Harvard M01460W Single Shootout Electronic Basketball Game

I purchased two of these games for play. The first one set-up easily but one of the sensors for scoring did not work at all. So I set-up the second one. The second one works pretty well. Very few missed baskets and it was fun. I called customer service and they right away sent out a new sensor and scoring system.

After a week I received the new sensor unit. Installed it and it does not work properly either. It maybe will score 1 out of 4 baskets made. Really bad. Now having to order another.

The other unit scoring still works great. But the net is comming apart from the rim. Also the lower part of the ramp that connects at front is coming undone as well.

They are pretty cheap, so I dont expect the world. But one unit has never worked, and other after a week of use is showing signs it will be done for within the year.

We bought this for our 13 & 6 year old boys for Christmas. They love it.They enjoy having their friends play also.It does take some time to assemble but was not that complicated with the directions they provided.Unfortunately the electronic scoreboard did not function when we tried to play it.My husband contacted Harvard and they sent out a new scoreboard immediately without any issues. We received it within 2 days.We are quite happy with the quality of this game and Harvard's customer service.

Kinda flimsy and my husband ended up having to drill new holes into the backboard because the company put the holes up side down, making it impossible to mount the backboard to the frame. My sons like it for now, but I see it only lasting a year before it falls apart.

I originally bought this game for my son and two nephews, but my husband has played it more than any of the kids.He even generously offered to put it in his "man cave."Since I received it a week before Father's Day, I agreed.Happy Father's Day:)

It was pretty easy to assemble. It took approximately an hour and fifteen minutes with a little help from one other person.

Marshall Brodien's Magic Show Video Set

We bought this as a gift for our 7 year old son's birthday. What I really like about this set was the instruction video that is included. He learned how to do the tricks without much assistance(no "Mom can you help me" or "Mom I don't understand how to do this"). He has had lots of fun with this set and has played with it many times since his birthday. The tricks are simple, but so cool to him. I would definitely recommend this set for children. This isn't one of those toys that will be played with once and then forgotten.

I bought this for my nephew who is 6 years old. He LOVED it! It was very easy for him to learn the tricks with the video that was included. It is a kid-friendly product. He looks for any opportunity to put on a magic show, now! I would definetly recommend it to anyone. Great price, too!

Viper Wind RunnerGreen Soft Tip Darts

I purchased these darts as a set of heavier and "cheaper" in price set compared to the ones that came with my dartboard.

However, I have really enjoyed these darts. They are wider on the shaft than my more expensive and thinner darts but I enjoy throwing them just the same. When I have friends over they also have enjoyed the weight and feel of these darts. In addition, my two daughters 9 and 12 use these and I have no fear of them "breaking" or damaging them because they weren't that expensive to begin with. In the end, good darts for all around use for the price.

Table Topics To Go - Road Trip

Having a long car ride coming up, I decided to mix things up and purchase these cards. They came quickly and were of a good quality material. As an example of one of the questions, "If you knew you'd be stuck with it forever, what nickname would you chose?". The cards vary in types of questions and it was able to get some funny discussions going. I wasn't disappointed in this purchase. I have refrained from going through them all beforehand, so they are fresh questions when we read them.

The game was fun, but it's not something you can play more than once.We had a few good laughs and it brought up some good discussion on our road trip.We got through the cards in about an hour and now I think I'll pass the game on to a friend and maybe they will enjoy it on their next road trip.

The good about the card is that it makes opponents rethink using that mana and when they do it mills the deck. But once they can bypass that mana with other mana it just seems like a wasted card in the deck. I have a bunch of them now that aren't in my mill deck because I would rather some defensive cards (either counters or small creatures).Maybe they will make it back into the deck if I can find the right combination for it.

Powell Hills Of Provence Bar Stool

I was so pleased to find another of these chairs! I had purchased 2 chairs like this along with the matching table several years ago. I found the third chair on clearance at a local furniture store. I had looked for one more chair to match my set for a few years now. Everyone who sees my pub table and chairs has a "fit" over them! They are comfortable, stylish, well made and stand up to the wear and tear of my 5 grandchildren as well!!! I was very fortunate to find this one at Amazon.com!! The price was good even with the shipping and handling! My neighbor just remodeled her home and is now wanting to get the same chairs for her kitchen bar/counter!!! I love it, love it, love it!!!

Originally I ordered the table and two chairs.Loved the set so much, decided to order two more chairs.Couldn't be happier!I get a lot of compliments on it.Thank you!

Barbie Fairytopia Wonder Fairy - Joybelle

We purchased this for our 6 year old who by the way doesn't like barbie's but loves the fairy's. She has so much fun with it. It comes with a book a map and a tiny fairy. She likes it alot. At first when she got it she wasn't to sure but after she read the book it really got her into the fairy spirit.

This doll is a real beauty. I have two daughters (2 and 5 years old), who both love all the Barbie fairies. Joybell is, I think, the loveliest of them all. My daughters got her a couple of weeks ago, and have not stopped playing with her since. The doll has a high educational value, not in the common meaning of the word, but in the way that it is creative and stimulates children's need for a fantasy world where everything is possible. My daughters have played with her in the garden among the flowers, where she is a real princess. The durability of this toy has yet to come to the test, but the fabric on one of her wings is already a little loose. -And I think it might be a problem to keep her clean, as I am afraid to get her wings wet, so maybe playing outside is not such a good idea. She comes with a small fairy, which should be kept away from small children, a beautiful little book with a simple story for the youngest children and a map of her imaginary world. This is a great toy; I wish I could have had such a doll when I was a child.

My daughter is simply head-over-heals for Joybelle. She was actually gifted to my 3 yr old daughter by her grand-uncle in Pakistan (!!!) who bought the doll there for 5 TIMES THE PRICE!!! Hey, if everyone's happy, who am I to complain?! She is gorgeous! Almost spellbinding! Her eyes are hypnotic; I swear! It's not only me... several people have said that. Well ever since we've returned to the US, its been Fairytopia this, Mermaidia that! We have all the movies, most of the main characters... our latest addition is Elina... the one who's wings turn into a tail... its hilarious when my dd re-enacts the scene when the mermaids go into what she calls, "the deps of dispao!"

The wings always fall off and the way they clip on makes it impossible to put other clothes on the doll. The other day she took off the clothes and put them on another barbie. Don't waste your 17.99.

Minnesota Fats MFT655 Westmont 7.5-Foot Billiard Table Package

I purchased this product from another retailer, but thought it might be helpful to review on Amazon.

Let me start with a CAUTION:There is a lot of false information in reviews as to what "slate core" means.I've seen folks describe it a a layer of slate sandwiched in between two layers of MDF.Wrong.Probably the best definition I've found is "Slate-Core is a resin injected, pressure treated board that resists warping. It essentially petrifies the wood making it as hard as a rock and a perfect surface for playing pool on."Bottomline, it's not slate. From underneath, it looks like a very dense fiber board. But it is very heavy, and so far, level.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this table. My three teen age boys have never played pool before and they are having a ball. And although I grew up with a very nice slate table in my home, this is an acceptable substitute ... much better than some I've seen.

Observations.

Doesn't roll quite as fast as slate. But for the price, I didn't expect it to.

Cushions are a little dead compared to high end tables, but again, for the price, that's exactly what I expected.

Table is very heavy.I didn't weigh it, but the box it was delivered in was definitely more than the advertised 308 pounds. It took four people to load it in the back of my pickup truck (I picked it up in the box at the store I purchased it from); three to get it out and into my basement.

Assembly was easy. The table top is pre-assembled.All you have to assemble is the legs (first assemble the legs, then attach them to the table bed).Took me less than an hour by myself.

Easy to level the table. Each table leg has leg levelers.I set up the table on a tile floor laid over concrete, so it was a level and stable floor to start with. That obviously made leveling pretty easy. Can't speak to what it would be like on a different floor type.

I can't assess how well it will last. The frame is all fiber board, so I would expect it might warp a bit over time, making leveling increasingly difficult.Only time will tell. But if Amazon still sells this a year from now, I'll update my review.

Hope this helps you a little. If you can afford slate, buy it.But in my case, with three sons who have never played pool before, this table so far is outstanding.I'm very pleased.

Newgy 2050 Table Tennis Robot +4 Free Crest Tournament Rackets!!!!

Although I prefer playing against a human opponent, the Newgy 2050 Table Tennis Robot is a great way to keep your table tennis skills sharp.Setup and teardown is incredibly quick and easy.I especially like the straightforward programming capability and the wide variety of shot options.Highly recommended.

I don't believe you can find a robot on the market today that is as versatile as this one at the price. I would even say that the Robo Pong 2050 is superior to many other robots half to two times its price. It has a great set of 30 drills pre-programed into the robot but they can also be slowed or sped up to meet your need. This allows you to make a basic drill into an intermediate drill or slow down a hard drill as needed. I've used mine several times a week for over two years and I am always finding ways to readjust and make drills that will best improve my game. Newgy also has wonderful customer service!

This baby works beautifully.I initially was frustrated because some balls weren't landing on the table, but... I decided to read the directions and found that you are supposed to adjust the velocity on some practice modes. My wife won't play with me, my kids are good enough... Thanks Newgy for filling in a gap in my household.

Read Best Reviews of Newgy 2050 Table Tennis Robot +4 Free Crest Tournament Rackets!!!! Here

The Newgy 2050 is everything that I wanted in a table tennis robot.I wanted a budgeted machine that is able to have enough functions to keep me interested, increase my level of play, easy to store and quick to set up.I took a look at all kinds of low end machines such as the iPong and the lower models of the Newgy. The main things that lack in the other ones isthe recycling ball net and customized functions .The recycling ball net was overlooked by me from the beginning.Once you get good enough then you don't have to waste time picking up 100 ping pong balls off the floor or if you by your own net then you don't have to waste time to place the ball back into the bucket while awkwardly reaching over the table to do so.Also the other lower models don't allow you to change type of oscillation so it is predictable in which direct the balls will be firing at.Some website mention that you level of play doesn't increase much, this is false in my opinion. It is hard enough to find someone to play with already in my case.So I practice looping and smashing by myself and can adjust my technique accordingly.Having a machine that has precise ball firing allows you to methodically adjust carefully to become better. Also, it is relatively easy to sell if I ever get bored of it because it is highly sought after.I have had about 6 weeks worth of playing time and really glad I got it.

Like:

-Ball recycling net

-customizable controls

-easy to store and put away

-works great

-mine came with ping pong ball pick uper (20 bucks worth); I don't use it though

Dislike:

-it resets all the functions once you unplug it (down side, but only minor)

-the four rackets it comes with are only good for swatting flies

Who would I recommend it to:

-Beginners/intermediate table tennis players or someone that spontaneously want to play and don't want to wait

Lightning Reaction Reloaded - Shocking Game

UPDATE: I wrote this original review 2 years ago.I just returned from visiting the nephew for whom I bought this in 2008 and was surprised to see that he still had it and it was in great shape. We played a couple of rounds and it gave us a lot of laughs and a couple of shocks. Not bad for a toy these days.

Original review:

We bought this as a Christmas gift for a 15yr nephew. This was the toy that we were all playing with afterwards and it had kids and adults alike stitches. The shock is harmless (although the instructions warn against playing if you have a pacemaker), but is strong enough to be surprising each time you feel it.

We hadn't seen games like this before, so it was novel and fresh as a gift idea. The adults and the adolescents each enjoyed giving it a try.My guess is that this is the kind of thing that will be popular at parties, tailgates, etc.

When I was researching this, others commented that it felt cheap. It is certainly a light-weight plastic toy, but ours didn't seem in any danger of being damaged as it was passed around, or as those receiving the shock for losing tossed the handle away.

I like this toy.

I purchased this Lightning Reaction Reloaded game because I saw it on a television show and it looked pretty entertaining.

You can make it so its 2, 3 or 4 people playing the game. You also can control the strength of shock the "loser" would get. From 1 to 4. 1 is pretty strong, but keeps getting stronger the higher you adjust itIf you were going to play with children I would most definately not have it set at anything but 1. You can also change it so the "loser" gets 1 shock or 3.

The object to the game is to be the first to push the trigger on the top of the handle (there is 4 handles) at the end of the music that plays.. If you are the 1st you "win", if you are the last-you "lose" and you get shocked! You can also adjust it so that instead of pushing the trigger on top it would be to hold the triggerthen last to let it go ends up getting shocked.

I would say this is a fun game for adults, and teens its pretty funny to see peoples reactions... and everyone is scared/nervous to lose because they dont want to be shocked.

Pretty crazy that they make games that shock people but its actually entertaining-but its obviously notsomething that everyone is into...

But if you are looking for something different... this may be it!

Buy Lightning Reaction Reloaded - Shocking Game Now

It is a good implementation of the shocking game, though eats battery quickly. Very-very useful to select the shock strength, start with light and go extreme level! Most of my friends tried it out, liked it, and don't want to play again and get shocked (except larger children). It is worth to try, but do not expect long play time.

Got this as a "nice" family christmas gift from Santa and its all that and more. You should get this game now because they are going to take it off the market once someone gets hurt. At the highest level your finger stays twitching for 15 minutes plus.Brings lots of laughs to everyone willing to play it.Its made out of cheap plastic but who cares.Just don't let that pace-maker in your family play it!

Meyda Tiffany 17507 Bell With Base, Mahogany Bronze

• Finish: Mahogany Bronze
• Lamp Type: Candelabra

This lamp is not what you may think it is from the photos and description. It is quite small which was hard to ascertain because there was only a weight given (they are quite heavy) and no dimensions. This is quite a tiny lamp, about 14" tall and the brim of the shade about 7" across. Also, the photo shows what the lamp colour is like when it is turned ON. When off the shade is very, very pink with a very purple edge. Not the more white and blue tones shown. I have kept the lamps as they are nice and luckily still suit the room I bought them for. They most definitely were NOT what I thought I was going to get though!

The toys are for children over 4 and many have small pieces.Adults will have to monitor My Little Pet Shop Toys around younger children. It is a popular toy for girls. Enjoy. They have boxes for items or you can get your own box. With a box, you can transport toys on trips. I hope you get there with all the little pieces. The educational value is hard to rate. Imaginative children can use toys in many creative ways. Children should be taught to take good care of their toys.

Offi Kids Kapsule Chair

Our two year old son loves this chair. It's fairly big, which means he'll be able to use it for a long time. The quality of plastic is really great. Even I can sit on it and it doesn't even bend or warp, much less threaten to break. (And I weigh... Not a little.) It has storage which may be better for a 3-6 year old but has been a source of drama for us with our 1-2 year old. He likes to grab things and put them in there. If we need to take the chair apart, we can. But it's waaay too difficult for him and it's never come apart on its own. This is a nice, durable chair that's worth the money. And my child, like many others from the reviews I've read, likes to push this around and be pushed around while sitting on it.

My children love it and it's not a eyesore for me. I really like the orange color. It is easily wiped clean. It was recommended to me by my neighbor, who has children with allergies, and has found this easy cleaning, an the fact that there is no cloth to trap allergens, to be a great help. It did take two of us to snap the two pieces together, and the kids have pulled it apart a few times, but still very pleased.

Buy Offi Kids Kapsule Chair Now

I toddler had a huge smile on her face when she first saw the chair in her room, hence the 3 stars. However, it did take me awhile to put the capsule together when I first received it, and I am usually very handy when it comes to things that requires assembly. The 2 parts keeps slipping off when you trying to push them together to lock. Anyway, took me awhile.

Also I wish the chair itself is less transparent in color, I think it would look a lot cuter if the color was more solid bright orange, but that is just subjective from my part. The color itself is quite similar to the picture advertised on site though.
