Replogle Globes 12/1 Lunar Wonder Globe 11cm Diameter
This is a spiffy-looking globe, but it's not very tough at all.My first one lasted two months before my son dropped it.The arm snapped in two and couldn't be glued.So I ordered a second one.That one arrived with a broken arm.I sent it back and gave up.The plastic arm that holds this globe is just too fragile.
It's a very nice ten-dollar lunar globe. It's very detailed but easy to read.
The construction does seem a little fragile, but it's a ten-dollar globe. I wasn't expecting cast iron. As mentioned in an earlier review, it will break if it's dropped. Big surprise. Most things will. Try not to drop it.

The globe itself is fine. The stand is so flimsy it arrived already broken. (I didn't damage it while removing it form the box; before I opened the box, I could see the globe lying at the bottom with the stand broken off through the side of the box.)
I also wish it showed a physical scale rather than just noting that the scale is 1:32,000,000.

I love that things are labeled on this cute little globe. Although it doesn't spin too easy, and it seems a little flimsy and might break easily if given to a smaller child, it was a cute gift to give to someone curious to learn more about our immediate space in the sky.

We bought this for my 3 year old girl's birthday.It was SO easy to set up...only took 1/2 hour for all pieces, including the oven and sink!The attention to detail in this product was amazing and the quality was far better than I expected.She absolutely loves it.The best part...when she is tired of it for a while, take it apart and store it under the bed or in the attic.I can't wait for more pieces to come out.All the parts nest inside each other for space saving too.I HIGHLY recommend this item!!!!
This product is just o.k.. I thought it would be bigger and heavier. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old.
It's pretty flimsy and can be easily pushed over (by a 11 month old who is holding on to every thing to walk).
The stove that came with it is tiny as you can see in the picture the kids have to be on their knees to use it.
I don't mean to sound so negitive and am sorry if I have discouraged you but it's just not a favorite. It is really cute though.

My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday-she loves it! It is larger than we thought it would be in size. It takes up a good portion of our living room, but my daughter has too much fun with the cottage to worry about the space it takes up. The house pieces nest together nicely, but I wish that it would be a little easier to take the whole thing down if we wanted to-we just don't want to put the poles together again. I purchased the Rose Petal cottage for my 6yrold... she loves it, although I thought she'd be a little old for it... able to put it together without TOO much difficulty, w/no help from Dad, so it isn't that hard!She wants to sleep in it at night and is looking foward to getting accessories for Christmas.I also got it at a great price, which was a plus... quick delivery as well... all in all a very good product!
LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table - Pink
My son's babysitter bought this table for him when he was 11 months old and just getting into standing for long periods. Soon, I was joking that it made her obsolete. He spent about an hour a day, in small increments, just walking around the table (there's something interesting on every side) and manipulating all the various tabs, switches, knobs, and buttons, enjoying the sounds they produced.This toy is brilliantly designed. Here are my favorite features:
1. It's pleasant for mommy to listen to. No shrill "fake baby" voices or cacophonous "music." The piano keys play pleasant jazzy riffs that actually sound really musical. The voice is an accomplished-sounding female singing in a jazz/R&B style. There are a great multitude of sounds and songs on this toy, and none of them are hideous, jarring, or overly loud. Mommy's nerves appreciate that. In fact, many times I found myself scat-singing along with the joyful female voice!
2. The controls are all different -not just an assortment of buttons. There's a "book" with a "page" that "turns"; there's a banjo with a neck that moves; there's a spinner; there's a compartment that opens and shuts; there's a "slide" on a trombone, etc. Flipping certain switches had the effect of changing "modes," which kept the kid engaged for long, long periods, as he tried to figure out what controlled what and what kinds of effects each switch might have.
3. There's a Spanish mode. It's always good to expose tykes to language early, and this is a pleasant start. The instrumental songs are different in Spanish mode, too; they're, well, Spanish songs.
4. It's a sturdy little table, well able to handle the weight of a leaning toddler.
About a year ago, when my boy was 2, we had to put the table away for space reasons (construction work). Just after he turned 3, we took it out again, and he lit up with joy and fell to playing with it passionately once again. That's what I call a great toy.
This is an excellent toy for infants to toddlers. We got a blue one for our son at about 6 months. It has removable legs so he could enjoy it at his level near the floor and as he has grown and learned to walk we have replaced the legs so he can still enjoy it. There are loads of tunes and sounds which keeps it interesting for kids and it takes a long time before it gets annoying for adults. The sound quality is pretty good unlike most electronic noisy toys. Two volume levels also help save the batteries. A good toy all round.

Our 13 month old daughter has had this for about 2 months.She enjoys playing with all the buttons, slides, and flipping the page on the book but it never holds her attention for more than a minute.The music and singing aren't too annoying.The only down side would be the location of the Off/ Spanish/ English switch.It is on the top near the toys and is always getting toggled.It would be better if it was placed out of the way on the underside of the table.
Tabletop Air Hockey Game
This was the last gift I "made ready" after all the kids openend their Christmas gifts.My wife bought this and I figured it would not be much fun and/or that it would not work very good I was wrong.This is a great toy puck slides on air just like on the big table.Fun, EASY, portable, great coffee table fun.
Good for adults and kids!!
I gave this review a 3 and not any lower because it's really cheap. If you go to any store, the price you will get is $30. Plus it does work and it's still a lot of fun. Performance-wise, it's pretty much the same as the $30 set I had a few years back. I just have no confidence that it will last very long.

This was bought for a 6 year old boy. He liked it and it was popular with 4 and 9 year old cousins. Easy to play, no setup time and fast.
I felt it was not very sturdy and probably won't last, but it was a good gift.

I homeschool my kids and needed a table that would stand up to everyday use by young children. This table turned out to be exactly what I needed, an all-purpose activity table that I could use for painting, drawing, writing, crafts, or whatever else we end up doing. I love that it was a very simple assembly and is easy to clean.Another nice feature is how sturdy it is.When I shake it, as a child would do when they're writing or leaning on it to reach the crayons in the middle, it will not move.Most tables would give a little when bumped, but not this table it's as solid as a rock (and should be at 74 lbs)!I also love the clover shape!It's not boxy and boring as a rectangular table and doesn't push you away from it as a round table does.The clover shape is a great compromise and is perfect for being able to scoot in closer to the middle, almost like it invites you into your own personal space.
I ordered the chunky legs to go with the table because they have a wider stance than the other two types and they are adjustable from 15"-24".So that will allow a 2-year-old all the way through middle school at 12-years-old to use it with the adjustments.I have even found that I can sit down at the table with my kids quite comfortably and join in the activity.

Sorry to say this, but for a little more money you could get a vintage brass Put & Take that spins easily and nicely virtually every time with little effort.This one is quite frustrating.Once you get the knack, you can make several successful spins in a row, but then you have trouble.It seems that a good half the time it does not spin well -it flops around like dice. ... ...... I collect Put & Takes, and like having this in my collection.The booklet is a nice touch.The 13 metal silvery "Pieces of Eight" and golden "Doubloons" are a hoot.
Be forewarned, this toy does not come as pictured. It only comes with the small bag, spinning top, coins and instructions.
As I only wanted the coins really, I can't find too much fault them.
HeroClix: Batman and Robin # 38 (Veteran) - Justice League
I like HeroClix, for I like collecting action figures of my favorite heroes.HeroClix are offered of various heroes in many poses and in different costumes.Some are really inexpensive and some are offered at high, high prices for the rarity.This is my favorite HeroClix, for it is a great scene of Batman and Robin Together AND it features the Tim Drake Robin in his Red & Black version of his costume--which I feel is the best version of the Robin suit.
Though it is small, it is a great display piece and I am impressed with the detail of this Heroclix, for some of them either look really great or don't look good at all.I will say this one looks great!
If your a Batman and Robin fan, I'd say this would be a cool piece to add to your collection.

Wow, I'm so amazed at the other reviewers account of this toy. We love it. The truck caught my eye at a toy store, and my son who is under 3 loves playing with it, the voice is hilarious, so New York, and I think it's very interactive and a positive toy. Now I'm looking for the "stinky" book which someone at a playground told me about when they saw my son with the truck, their son was also obsessed with the truck, great for little hands.
My Grandson loves this truck.He specifically asked for Stinky the Truck & loves playing with it & hearing it talk.He immediately bursts into laughter when he hears the voice.I would buy this product again for another child.Also the customer service at this seller is excellent.They really strive to make a customer "happy".

First let me say, my boys, 3 and 5, adore this toy.He says cute stuff like the big one and lights up and stands up (by pressing a button)and is a fraction of the price of the large one... but he does NOT have an off switch.He will talk randomly....in the middle of the night...or wrapped underneath the Christmas tree....and it will be annoying. I had to hide mine in the lofts of the attic before Christmas in order for my boys to not hear him carrying on about how stinky he is.Otherwise, a nice little substitute if you can't get the larger one.Be sure to take it out of their rooms for naps or bed, otherwise you will have to bust in and remove the chatty fellow before he wakes everyone up.

This was a present for our 2 1/2 son at Christmas and it makes him laugh every time!Even his 6 year old brother gets a chuckle out of it.The retail price is $9.99 but as they get more difficult to find, I've noticed the prices continue to increase online.Also, we've been discussing potty training and so he's used to us asking if he's stinky probably why it's so funny when the garbage truck asks!We love it and it's a great alternative to the more expensive, larger and possibly scarier model.We probably get the same amount of play out of this one as we would the larger one so the price and portability of the "mini" is PERFECT!The big decision for us is which "mini" to get next!

My 3 year old fell in love with the full size Stinky truck at the store so when I found the mini Stinky truck I was elated.It was just under 1/2 the price of the full size truck so I assumed it would be close to half the size of the large truck as well. When I received the mini Stinky I was shocked at the size and quality of the mini Stinky. It is 1/3 the size of the full size Stinky at best and definitely not durable enough to be pressed on to make it talk and go back down on all wheels.I am hoping this toy lasts until Easter!Unfortunately,I would not recommend this particular toy!

As far as single-use tablecovers go, this one met all my expectations. I ordered two for the food and cupcake tables for my sister-in-law's "Mommy to Bee" baby shower. They were used to cover 6ft x 2.5ft tables. It was wide enough to come down and cover a good amount of space and table legs.They may not be the thickest and studiest plastic covers but I also wouldn't worry about easy tearing.

Guidecraft Table Top Arabian Style Building Blocks
This block set was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter.It is a beautiful set and very well made.No rough edges and very safe.There are a few small pieces to the set that may have to be putup until the child no longer puts things in their mouth though.At the time I purchased this set, little did I know that the various Guidecraft Toy Block Sets are made in different countries.I purchased four different sets.This was the only set that was not made in CHINA.Each of the other Guidecraft Toy Block Sets that I purchased were made in CHINA and were terribly made.They had splinters YES SPLINTERS on several of the blocks and they were not sanded smoothly.So, my advice is:make sure before you purchase Guidecraft Toys you check out what country they are produced and made.
The listing on Amazon stated that the blocks are for ages 6+. However, the box clearly states "Ages 3+". The blocks aren't super tiny and most of the blocks in this set are comparable in size to sets for 18month+, but to be safe, I will sit aside the smallest pieces for awhile since my son is only 14 months old, which is what I've had to do with other sets that are intended for 12month+.
My only complaint about the product is that there is no storage box included. The listing mentioned one, so I assumed that it would include a plastic storage tub, like the other Guidecraft Tabletop Block sets include, but instead, there is a canvas storage bag. It is a nice bag though, and for what this kit cost (Only about $20+ Free Shipping), and the quality of the blocks (I'm very pleased that I won't need to sand them prior to decorating them) I can pick up a plastic tub at Walmart.

Tile Lock Scrabble
I know that my love for the game of scrabble may be jading my true opinion of this product. This is my very first scrabble board game. It was a wonderful "just because I love you" gift from my husband. This is not the board that I would have chosen but I don't think he knew which one to get. He thought that it would be nice because the tiles are supposed to stay in place. Well I have no idea why the call it tile lock because the tiles don't lock. In fact they can move around quite a bit. Plus the board does it cheaply made. If you want a cheaper Scrabble board then this one will do. But I would recommend spending a little more and getting one that folds up or one with the original wooden tiles.

I purchased this item along with 2 other toys. Unfortunately this is the only item I am dissappointed with from the purchase. The picture definitely makes it look better than it truly is. The concept of the locking tiles sounds like a good idea, but the tiles are hard to place on the board as they tend to flip and not fit well. You have to struggle to get the word on the board and heaven forbid if you have to lift a letter to see what score box you are on all of the adjoining letters will flip out needless to say it takes the fun out of it. We had a set that had wooden tiles for 27 years and ended up losing letters (and some of the letters were so worn that they were partially deteriorated).
