I agree with most of what has already been said in review of this product...

BUT I think, even if you measure it out beforehand, and know you're getting a itsy bitsy table (though with a great drawer, I agree) it just isn't roomy enough for easy play (if you have one of the larger houses). If you buy the playground, have fun trying to squeeze it in there somewhere. If you buy any of the really cute 'play-place' stuff that Calico Critter sells, like that thing with the hot air balloon, or even the little Ferris wheel. Not good (there isn't anywhere to fit that in!).

If you have one of their small houses maybe it would work but then you can't fit all the fun furnishings in those.

I think if you don't have a lot of calico critter things it would be great. For example; If you had a few families and a playground, then I suppose it would be very good.

I hope someday they put out a play table that actually fits their hotel or their big house WITH room for a playground or other such things. Calico Critter toys are my favorite (as far as toys go) because they're fuzzy, cute and have a lot of dear accessories! Playmobile toys are a very close second (but they lack in fuzziness).

I bought this for my peace of mind. So many peices with this collection!But this is a great way to store all the Critter stuff. The drawer is large and the edges keep things from ending up on the floor. We have the large house with the green roof and it just fits with a little room all around. You could also just use the table to play without a house as there is a scene painted on the table.

I used a power screw driver and put it together in about 20 minutes (I'm pretty good at assembling things). It is very sturdy and has lots of bracing at all the corners. I have one visable chip on a corner but since I got this at a crazy low Amazon price I'll just get out some white paint and deal with it. FYI Ships in original packaging.

We got this table for my 3 year old to accompany her brand new Deluxe Village House.My Mom and I assembled the table all by ourselves.The directions for assembly were only pictures no words.They were still pretty easy to figure out.It went together pretty easily except for one finicky screw and Bolt (well, I'm not sure if the thing is actually called a bolt...so you see I really am not gifted witha ssembly).My arms were sore by the end (this table requires tons of screws 64!) but no major mishaps.All the holes were properly aligned.Once completed the table was sturdy and looked strong.The drawer is very spacious.As others mentioned, there are no compartments but we put the little pieces in a small tupperware container without the cover.

The table is a must have for calico critter fans.A dollhouse at table level is easier to play with.Plus with all of the teenie tiny pieces, they are much less likely to get lost since they will not end up on the floor.The wall around the edge of the table keeps the piecs from sliding off.The table is a great height.My tall 3 year old and gigantic 4.5 year old can easily play with it and there is plenty of room to grow. The designs on the table are cute and the top has nice scenery too.Overall, it was worth the money and tired forearms.

The table is precious and is sturdy.Our problem is that the drawer screws did not line up right and cause the drawer panels to bulge and probably will crack and break if not reinforced.The instructions were good and table itself is sturdy.We tried to get a replacement drawer from International Playthings and they could not provide a replacement drawer because it was made in China.They should keep replacement parts.Amazon answer immediately but could not provide a replacement drawer.They would pay shipping back and give us a full refund. We put it together a few days before the party so little eyes could not see and did not have time to get and put another table together again. What if the 2nd one had a problem with table not the drawer? We did not want to go to the trouble of sending it back because we would have to take it apart to put in the box and then put another together.We are the Grandparents...too much trouble.We are going to try to fix the drawer and Amazon did give us a little refund to help on the drawer since it is a large item to return.The whole problem could have been solved easily with replacement parts. If I had it to do over again I would buy it locally so I could deal with the seller or have them put it together.I buy a lot from Amazon and have been very pleased with every purchased except this one.You are dealing with too many parties to get complete satisfaction.They did what they could, I guess.

Black and Clear Glass Chess Set

This glass chess set is great. It is durable yet small enough to be moved from room to room. It's also very beautiful so I don't mind having it is my livingroom on the coffee table. It's provided hours of fun for our family.

The chess board is a transparent Glass (not so obvious in the product picture). The size of the pieces is around 2". which makes the pieces not small but also not large. the aesthetic view of this glass chess alone is worth the 20$. you don`t have to put the pieces and the board back to the box, since it gives a nice touch to the room. but if you want to put it back to the box you could easily do that, as the box have places for each chess piece and you cover it with the filling thingy on top of it and you put the board on it,and another filling thingy on the board, then put it back inside it`s box. it`s convenient as to avoid forgetting any piece when you finish playing because you`ll immediately notice in the box that there is an empty slot which means you forgot a piece (sometimes after playing a piece fall down under the couch or a table) so it`s nice to know that you`ll probably wont get any pieces lost so easily after playing.

This set is truly beautiful without being overdone.A few of the peices came with chips in them, but since my hubby and I are the only ones who really see them, I did not bother to send in a complaint, though I know we could have easily gotten replacements for them.The glass peices are very classy and the whole set is a lot of fun to play.The bottoms of the peices are felted so they don't scratch up the glass board, which is a nice touch.Overall, I am very pleased with this set, as is my husband. Highly recommend!

Not 100% perfect in terms of coloration & glass build:

black colored squares (some spots have unnoticeable specs missing)

Few clear pieces have small bubbles inside.

My black knight's nose was broken! All other pieces in tact.

Felt feet don't seem like they'll stay on very long. I'll probably remove it and line each piece's bottom with Elmers Glue.

Overall, if you're looking specifically for a black & clear glass chess set, buy this one.

I purchased the Thomas and Friends HO starter kit that uses the E Z track system after spending some time trying to get my old atlas style HO tracks together with little luck / much frustration.I purchased this kit to expand upon the oval that came with that kit.I was very impressed how easy this track goes together and stays together with no nailing.I was able to set up a train on our kitchen table for my daughter's birthday and then simply pull it apart and re-assemble on a much larger table in my basement.To me its well worth the price.The only downside is I was told there aren't as many options for the E Z tracks yet, but I've seen all of the basics (straight, curve, Y split, crossing, bridges, etc) so there is more than enough to have a good setup.

I am a retired man recently widowed.While going thru my wife's belongings I came across my HO steam engine and my Bachman Spectrum passenger cars.I got excited and decided to put it under the Christmas tree this year.I tested it to see if it still runsand found that the only track I had was 2 9" straight tracks which was enough to move the engine back and forth.So now I needed track.. I never thought Amazon would sell track and sure enough they do. I liked what I saw in the picture and the reviews were good.I liked the idea about then snapping together and can be used on carpet without the track moving.I took a chance and ordered several packs of the 22" radius curved, some 9" straight and the terminal rerailer.First good part is it was on PRIME and I did receive my order in 2 days.I put them together and was amazed how easily the snapped together and just as easy to take them apart.

I wanted to run my train around the Christmas tree on the carpet.(Every Christmas tree should have a train either under it or beside it.)I ran the train at full speed and so happy to see the track did not move on the carpet, it lays flat on the carpet and the train runs evenly on the track (no wavy up and down ride where the tracks connect together. It is a tight solid fit.The result is the tracks lay on the carpet like they were nailed down onto a platform.Then I was really excited and got the Christmas tree and set it up inside the circle.Then I went and bought more straight trackso more or less eliminate a circle.Well, to make a long story short,My tree is up, the train running, and all the holiday decorations are on displayeven though Thanksgiving Day 2012 was still 4 days in the future.

I have the e-z track already and these extensions worked great.You don't have to deal with bedrolls and uneven floors as much, the only downside is that the plastic track bed transfers more track noise to the material below, so I still put track roll under the plastic.

Gund Snuffles 10" Plush - Large, Tan

Hardly any stuffing in this at all.I recently bought the "spunky puppy dogs" for my 3 kids and all of them have any stuffing either.I thought it might just be that product not so!They making things cheaper and cheaper.NO filling in a stuffed animal?How are you supposed to cuddle with it.

Impossible to contact Gund customer service by phone and they don't respond to emails left on their website "contact us" page.This is the 3rd horrible experience with a Gund stuffed animal and I am done with them... There are so many other reputable brands to buy from who will appreciate you business.

Got Snuffles because I was reminiscing about my childhood. I remembered him being super soft and of such great quality (as with all Gund products). This one had a haphazardly stitched smile and the fur was scratchy, not super soft as I remembered. Was very disappointed to see Gund not standing for the quality it used to.

I have many Snuffles bears from GUND that I have collected over the last thirty years and I have given more as gifts. This new 10" tan bear should not even be called a Snuffles. I returned the one I ordered. I must admit I originally thought it was a knock off. The quality is so low. The fur is not soft and the bear I received already was showing some fraying on the ears where tuffs of the fur were falling out. The softness and quality of the fur GUND used on this bear is really substandard. As other reviewers also mentioned the bear is lacking stuffing, it feels flimsy. The bear I received also had an lopsided face. I can not say enough about how disappointed I was in this bear. It was not even soft enough to want to cuddle. It makes me sad that I can no longer give these as gifts to the children in my life because they just are not the quality I had come to expect from GUND.

Nice looking. Sturdy blade: especially since my little knight beats the tar out of things. Only major disappointments are that the hollow plastic handle is two peices which came apart under stress pretty easily and the gold plastic decoration on the scabbard came off easily. A great sword for more gentle fighters but a sturdier handle and more well attached gold decor would make this perfect.

Green Silicone Tournament Chess Mat - 20 Inch Board with 2.25 Inch Squares

I bought this because the standard vinyl rollup board I've had for years always unrolls with "memory," meaning it doesn't really lay flat. Also, because it's a cloth material on the bottom, it doesn't do so well around stains and other various goobers it may be placed on. It still works fine, it's just a little gross.

Enter this silicone chess mat. I can fold it up to transport and it takes up less space in my bag, yet it still rolls out flat. Awesome. I can spill stuff on it then rinse it off under water. Sweet. The size of the squares is great and the text is clear and easy to read. Right on.

Consider, though, that this IS made of thin silicone. Therefore, it's going to be more susceptible to piercing (don't play on top of forks, knives, or rocks!) Additionally, it's a bit more "grippy" when compared to your traditional mousepad-style or vinyl mats, so not only do the pieces not slide as smooth, but it hangs onto hair, dust, and other small particles better (although easily rinsed, as mentioned above).

I knew the pros and cons before I bought it. I still bought it. I've been very happy with it.

At first I really liked this board and I still think its a worthy product but since I ordered a mouse pad type (similar to this one: Mousepad Chess Board 20"x20") I don't think I'll use it anymore.Its rolled up in the closet unused at the moment as it collects a lot of dirt and hair and it feels kind of funny; as though it came from a medical establishment or maybe that halloween mask texture. It just feels odd when I roll it up and store it in the chess bag and since my chess club plays at the local mall's food court, I get to see all the stuff that I thought I'd wiped off the table stuck to the board.It does lay very flat every time and the colors are vivid.If the goal were to ball or fold it up into a small bag, this board has an advantage over the vinyl or mouse pad type, but I use a regular tournament chess bag so this isn't a concern for me.If it weren't for my issues with the texture and mainly the dirt collecting, I would use it exclusively.This is my preference though and I won't give it less than four stars as it does what it says and is of good quality.

This silicone chess mat is incredible!Great looking (green and white squares)!Scrunch it up and throw it in a bag and take it to your club/tournament take it out of the bag and it rolls out completely flat (exactly as advertised).The only negative is that it picks up lint/dust fairly easily because the silicone material is slightly tacky.It cleans up easily with a wet towel.This is really a fantastic chess mat for the casual or serious player.

Comparing this new silicone board to the common vinyl roll-up boards, the silicone would need a lot of getting used to. I like the vinyl much more. The silicone feels just like rubber and is VERY floppy. It's not easy to roll up. It even stretches like rubber (and I'm sure some people would love this). It's not for me.

Dog-Opoly

If you love dogs or happen to own one, and you like "Monopoly", then I highly recommend this game!It is played just like the original "Monopoly", but with a very obvious twist...instead of the focus of the game being moving your car (or in this game, dog-related item.) around the board (which has been altered to a cute doggy version) and rushing to purchase property, the fun is doubled as you get to purchase dogs instead!Let me tell you, the bids were high when my grandma was considering auctioning off the Boston Terrier (the breed of my closest furry friend)!And what was even more exciting was the fact that a big picture of a Boston Terrier sits right in the center of the board!Anyway, I can't speak for everyone when I say that you'll find your dog in the game, but the game is still loads of fun, and very kid-friendly.Besides teaching managing money with dogs, it also teaches about the different breeds featured in the game. (Read the backs of the cards with the dogs on them.)

Overall, I highly recommend this game!I enjoyed it very much and can't wait to play it again! (This time I WILL get the Boston Terrier!)

When I ordered Dogopoly, I thought that all Dogopoly games were the same with metal game pieces (a fire hydrant, a flea, a T-Bone steak, etc.) as pictured just like regular Monopoly game pieces.

I was not aware (until now) that there is a "cheaper" version that has colored wooden dog bowls and dog bones for game pieces.I purchased this as a gift for a retiring executive who is a serious dog lover.It seemed like the perfect gift for that purpose.

Unfortunately, I received the "cheaper" version.I say "cheaper" because this game cost the same as the nicer version.I don't understand why there are two versions with the exact same outside cover.I am very embarrassed and disappointed with this item.Although this is not a reflection on the vendor, I feel tricked into buying the game that I really wanted and ended up with something else something I wish I hadn't purchased.

When to box arrived, I took the game out and wrapped it (in dog wrapping paper, of course).The entire office gathered around to witness the event.I was expecting to point out the cute metal game pieces, and to my horror, saw colored wooden dog bowls and dog bones instead.I am so embarrased.

My 5 year old is addicted to this game, we played it every day for the first couple of months we had it, sometimes more.It was so educational for him to learn larger numbers, and how to put the money together a certain way to make up how much he owed, and is now starting to be able to make change.It's amazing, he's five and can add and subtract large numbers using money!!I recommend it for everyone!!! Geospace Hover Soccer DELUXE Air Hockey Game

I bought this for my 9 and 6 yr old sons. The suction cups and rails to keep the puck inside the game area don't work well. The suction cups don't "suction" and the puck doesn't bounce off the walls that come with the deluxe set. The puck either messes up the boarders or it gets outside. It was very frustrating for my boys. The puck works great. Floats nicely on the wood floor. The strikers are nicely felted on the bottom. But without the boarders keeping the puck inside, most of the game is spent getting the wayward puck from across the room. If you have some kind of table that can keep the puck inside, then this would be fun. Otherwise, you might want to pass. I don't think my boys will be opening up this game again to play it. Sad.

We bought all 4 of the Wiggles dolls for my son. He quickly took his favorite, Murray, out of the box and has played with him ever since. They have all held up nicely, and I havent even had to change batteries yet. I hated to take any of them out of the box (for collector's value) but he loves his Murray doll. Especially since we saw them in concert and Murray walked right up to him and waved! Like another reviewer said, this is a great doll for a boy to love! I do not feel any qualms about my boy having these dolls.

These mats are wonderful. They are well made; cut down on the noise of the tiles; beautiful to look at; and are perfect in every way. Best I have seen; they rank way above any other table cover I have ordered.

Love the quality and colour vibrant red!Gets you into the spirit of the game.One down side, when shuffling the titles (twittering the sparrows) the nap causes the tiles to turn over (face up) so we are continually having to flip them face down.

Hard to believe that this is anything but intentional and perhaps owing to my own ignorance of Chinese Mahjong but the table cover...

If you arrange it so that East on the table cover is truly East, then North and South are opposite of reality (North on the table cover will actually be South and South on the table cover will be North). It truly counters any intuition one has about directions and I don't understand the reason for this.

Thus the markings on the cover are irrelevant and it's just a nice table cover. Thought about returning it. Kept it because it is a nice table cover for playing Mahjong.
