This was a gift for our daughter's first birthday.It is very cute and well constructed.However, some of the hardware was defective.With a simple run to the hardware store we were able to put it together completely.Our daughter loves the little engraved animals on the table and chairs, she is constantly touching and pointing to them.It's been a big hit.She's still a bit of a clumsy walker, so you have to be careful about potential head bonking!I imagine it would be perfect for a 2 year old.

I loved this table and chairs when I first bought it.It looks great, and the storage hold in the middle is something that the kids loved (until they stood in it too often as toddlers and destroyed the fabric--no complaints about that though, it's the reality of having 2 toddlers).However, we've had it now for a little less than 2 years and I have to complain about the chair legs which have not held up well at all. The legs have repeatedly fallen off the chair (because the screw receptor doesn't stay inside the leg), and wood glue is not enough to solve the problem. I think the fact that the legs seem to be made of particle board/fake wood is the main reason this happens.

I purchased this table on January. Three days after it arrived one leg broke and the leg of one of the chairs broke as well. I requested another table and it came in five days. Within March the leg of the second table broke down, and the upper part of the chair broke as well. Tried to return it, unfortunately the item cannot be returned after two months. It looks very good, but it is horrible quality.

The moment I saw the box on the front porch it screamed CHINA.I could tell by the dent on the side of the box that there would be damage.Once I opened the box and saw the subset of two boxes inside along with the MINIMAL styrofoam, I knew there would be damage.

I opened the table box and the first thing that I saw was the corner of the table dented and the pressed wood was separating.

I ordered this, the rocking chair and the storage chest.After reading the one honest review for the storage chest I came to the realization that whoever called this heirloom quality may have been paid to leave their response.I'm still not completely sure how you "carve" pressed wood.

Initially I ordered a replacement but considering the lack of packing I have no idea how this could ever arrive to anybody undamaged.

I'd rather have something made of solid wood that will hold up to the abuse of the projected user.
