imaginative play. I like the fact that it is made from WOOD and is quite sturdy, comes with a variety of little features, combines a child's love for cars AND trains(unlike so many other garage toys) and is compatible with other train and car sets, such as Thomas & Friends and Matchbox. The roads, the garage and the elevator of the garage are big enough for all sorts of cars and little trucks, Matchbox and the like. My son, who loves trains and cars, received this toy for his third birthday and loved it. For a month now, he has mostly been playing with the trains, the train tracks, the crane and all the little people. This is a great product. I looked at many other trains before deciding on this one. Compared to Melissa and Doug, and Thomas train sets, Kidkraft comes with more cars, trains, etc.andand looks very durable.

The Circo 120-piece train set is a great value for the price. The track pieces are solid and stay together, even under the heavy use of twin 23-month old boys. The drawbridge is solidly constructed but the mechanism that raises and lowers it sometimes sticks but seems to be loosening with more play. The train cars included in the set are constructed well and stay on the track and the number of track configurations are endless. There are a lot of accompanying 'setting' pieces that we've put up until the boys are older (buildings, people, trees, etc.) but there is enough now for lots of great play. This is a great first train set!

I gave this to my 2 year old son on Christmas Eve as an early gift to keep him entertained and give him something to play with while our extended family celebrated the holiday...big mistake!These tracks were terrible, they did not fit together snuggly and therefore the trains had issues staying on the tracks.This toy did nothing but frustrate my son and cause him to cry throughout the entire night.He had a small figure 8 set of Thomas tracks that did not have this problem at all but after reading reviews that said these tracks were "just as good" as the Thomas tracks I decided to try to save money by buying the circo tracks with the Thomas trains since many reviewers said that there was no difference.Be advised that there is a definite difference and the statement "You get what you pay for" could not be truer when it comes to these tracks.Thankfully Amazon took the tracks back and I was able to purchase a Thomas set instead and since then my son couldn't be happier with his trains and tracks!I am all about saving money but if it is at the expense of quality it just isn't worth it...Don't bother with these tracks...just get the Thomas ones, you won't be sorry!Thank goodness my son had enough other stuff Christmas morning that I was able to hid these tracks and he forgot about them till the new ones arrived!

I originally purchased this toy about 5 years ago when my sons were 5 and 3(now they're 10 and 8) and it was seldom played with.They we're more interested in Knex and Legos.Recently though I dug them out of storage for my 2.5 year old daughter and she LOVES them.She has built some amazing gear creations all by herself(she's very proud of herself too).Well needless to say my older ones can't let her have all the fun ,and have started playing with them too.It's a great toy they can all play with at the same time with total cooperation.As an add on I did purchase additional Gears and Bases of different sizes to go along with this set.I feel the additional pieces make the toy MUCH more interesting and challenging to build with.

Gears are a great toy, and my child loves to construct things daily. I really, really think Gears are a wonderful toy. Don't get me wrong.
After about a year, however, I can report that there *are* durability issues with the blue connectors. On the connectors, the little plastic prongs to which gears snap on/attach are weak, and you can see the stress points forming as white lines. The prong loses its shape and strength, then the gears start to fall off. I mean, fall off ALL the time. This has led to much frustration. Some of the prongs broke off long ago. I have to replace our whole bucket now because the gears won't stay on the connectors.
I also have to say that the gears have chipped as well.

This table was given to my 4 year old for his birthday. The minute he saw it, he sat down and started playing with it. He just loves it. It has plenty of room for two or three kids to play and both the duplos and regular legos fit on the table. My only complaint is that the table is VERY short. I also have an 8 year old son and he plays at the table just as much as my 4 year old. We cannot find chairs small enough to fit under this table. I guess they think kids will stand to play, but my kids want to sit and even our smallest kids chairs(from Step 2) do not fit under the table. I think I will have to buy some wooden blocks to extend the legs so we can fit chairs under there. Other then the height, this is a fantastic table for kids of all ages.

I was looking for a table that my 2 year old could do art projects in the house as well as eat lunch on the patio, and not take up too much space.Out of the box it took less than ten seconds to set it up.It is easy to clean, store, very good quality.Its a little big for my two year old, but he manages well..and he will definitely grow into it in the years to come.
We borrowed one of these for my son's 1st birthday party thinking that some of the older kids would use it. They did. But so did my son. He was tickled by the idea of a picnic table that he could sit and eat at by himself. He'd only ever used a high chair before, so this was revolutionary to him. he spent a good amount of time just getting up and down from this table during his party! This table comfortable seated 4 small kids (ages 1-5) all at once.
Since then we've bought one.It's sturdy and we pull it out for coloring, when friends come over for lunch, or just because he likes to eat there by himself. While it's beyond the weight limit, I'm able to sit across from my son on this thing (I'm 125 lbs. and I have to keep my legs to the side, but I can do it).
A big bonus for me is that it folds down pretty flat. We live in a 1100 sq ft condo so there's a premium on floor space. When not in use, it easily folds down and can slide under a bed. I consider it a great investment.
