I saw this at the office of my colleague and ordered one for myself right away.It spins when there is some light nearby.It is a wonderful conversation piece with company and I just love having it in my living room.I bought this for a friend for Christmas last year and she and her kids loved it.
Globe does not turn reliably no matter whether it is in the light or not. Expensive and disappointing.
