I am so happy to see little girl Duplo sets with Disney characters.We love them!My 21 month old loves putting Duplo blocks together as well as stacking regular blocks, so when I saw these it was a no brainer.To be honest, I didn't think this set would be all that great (but just had to have Snow White), but I have been pleasantly surprised.All my kids (including 4 and 5 year old boys) and I adore the chairs, table, Snow White, and the bunny.They love putting the bunny and Snow White on and taking them off the chairs.They love the little bowl that is the table, and have used it for their snack foods while playing with it.They have put dry cereal and frozen peas in it to eat for themselves.I highly recommend this set!
My 17 month old loves this and I've never seen Legos with fabric clothes, but amazingly the skirt has not gotten lost :)

All the skepticism I had about the true quality of this product went out the window very shortly after unwrapping it. The eveness of the bounce, and smooth overall feel of these balls leave similar products by Stiga in the dust. It is very rare to find a product that actually performs as advertised. I really think that I got what I paid for, and then some!
Perhaps all ITTF approved 3-star balls are the "same" if you use a new ball every match. But in my experience, Butterfly balls last a whole lot longer than others. Get a pack and try it for yourself.

Excellent top quality ball (a best buy). I like these better than Joola Super 3-Star (very poor durability), Donic 3-Star Balls, and Stiga T0641 3-Star Table Tennis Balls, 6-Pack (Orange) (best of these three) being faster and more durable (and durability has become a big issue today). But, as tomthree points out these are not as good as the even faster and more durable Nittaku Premium 3-Star Balls (the standard for players at my local tournaments). Note: TSP (hard to find anywhere), DHS Athens, and Double Fish 3-star balls (not currently available at Amazon) are also very good. Now, the Butterfly is a fairly soft ball... softer than the all of the others mentioned (and so, they don't bounce quite as well but they do allow for greater control). However, again as tomthree points out, the butterfly's are cheaper with the Nittaku Premium 6-pack normally going for $13.50 (plus shipping). Mirror For The Tub
I was looking for a kid's bathtub mirror so the kids could view their soapy mohawks and silly grins in the tub. All the mirrors I saw geared toward kids were too small or had characters on it that took up most of the space and the mirror part would let you look at your eye and cheek at best. Initially I worried that this TV mirror would be too small but when it arrived I was pleased to see the mirror portion was bigger than I thought. It has no suction cups on the back; it sticks to wet surfaces and will eventually slide off if either too wet or totally dry. It sticks on our tile walls. I'm very happy with this product, especially the size of the mirror. I'd recommend it!
This mirror has a ridiculous amount of distortion-it's like fun house mirror.I hardly expect it to be like a glass mirror, but this is really low-quality.And it came scratched and clouded in the middle.I've been underwhelmed by Alex products in the past, and won't be buying any more of them.We needed more bath toys for my son, and requested this for his birthday.He loved it...until we tried to stick it to the tub.It simply doesn't stick!Our tub walls are completely smooth...no tiles or grout.Everything sticks to them nicely except this product.Also, it's quite small.Makes a decent mirror for an infant to play with on the floor, but not for the task it's designed to do.

My wife collects Gund Snuffles bears, since she thinks that Snuffles is THE classic teddy bear.One prize in her collection is the silver millenium Snuffles.When I was looking for a fun Christmas present for her, I went looking for a comparable current version of Snuffles.I thought this tan one would be the same size.Wrong.It is at least twice as big!It came in a box the size of a mini refrigerator.This Snuffles is absurdly large, but in a good, funny way.My wife loves her new Snuffles, and it was the perfect fun gift novel, something a little silly that made us laugh, but also something that means a lot to my wife because of her collection.I wanted to surprise her, and receiving a 3-foot tall (and 2-foot wide) smiling, huggable bear will tend to do that.

I know my mother would have loved it, and I could afford it, so I bought it and couldn't be happier.
It does come in a box the size of a refrigerator, and is enormous. It is the size of a small human being and has quite a bit of weight to it.
It is ridiculously huge, but it IS exactly what it should be: a conversation piece, a heartwarming presence (and I have been accused by many of having no heart at all) and wonderful to sit next to when you're unhappy or lonely.

This product is amazing as it was larger than i thought and definably huggable. He is so soft! This is my first Gund and i will for sure get another. I did not give 5 stars because the quality is not perfect. there are sill some noticeable flaws around the nose and the neck. Plus i was very disappointed with the packaging from amazon. The bear was stuffed into an obviously too small box and when i received the item the box was all bowed out. I mean the bear was far from damaged but i felt like he didn't get the love and care expected from amazon. I ordered these for my son since they were less expensive than crayola and included more colors.The just aren't as good.The color is not as strong as crayola and they are more flaky.They are also not as big as crayola Jumbo size crayons, so they don't fit tiny hands as well.The price is good and there are more colors, but I prefer crayola brand.
These crayons are perfect for beginning colorers...ages 2, 3, 4 who tend to squeeze hard when concentrating.Would buy again.These crayons are great for little kids learning to use crayons.There is no paper on them to peel off and the crayons are thick enough that they do not break as the children are drawing.The only down side is that the crayons do not work as well as other brands such as crayola.When you use them, the colored in part is light and spotty.Overall these are good crayons for beginners.

Fisher-Price Fix-it Right Manny's Repair Shop
My daughter just bought this for herself with some gift cards and Christmas money. She is just about 5 years old.I actually encouraged her to get it as it was marked down to $45 at Target and there are so few building type toys marketed for girls that since she likes the show I figured that was close enough.I cannot say that I feel this is a $100 toy.$50 is an acceptable amount of money to put out for it, but in my opinion it is really not worth much more than that.
The front of the box shows that you can "build and fix more than 20 projects", and shows that you insert the "blueprint" onto the worktable, then follow the instructions.On the back of the box it is mentioned that there are only 3 blueprints that actually insert into the table, the other projects are on a "blueprint poster" which is basically a piece of paper.Apparently during assembly my daughter stepped on this piece of paper because it already had a hole in it by the time we were ready to build. That is something that is not going to last.They could have at least made it a laminated poster.
Also, there really could have been more tools than just a screwdriver and hammer.I also think there could have been more building pieces, as you can pretty much only make one thing at a time.
The blueprint cards themselves could also have been bigger as this toy is for ages 3 and up, and it really would not have hurt to make them a little bigger so the drawings could be a little clearer.
As someone else mentioned, they could have done a little better with part storage.There is nowhere to store the screws, plates, tools and blueprint cards, not to mention the flimsy poster.There is a "shelf" under the work table, and had there been some type of enclosed storage on that shelf I would have definitely rated this 4 stars rather than three.And yes, storage does warrant knocking this down at least a star, because without the pieces, this becomes just another useless noise-making, space-taking, I-can't-throw-it-out-because-it-cost-me-a-hundred-bucks, dead dinosaur of a toy.
My daughter did enjoy playing with this and was able to put together a couple things with my help.I don't know how much long term use she is going to get out of it, as I will be chasing pieces around and there aren't any extras that we can afford to lose them.

Would I buy again: May return back to comment in a few months (and remember, we got it for $45!)

I purchased this for my almost 5 daughter for Christmas. She loves it, and so does my almost 2 yr old son. I love how it comes with illustrated instruction sheets, and when you plug them in, Manny tells you what to do. Very cute idea! My daughter still needs a little help to get the projects put together, but they are fairly easy to do. The two reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5 are this:1. There are soooo many little pieces to these projects, and no practical storage to keep it all in. I'd like to see plastic bins underneath to hold the screws, nails, and "wood" pieces in. For right now, we keep it all in a Ziploc freezer storage bag.
2. This product comes with Pat (the hammer) and Turner (I thinkthe screw driver). My daughter was a little upset that it didn't come with all of the tools... I think for the price all the tools could be included.
All in all, it's a great toy, and both of my kids love it.

My 4 year old son has had this workbench for a year .. it was a Christmas gift last Christmas.He still plays with it almost every day and loves it.My 2 year old daughter participates in the play as well.Given how much they play with it and the fact that it has mostly lasted a year, I think it is worth paying full price if you have to.With that being said, I only gave 4 stars because the screws and nails are small and eaisly lost or misplaced.If you could purchase extra building parts or the set came with more building parts I feel it would be worth 5 stars.At this point we are missing so many parts he can only really build one or two items.
Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - 2 in 1 Playboard
We bought this playboard to replace our previous playboard that had endured almost 10 years of abuse. It was intended for our 2yr old son who wasn't old enough to build the tracks himself and because I was getting weary from constantly fixing whatever layout we built for him. The idea of the pregrooved track side is brilliant. This board fit nicely into the older Thomas the Tank table and was a great way to refresh the older table. Sadly, this is the extent of the positive things I have to say. This playboard is turning out to be a great disappointment.This board is made of paper covered particle board. My old board was also made of particle board, but had some serious lamination to protect if from some moisture and to endure train play. Depsite my no food/liquid rule, a sippy cup was set down on it and the table now has a unsightly moisture blister. A sticker was stuck on it, and when I removed it, part of the scenery came off! My older board better endured normal stuff like this all the time.
It arrives from the manufacturer in two separate pieces. I'm sure this helps reduce the cost of shipping. Since there are grooves for tracks on one side, if they are not aligned perfectly, the trains, especially the motorized Thomas trains, get stuck.
This board is only about 5/8" thick. Especially since one side is grooved, its too flimsy.
What an overall disappointment. It seems like in an effort to meet the pricepoint, Learning Curve has really sacrificed the quality that we've come to expect from the Thomas Wooden line. Like the other reviewer, I am SO glad I didn't pay the full $99. However, I would have been willing to pay the full price if I were to be guaranteed a better product. We have had it for 6 months now and it is already showing a lot of wear. My son is actually on the calmer side when it comes to train play. Nonetheless, I do not anticipate that this will still look pretty in a year.

I really debated whether to buy this board with two sides and the track grooves, but two halves, or the one-piece board with only one side and no grooves. Opted for this one and I'm very disappointed in the quality. Should have listened to the other reviewers. The two halves do not align at all, and if you line up the two pieces so the tracks match, the other features (buildings, bodies of water, roads) do not match. The two sides are even different colors, like it's a mismatched set. We put this and the table on our Amazon Wish List because it's honestly something in a price range that wasn't in our budget.We have come to expect high quality from Thomas wooden train sets.
It has two sides as mentioned, which makes it more fun.We have several different sized Thomas and Friends trains...wooden, TrackMaster, Take and Play, and Mega Blocks.The Take and Play trains are too small, but the wooden and TrackMaster trains fit.The TrackMaster motorized trains will only go around the outside track while motorized and can't corner the tight corners if you start it off on the inside tracks.Of course, they aren't meant for this board, so that's not really all that important.
The boards fit easily into the table but not snugly, so there is a little bit of give if you move it.That give means that sometimes the two boards don't align perfectly and our three year old has problems crossing from one board to the other.There are many different ways that we can address this including inserting a small piece of wood along the side to keep it snug, so this really isn't a problem.
Both sides are vividly colorful and help us narrate tales of Sodor for our son.The flat side allows us to do a lot with the table outside of putting his wooden sets there.And, thankfully, all of his various wooden engines get parked along the sidelines and not all over my house (happy mom).
We already have a small scratch on the board so the durability / finish isn't spectacular, so we are hoping that it doesn't show too much wear as the resale value of these tables is extremely high (board and table set never go for less than $100 in our area on Craigslist).It doesn't seem worth the price, but then again, all of the Thomas wooden train elements are prohibitive!

Gund Baby 24" Blanket
My 10 month old loves to cuddle with his horse blanket when riding in the car.He especially enjoys sucking on and playing with the tags on it's mane.The two different textures are great for sensory learning.The top is soft fur and the underside is silky.I like cuddling it almost as much as he does.As for size it is somewhere between a stand stuffed animal and a baby blanket.Closer to the stuffed animal size I would say.
I put this at 3 stars instead of more since the quality has been going down over the past few years.My daughter's frog is built much better than my son's dog (18 months later) and my next son's Monkey (3 years later).They continue to cheapen a product that my kids treat as a security blanket and need to stick around for the long haul.I am now getting one of these for my 4th child as his 3 sibling all love their "buddies".My oldest received hers 7 1/2 years ago as an infant and still sleeps with it.I have washed these many times and they held up well.These have definately been well loved pals for my children.

My 10 month old has had this lovey since birth.It is incredibly soft and is a great size for wrapping your arms around for curling up to sleep.My first complaint is that it was initially very fuzzy... little pieces of fuzz-hairs would come off and get in his hands/mouth (after washing, too).Additionally, it is definitely not as high quality of a product as some of the other comfy cozies (we have the spunky blue dog and brown dog as well).The baby loves it, though.When it's bedtime, I put it on my shoulder, pick him up, and he snuggles his little face in it while I hold him.This makes a momma happy and that's just as important as making the baby happy :DWant Gund Baby 24" Blanket Discount?

I always do my homework by reading the amazon reviews for items I plan to buy.I read about the poor construction of this toy, but given a lack of other choices, I decided to take my chances anyway and hope for the best.Sure enough, 2 of the 6 pins holding this toy together were broken upon arrival.Instead of going through the return hassle, I just moved the 4 good pins to the corners for now to keep it secure, and I'll look for my own hardware to fix it myself.There was no box damage at all; this toy just isn't very durable.If you decide to buy anyway, I hope you are luckier than I was!-Tony
This product uses metal pins and several of the pins on mine were a little bent so did not always pop back quickly. I could easily straignten though.Also the ends of the pins seem to have been cut with a wire cutter and not rounded.Therefore when you push against your hand or other body part the sharp edges can hurt.Also the pins will not push very far in as they seem to get stuck due to hitting each other.Build quality is poor on this product.
As the pins are metal product is quite heavy and will not balance on its side or end when many of the pins extended so if you want to leave a display of a pressing you need to be sure a lot of pins pushed in.
If you want a metal version I would suggest looking for one with rounded pin ends and better build quality of look at one with plastic pinsOur son is autistic and hard to find toys he likes.His brother had a similar toy and he picked it up and wanted to play with everyday.He likes sensory toys.He likes the feel and sound of certain toys.He is 24 and non-verbal but, the smile on his face says how much he enjoys playing with it.I'm sure younger ages would like this, also.

I think this is a great toy for kids 18 months and above.We bought this when our girls were 12 months, and they definitly did not appreciate it (we should have listened to the box!) until they were 18 months old.I would advise buying additional track which isn't too expensiveour kids became bored with the amount of track with this set, and I would buy some extra trains or engines.Before investing in all the other Brio products, I'd make sure your kids like this set first.This seems to be a good "foundation" for starting a Brio collection.
Having grown up with Brio toys I wanted my son to have his first train set for his first birthday. It definetly took him a couple of months to start playing with it and now at 18 months he plays with it daily. The track is simple as small enough for a small child and the tunnel seems to be the best part. I think it is great for his fine motor skills.
The set has been very durable and we'll be adding to it this Christmas, in fact asked all the relatives to get a car or two and some extra tracks. I highly recommend this!

The idea is good but the product itself is made a little cheaply. The case hinges with just a screw and can easily break if not opened properly and gently. Also the pins wobble even if they're in place.This game is small enough to travel (and everything does fit conveniently in the case) but I wouldn't want to be picking up all the pieces from the floor of the car!
Still, any toy that can get kids to use their brain instead of watching TV is worthwhile.
Ages 8+ (but my kids are half that old and already get the concept--in time this game will teach them to think ahead in much the same way as chess, or even Connect Four.)
