I happened to order the Rapunzel Vanity Toy Set first by mistake and found out that was for the actual Rapunzel Doll.After realizing the mistake, I re-ordered the Vanity Set but again, was disappointed when I put it together and found out that this is in NO WAY meant for a child 3 or over.It is way too small.My 3 1/2 year old daughter was so excited when she saw it on Christmas morning, but as soon as I did put it together and she went to sit on it...she fell right off!The stool was as low as the ground!This toy is probably more suited for someone much younger/smaller, even though it says for 3+, definitely was not!

I could not believe how tiny this vanity was when I put it together.Like the other reviewer pointed out, the box says ages 3 and up.My daughter is 4 1/2 and has to slump and hunch over on the tiny stool with her knees up around her shoulders to look in the mirror.She doesn't seem to mind, which is pretty amazing, but I am hugely disappointed.The hairbrush arrived smushed in with other accessories and its cheap plastic bristles can't be re-straightened.Description says "Magical lights and sounds" really only one light and one sound.Not worth the price of the batteries.

Just like the other reviewers, it was too small and it only had one light and one sound! I'm glad I got this as a christmas gift and didn't waste my money on it.

I'm sorry that I'm laughing reading all these reviews. Amazon needs to change the description so that it is clear that this vanity is for Disney's My First Princess Toddler Dolls, not a child, and not Barbie's.If you buy it and use it the way it was intended, it's a great toy. It says 3+ years and up because that is who is approved to play with it, not sit on it. Video games say 10+ and that doesn't mean it will fit a ten year old inside, lol!

I bought this at Christmas time for $35. Now I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I thought it was going to be a little more then it was.

My daughter is 3 and this is too small for her (she's 42" tall). The seat is the biggest problem. To give you an idea of just how short it is, the entire height of the seat is only 6". The vanity itself is 31" high at the tallest point, with a 6" depth at the widest part of the vanity top.

They also spent a lot of time engineering this piece so they could use the least amount of plastic possible. It's filled with trusses to hold it up. The rigidity is fine but I find it hilarious they went to such extent to make it as cheap as possible especially when you consider the MSRP is supposed to be $70. I would have returned it immediately if I would have spent $70.

I almost returned it but it was too close to Christmas and I didn't have time to go get something else.

In conclusion, I would have to recommend buying something else due to the fact that your child is going to out grow this rather quickly if they are not already too big for it when it arrives.
