This train is in the Discover Junction line also called "free wheelin' trains". Engine size is: 3.5 (L) x 2.4 (W) x 4.25 (H)

Fisher-Price Servin' Surprises Birthday Set

This is seriously so much fun. It pairs up with the Fisher-Price Servin' Surprises Kitchen & Table to play music and sounds super fun! The kids can push up a little button on the back of the candle to make it stay "lit" and it "blows out" by popping back down when they blow on it. So cute and even toddlers can easily make it work.

The cake can be switched to different sides, chocolate or yellow... then they add the "frosting" decorations to the top. The set is really well made, and very durable. Love it!

Gave this to my 3 year old niece today. Her and my 3 year old son sat for about 30 minutes playing with this. It's very cute, and "chunky" for a toddler's hands. I was happy to see my wild one, calm down and play for a minute. Luckily I bought 2, when they were $5.99, a couple of days ago, and "SANTA" has placed one under our tree!

Not really educational, which is what I look for, but very cute and entertaining.

Fisher-Price outdid themselves...the little ones love to make the flame disappear by blowing on it....the cake can be turned over to look like chocolate icing...super cool!!

We bought this for my 3 year old's birthday to go with his servin' surprises table. The candle has a little flame on it that you can raise and then "blow out" very easily. He loves that he can blow out the candle and dances to the birthday song as well. This is a great addition to the servin' surprises line.I don't know how Fisher Price manages to write songs that stay in my head all day,but they've accomplished it again with this one.

Malibu Doll Play Set

Good quality and sturdy. My daughter loves to play with this and it fits most of her dolls which hasn't always been easy to find one that will fit the bigger dolls. Stroller is sturdy and easy to push around for the kids. Overall great.

Great product, takes some time to put together, so be sure to do that prior to giving it as a present.

My daughter loves to play with the double (or even triple) story bed and the buggy. The back buggy seat comes off easily when the children pull on it, i changed that easily with 2 cable binders.

my girls love it,

however the back wheel came off the stroller and i cant get it back on.

keeps falling off.it did 'click' in the first time i put it together, but now wont stay there.

any help?

thanks

When i saw this online, I thought to myself, "how cute!"Putting it together wasnt so hard. But the materials kind of flimsy. The metal bolt that holds the wheel bar onto the stroller broke off.I super glued it, so it wasnt that big of a deal. But then the edge of the seat tore. That made me a little annoyed. But nothing a good sewing can't fix.I guess you get what you paid for.

Fat Cat Cribbage Board

For the price you can't beat it.The board seems well made and comes with pegs that store in the bottom.Very functional.

Nice cribbage board, great for price, drilled smooth, clean, looks great. Pieces store in bottom, plastic slide cover.

You are taking your chances with this. Mine was initially ok cheaply made but ok. However within a week the wood had warped to the point where one corner of the board was 3/4 inch off the table. You should probably spend a little extra and get a better quality board.

The board isn't super high quality, but it does the trick. You can play cribbage on it and it doesn't cost a whole lot. Exactly what I was after. Plastic pegs store in a compartment under the board, which sometimes opens up unexpectedly. But overall nothing to complain about.

Edu Science Land & Sky 360 Tabletop Refractor Telescope - Blue

$Edu Science Land & Sky 360 Tabletop Refractor Telescope - Blue$ My wife purchased this toy for my son at our local TRU. Out of the box it was missing the sky charts, the manual and the CD. Additionally, the knob and screw assembly to attach the telescope to the tripod is about 1/4 inch short (5 millimeters).

I called to see if I could order the parts, but the agent wasn't interested in even knowing what product I had. I guess there are no parts available. Boo, TRU.

Armed with a larger screw for the mount, I assembled the scope to the tripod. The product actually works nicely for its price point. This product delivers a clear image of distant objects. The adjustment knobs are bright silver and well machined. The product also includes a pair of storage tube for the eye pieces.

The tripod is made for children and should be used on a bench or table. It has central arms for stability.

All and all, for $20-30, it isn't that bad if you can get over the missing pieces. Nothing that was missing was a deal breaker.

Mandalay Wrought Iron Garden Bench

We positioned this rocker so we can take in a pleasant view and my husband and I enjoy sitting together with a relaxing movement while we sip on a refreshing drink in the warm summer evenings. I couldn't put it together because it was too heavy-duty for me to handle, but my husband was able to do it with no problem. I think the price now is excellent, as it has been reduced quite a bit--a bargain! If this rocker ever starts losing it's color, I think we could spray-paint it when the time comes. So far, so good. I've had to wipe it down with a damp wash cloth since dirt does show on black just as much as on white, so it will eventually get dusty. For little matching side tables, we bought several CobraCo AGR1021-B Eminence 21-Inch Black Round Weave Plant Stand and find they come in handy to set your drink down while you're rocking in this bench. The Powder-Coated Tubular Steel Nesting Plant Stand Tables Set of 3, in Black complete the wrought iron decor on our deck and also match this bench.

This is a very nice rocker and was easy to assemble.Seems sturdy and I've enjoyed having a cup of coffee on my front porch!Decided to go with wrought iron over a wooden bench as this will be less maintenance and I can just spray paint when needed to give it that new look again.

Little Tikes Swing Along Castle

This was a gift to my daughter from the Grandparents for her 1st birthday. Her enjoyment in it was enthusiastic to start with, but very short lived. At the time, she was a new walker and although the steps up to the slide were short, they were a challenge for her to climb. As another reviewer said, by the time she had the hang of climbing and sliding within the next couple of months, the slide was way too short to hold her interest for very long.

The swing on this thing has very little range of motion.Instead of being suspended by a flexible rope or chain, the swing is attached with rigid bars, which stop the swing from going too far forward or backwards. While this is a sensible safety feature on paper, it doesn't translate to a very comfortable ride for the child being pushed by a parent.

I assume that the swing was designed for kids to use by themselves safely. However, most children in this age bracket aren't going to understand how to pump their legs to swing, they can't get themselves in and out of the straps with buckles, and if their legs are long enough to push themselves, they're too big for the swing.

I also feel that the entire unit becomes wobbly too quickly.Even after tighteing all of the fasteners several times, I always feel like it's a bit unstable and fear that it might collapse. It hasn't yet and I'm probably being overly paranoid.

My daughter is now 22 months old and the weather is warm enough for her to be outside again. She climbs up and over the unit, but not much else.We have purchased a very basic swingset for her with 2 belt swings, a toddler swing, glider swing, and slide for under $200 ... a far better investment, in my opinion. She will be able to enjoy this for years to come!

We purchased this playset for my son's first birthday, and we're very pleased!Although he's too young yet to climb ON the toy, he has a great time crawling through the castle and around and under the swing. We can also help him go down the slide, which he loves! He will definitely grow into this adorable and durable playset and it will get more and more fun as he gets older.

We have it in his indoor playroom, which it is sized perfectly for.It would also work well outdoors. The swing is a bit of a clunker, however. It doesn't swing very high, and only keeps his attention for a few minutes. That would NOT influence my decision, though, and I would purchase this set again if I had the chance!

We've had this set for a few months now and while it was initially a hit, it lost it's luster very quickly with my son. When we first got it (when he was 9 mos) he loved the swing, but was still too young to use the slide. Now, at 14 months, he no longer cares for the swing, and the slide is too short to really amuse him for long.

The swing is very stiff...it doesn't swing freely back and fourth. The way it's bolted onto the unit doesn't allow for it to go very far in either direction. My son is average in height, and when he sits at the top of the slide, it's almost as long as he is with his legs stretched out. As far as assembly, it wasn't too bad. I put it together myself in about an hour, but the slide was a thorn in my side. It (mine at least) wouldn't connect completely with the base, so there's a small gap between the slide and the top platform.

Overall, it wasn't a terrible purchase, but if given the choice again, I'd pass. It's something that becan only enjoyed for such a short time...I'd rather have taken the $140 and put it towards a larger, sturdier swing set that he can use as he continues to grow.

our 11 month old love this slide but a fan of the swing.it is too stiff and doesn't go very quickly. he loves the tower though and i think he'll enjoy climbing when he's older.

This is not worth ordering considering how short slide is. It is as long as my kid so he gets no enjoyment out of it. The swing doesn't do much either. He has been on this item 2 times for less than 1 min each. Not worth the price.

9 Inch Abby Cadabby Bendable Poseable Plush Sesame Street Stuffed Doll by Gund

My nine month old daughter instantly fell in LOVE with this small version of Abby. The doll is easy to hold, her arms and legs bend so she can sit up and she looks just like the puppet on theSesame Street DVD.

The doll is just darling and made very well. She is small so think about how big 9 inches really is.Perfectfor a 2 year old.The only negative aspect of the doll is that she does not have her "magic wand"....my 2 yr. old granddaughter didn't take notice but my 4 yr. old grandson was upset about that. The perfect doll would have had the wand which makes her the little fairy that she is.Nice toy-colors are perfect.

DUPLO OR LEGO COMPATIBLE PLAY TABLE WITH STORAGE POCKET & SOLID OAK WOOD LEGS AND FRAME - BUILT TO

I deliberated for quite awhile on which table to buy and finally decided upon this table. It arrived within 3 days of ordering it, I'm not sure how they got it to me that fast, and I didn't even pay for expedited shipping. The quality is AMAZING!!! It is made in the USA and it truly shows. I forgot what great quality our country's craftsman produce. It truly looks like a craftsman product with the solid oak legs, the rounded edges of the table and the general sturdiness of it. It was extremely easy to assemble as well! I am also really happy to be supporting a noble cause that works to fight autism. So glad I found this product and am going to recommend it to friends.

Perfectly packaged, arrived early--super quality Lego table for Dublo (I believe another top can be ordered for the smaller Legos as the child graduates.) I love the seller (benefits Autism) and the manufacturers. The table has an oak finish and is top quality.Comes boxed flat, with only the legs to add to table.Perfect size, school quality.Very pleased. This will be the creative plaything of choice this year!I ordered a few Dublo Lego sets from Amazon as well.Unplugged -Let the play begin! Our grandson and his parents were thrilled when they saw this table unwrapped! It was the first thing he played with--for hours with the other Duplo sets we had also ordered from Amazon. The parents were thrilled with the look and top quality, and now that we've played with it numerous times we can wholeheartedly say this item is fantastic in every way and greater enhances Lego imaginative play !

Update, now Feb 1st--it is the favorite play center in the house.Just added (from Amazon) the Duplo Lego circus.4 year old grandson makes elaborate designs and can leave them up till next times .The net bag in the middle of the tablet holds a surprising amount of Legos. It is such a quality piece of furniture for fun, I'm buying one for mycounseling office waiting room.

Giant Cool Wave Slide - Green

The slide is really fun for my young children.Even our dog slides on it!Our children slide very fast and they love it.It is tall though and I will caution when using it with small children.

The slide is flimsy... similiar material they use when buying those metal swings and have the small 3.5 foot slide; it wabbles... super light weight...The screws are a joke... they are tiny (about an inch), but thick... one screw came off on the first day of use...I used 2.5 inch screws with washers. On the reinforcement, I put in a whole wooden brace across, not just two sticks on the sides... I live in the desert, and the dry hot weather may cause the plastic to harden and brake...

Now, I write two years later and must say it is still as I got it, durable and undamaged by the sun or use... I am surprised and humbled by this product.

We bought this online after searching far and wide for a longer than average slide. When it arrived, we were very disappointed to find out that it really is almost indistinguishable from the regular version.I understand that in an age of overly litigious parents and safety regulations "Giant" isn't what it used to be, but this things is just a wee bit longer than the standard version. It's also very lightweight and would have taken a great deal of bracing to use.

We're returning ours, which is of course a hassle, because even though it's not Giant, it certainly doesn't fit in the mailbox.

I installed this slide on an existing playhouse. Before you order this slide, be aware that the instructions are pathetic. The diagrams are tiny and vague. The slide itself is pretty thick plasic but it needs to be propery supported to be stable. Their method of stabilizing the slide is a joke. I anchored the center section 2x4 supports into concrete. I also raised the lower end 4 inches and anchored it into concrete. If the lower end is not raised up a little, the child will end up on his rear end every time he hits the bottom. The concrete anchors make the slide pretty stable. I can't imagine anchoring this slide per the manufacturer's directions. I can see from the reviews that others have had stability problems also. I would say that, if you don't want to anchor the supports in concrete, then don't order it. Otherwise, it's a good backyard slide.

Electronic toys annoy every nerve in my body. My poor neglected children are usually stuck with wooden toys or other non-noise making toys. In general, I believe electronics take away from the play value of the toy and make a lot of noise.

After seeing this recommended in several parenting magazines that aren't huge brand promoters, I took a closer look at this toy. I was skeptical it could be all that the recommendations and the few reviews claimed it to be and prepared myself to be disappointed.

That said, this toy is awesome. It is really more of a sound mixing board than a keyboard.

The niftiest part for me is the wheel that allows you to pick a style. For instance rock, dance, etc. If you turn it to rock and press "Old McDonald's Farm" it plays a guitar driven head-bangeresque version of the song. If you turn it to dance it switches the song style to a techno version. What is really nice is that it doesn't just play the song the same way but with "guitar sounds", but it actually plays a completely restyled song for each genre. Also, all of the buttons, the scratching disk, and mixing options change to fit that genre.

This is on a different plane than the usual noisemaker keyboard toy. There are a seemingly infinite number of ways to groove with neat options yet no learning curve! The whole system draws you in and you can't help but be inspired to create and make new things.

After being grossly disappointed in the horrible Vtech camera I bought them last year, I am relieved to see a quality product for childrens' electronics. I can tell someone put a lot of thought into this toy.

I purchased this for 19 month old son, Fox for Christmas last week, but we've been test-driving this thing endlessly and almost daily. I haven't had the heart to take it away, slip it back into the box and wrap it up because we both really get into playing with this for several hours at a time. Much dancing ensues as well as singing.

If you haven't seen this in the stores because they're currently packed full of a million other toys, don't worry ... let me try to break down exactly what this has and what it does:

1. The keyboard lights up prompting the kids what to do which is never complicated.

2. It has a total of 10 on-board instruments.

3. It has a phone-dial which switches between styles, like Techno, Reggae, Jazz, etc.

4. A microphone with 4 voice changing effects and a detachable music device that records the little songs you make, which can then be played in the car via an audio mp3 tape jack just like an iPod.

5. A turntable that makes scratchy sounds which is too cute.

6. Sound effects that are catchy and well-thought out, but not annoying.

7. 20 songs with about 15 to 20 different adjustable beats with 3 rhythms and a tempo slider.

8. All songs made can be recorded, and not just ten seconds worth, either.

9. It also comes with a little songbook, which Papa uses and Fox tries to turn the page on.

10. Multiple keys can be pressed simultaneously creating chords or 'tone', unlike other toy pianos.

We have an upright piano that gets played on and played with frequently, so he already gets that these things can sound really cool if you mess with them. Even though this toy is marketed for kids three and older, I think it's perfect for any child 18 months and up.

If they show any interest in music at all, they'll love it. If they don't yet, then this is the perfect tool to kick everything off. The good thing about this is that they can play with this for some time as they wont quickly outgrow it as is the case with many other things. A little adult interaction also goes a long way as well. I think I love this just as much as he does, ... maybe even more.

It operates on 4 AA batteries which hold up for quite some time depending on use and volume.

... ...

The Vtech KidiJamz Studio is a great toy! My middle child (6 years old) got this for Christmas. I was scared that it would be a bit too childish for her, but no worries about that now! EVERYONE loves playing with this toy! Even adults get pulled into it. The lure of different styles of music, a microphone, and a spin table are just too much for people to pass up. And on top of that you can record all of this crazy "music" that you are making. The entire family has had so much fun playing with this. This is most definately oneof our best purchases for the year!

We have bought THREE of these keyboards b/c our 2 1/2 year old loves it so much. It's great b/c of all of the preprogrammed songs that comes with it, so he can just push a button and dance. The first (from) lasted for a few months then broke (they keys lit up, but no sound), the second (from Amazon) lasted about 5 minutes, then started turning off all by itself, the second (direct from ) lasted about an hour and then started turning off all by itself.I'm so disappointed because we can't find anything else with these great features, but I think we'll have to give up on this one.

This would be an excellent toy if Vtech would work out the stinking defects. My kids LOVE this toy which is the ONLY reason we keep spending our money on it praying it won't be one of the defectives. We are now 0 for 3 and giving up. Every single one of them stops working within days or weeks with the units turning themselves off within moments of turning them on. You've broken my kids' hearts every time they hope the next one will work, Vtech. No more.
